Starbucks announces it will raise prices multiple times this year to mitigate inflation and rising labor costs. Nothing like an already overpriced cup of coffee being even more overpriced. Oh well, I don't drink that swill anyway so it does not matter to me, and the customers seem more than willing to shell out for one cup what they could buy a can of coffee for. So, who I am to judge? I can make a cup of coffee at home for about 2 cents per cup.

Agreed. Haahaa. #GoldCups.
The bad part is that it is such an overrated cup of coffee. I actually think both McDonald's and Dunkin Donuts are miles ahead. But that's just me.
👍👍👍👍👍
I agree with you, I can make whatever you want at home and at the lowest cost
Lol, 😉 Seems like someone now understands why Starbucks had me always
No. What you told me was that if one wanted to invest in fools who will soon part with their money, Starbucks might be a good place to start. 😂😂😂
So you are sentimental, that's cool. You hate them because they are overpriced we'll that doesn't stop them from.making there cash.
I never denied they could make a lot of money. I mean, think about it. You have rich people making coffee at home and poor people spending $6 on a cup at Starbucks. Is there any question why there are rich and poor? lol That's why I said a fool and his money will soon be parted. Fools squander their money while the rich find ways to keep it. It's why they are rich. Haven't you figured that out yet?
Lol, a lot of rich celebrities take Starbucks daily. I dont know what you are talking about even mark took Starbucks also saw a picture tho I dont know where I saw it.
You are going to compare rich celebrities to people who actually EARN their money through hard work and building things? Gosh. I have a word for this, but I am going to keep it to myself.
What are you saying? Do you know how hard they fought to become where they are today. Some came from the streets of begging, did you come from the streets?
So did many CEO's. Did you know Phil Knight, one of the founders of Nike, lived out of his car? Mark Cuban started off dirt poor. Real estate tycoon Paras Pandit. He was dirt poor as well and struggled with many failed ventures becoming poorer before figuring things out and working hard. Dr. Sanjay Gupta sold candles on the street before becoming an education magnate. Jan Koum struggled to even get food stamps and is now a billionaire. There are too many rags to riches stories out there. They come from all walks of life, and reside in all professions.
Don't say anything, there is no difference, stop it Porwest.
There is a HUGE difference between how celebrities make their money and how businessmen make their money, and there is also a HUGE difference in how they spend their money. Celebrities' money tends to be in things while businessmen's money tends to be in assets.
Most celebrities are invested into businesses. You were hitting the point of hard work and building things need I remind you. So what are you trying to say? That those celebrities who are hand to mouth and those billionaire who had their parents find them who worked harder to achieve a common goal? This celebrities had to beat the odds while these billionaires the odds were in their favour
I don't even know where you are coming from on this one honestly. You are not making any sense at all. lol
What I'm saying is, to can't compare to billionaires effort to be much of hard work than that of the celebrities. You can't condemn the hard work it took those celebrities to get to that position, a lot of black basket ballers came from the trenches, I'm not talking about bills gates who had his parents fund him and dropped out of havard or Zuckerberg who dropped out of hazard Jeff Bezos went to Princeton, Warren buffet went to university of Pennsylvania. Celebrities never had money to go to school, they beat the odds worked hard to be where they are todayy
You cannot compare the risks taken nor the enormous amount of work it takes to run a successful business to an actor, a musician, or even an athlete. I am not discounting a celebrity. I am just saying that they make their money in different ways, for different reasons, and therefore treat money differently as a result as well.
You clearly compared rich celebrities to people who actually EARN their money through hard work and building things. There's no other way to explain this than pointing out that celebrities does the opposite of what you said here. Athletes earn their money through hard work, serious serious extremely serious hard work Imagine Mohammed Ali boxing under water. Imagine where he was when he had nothing. Don't compare them both they all worked hard, but the athletes worked harder physically.
You are still missing my main point.
How?
