How did out warehouse/office cat Cal get his name? Because it is kind of an odd name for a cat, I suppose. We got Cal from a lady who had a farm and a couple litters, and as such she was looking for homes for those cats. We decided it would be cool to have a warehouse/office cat, and so we picked one out. Debra was her name. It was immediately decided that Debra was not a good name for a cat, and so we renamed Debra and called her Callie instead. We had no idea if Debra/Callie was a boy or a girl. But the farm lady swore it was a girl. About a week or two after we got the newly named Callie we noticed she was having some strange looking bloody stools. Concerned we took Callie to the vet. When the doctor called us to let us know the verdict, he told us, "Well, the good news is that Callie has a bit of a case of worms. Easily treated. We will give you something to treat that and she should be done with that in about a couple of days to a week." We felt relieved it was nothing serious. After all, we had only recently gotten Callie and had already become quite attached. "One other thing," said the doc. "Callie has balls." And with that, the cat who was named Debra, who was renamed Callie, became Cal. lol
