Indeed. Money is a tool that gives us the power to gain our freedom. There is a good blog post about that here: https://jlcollinsnh.com/2011/06/06/why-you-need-f-you-money/ . However, be careful with that "love of money" feeling. At least one of the good books says something like, "The LOVE of money is the root of all evil." Respect money, use it wisely, but don't love it for its own sake.
