One thing that is great about this Internet world we live in is that so many of us have the ability to share things that, in another time, we could not have. We can share our art. We can share our musings. We can write and share that. And yes, when we make our own original music, we can share that as well. And share I like to do. Not to make money. Not to get accolades or other praise. Not to try to make myself somehow a "cool dude," because certainly I am far from cool. But simply because it is a hobby I happen to enjoy, writing and recording music, and while I don't get to stand on a stage before an audience of cheering, adoring fans... I do get the opportunity to feel like a star for at least 15 seconds. This is another cut from my album, Pink Flamingoes. The last one I shared was "102 Idle Stones." This one, I think I was going for something of a Jimi Hendrix sound. But PLEASE understand I am NO Jimi Hendrix, and would never in a million years even BEGIN to put myself into his corner. He was a massive talent not to be reckoned with. In any event, I wrote this song back in 2016. "Slide." Let me know what you think. The good, the bad, the ugly.
