The first leg of our journey to Florida went well enough. Took us about 7 1/2 hours instead of 6 1/2. But that could be in part because we actually stayed in Fultondale, Alabama. Looks like the last leg to Cape San Blas in Port St. Joe will take us about 5 1/2 hours—more likely 6 with a couple stops. Stayed at the La Quinta in Fultondale. Not a bad room. We made the decision that we will probably stay at the same hotel on the way back so long as it is available. We shall see. Onward and upward.
