2 Cor 5:17 :Therefore if any person is [ingrafted] in Christ (the Messiah) he is a new creation (a new creature altogether); the old [previous moral and spiritual condition] has passed away. Behold, the fresh and new has come! AMP When you gave your life to Christ or received the life of Christ, you became a new man, you are not that old person who was given to sin or who is attached to generational problem or generational curse, you have a new source now and God is now your father. You have to understand this as well, that you are a new person on, don't let the devil tell you the story of your past, saying you know you have a price to pay, tell him Jesus has paid the price for every man who has found himself in Christ, that's why you are a new creature.
Know that you are a new person, different person let this be in you according to 1st John 3:9 Whosoever is born of God doth not commit sin; for his seed remaineth in him: and he cannot sin, because he is born of God. In conclusion, detach yourself from the past and begin to think of who you are now, your new life in Christ.
