A tale of Princess

Just as everybody still alive and breathing, she woke up as early as 4am yesterday (Monday), did her Dreemport task and wrote an article which was published on read.cash few hours later. She observed her morning prayer thereafter, took her bath and prepared one of her favorites meal (Yam and Egg). Still watching the time as she was having her Lectures by 12pm. Thank God for the lecture at 8am that didn't hold, she took her time to do other things.

Princess left the house at 11am with her high heel sandal she bought last Saturday.

This would be her first time wearing such to school aside that she wears to Church every Sunday. She was worried how it would look on her but as unconcerned as she was yesterday, she took a bold step putting it on. When she got to the road, she was shy at first but later, she had to wave it off and concentrate on her walk to school.

Who has anyone's time to start looking at how they were. If anyone is bothered about her look, then they should come and face her, she would then know it has gotten to that extent and besides, she is ready to spill the word "what is your business?" out. When she got to the main road, the venue for her lecture was at a far distance. She called a bike who carried her straight to the place.

With how everywhere was, Princess should be the first to arrive asides students from other departments. Few minutes later, her colleagues were arriving and the greeting started "Compliment of the season" "happy new year" "happy resumption" with smiles on their faces. Who dare frown to greet another? It was such a beautiful day and the first compliment she got was "you look beautiful". Princess smiled with a "thank you" accompanying it.

They thought their lecturer won't come but he came in ten minutes after 12pm and used an hour lecturing them. After the lecture, her friend saw how she looked and smiled, also surprised Princess could put on a high heel to school. She looked taller than normal which she found great on her.

Then, she and others waited till 4pm for the next Lecture but unfortunately after waiting from 1pm to 4pm thinking the lecture would hold, it didn't. They took their bags and bid themselves goodbye. During the time she was in school doing nothing, she thought of spending her time engaging online but the network had to manifest badly with her. She was bored and the only way to kill it off was to watch a movie but she doesn't keep them in her phones except watching from Netflix but there was no network to allow it.

Her friend had gone to see her supervisor and by the time she came back, with a bad news that a notorious cult member that has been wanted in the school for long was dropped down dead few minutes ago. The word death scared her and they started talking about it. Her friend warned her not to step outside if they found out that he was killed because the neighborhood would not be safe at all.

Then a message from her sister came in asking how her birthday would go. She then told her she is ready to pay the bill instructing her to go to an eatery on that day, ordering whatever she likes and calling her for the bills as she would send straightway.

Then what scared her the most because it came in coincidentally with the word death again. Advising her to save at least little but spend and buy whatever she wants because life is too short and no one knows when the time would come.

When she got home, she immediately prepared her meal as she was starving. After her meal, she went to get a new bag since she needed one. She already gave out her bags to her siblings when she travelled home. She got this beautiful bag for herself after much negotiation.

She then decided to go through her project and the assignment she is to submit soon. Then, she became weak after everything and she couldn't try anything online. Thank God she already did some little tasks early in the morning or else, it might be a suspended and postponed task for her.

Apart from being tired, the network was still not going through and she was so worried how it was like that last night. She saw someone watching an interesting movie beside her and it was Indian movie, she asked to be sent to her phone at least she won't feel bored again since network isn't going through. She watched the movie and listened to some songs on her phone.

The light came around at 9pm and went inside to take a shower, then the sleep came in so quickly that when she woke up this morning, it was 5:45pm instead of the usual 4am she ought to have woken up. The night was a bad and so quick for another beautiful day.

Princess is ready for another day and she hopes she would find her way online. Her exams are around the corner and it's just a month to her exams and she needs to get prepared too.
