I was exploring those who might leave a comment on our articles but not leave a tip on the post. Do we tip them or not? And if I choose not to is this a good idea or a bad idea? The comments so far have been very interesting to read and I am enjoying the perspectives that are offered in them. I may have to write a follow up on that now as there have been some thoughts presented that I had not considered. Always fun to read thoughtful comments. https://read.cash/@Porwest/is-it-wrong-of-me-on-readcash-ff1e0217

To many bs comments just because people hope to get rewards. I will follow commenters and reward their content if it's good. And yes I reward great comments
I haven't read.cash account. But having a noise, comments really interesting sometimes, came from our virtual friend who have different experience from us
well i guess it's all up to you. In my case whose new to read. cash i dont have earnings yet to give tips to some post or article that i have read and like. I do read articles that interest me though dont have the capacity to tip yet. Here at noise im lucky to have ft earlier than expected ( barely 2 wks here) so i am giving ft to commenters too just to show i appreciated them by dropping by and find time to read my post. A way of giving back and i guess thats how it works here right?
Yes. And in time you will be earning well on read as well. It actually doesn't take a whole lot for Rusty to find you, and others as well of course.
oh hoping for that to happen soon. Thanks!
I realy dont know! Have a Lovely evening
I think the hard part for some users including myself we don’t qualify for the free tips pool so any tips we give has to come from our earnings here on noise. It’s a same as it really restricts the amount we can tip, it’s kind of a vicious circle because we don’t have the funds to tip others we in turn don’t receive that many tips. Why we don’t qualify for the free tips, I really don’t know but I thinks that’s the main reason some either tip low amounts or not at all 😊 we want to tip but lack the funds
I fully understand, and in some of the comments I have received on the article, some people have made similar arguments. It IS a bit of a conundrum of sorts. I too have difficulty understanding why a lot of people who are legitimately posting are not receiving more opportunities here, for example, to receive the free tips to give out. My coffers are almost always full here, and I have tried to figure out why that is the case for me and not for others, and I have not been able to figure that part out. I don't feel like I am doing anything necessarily different or better than anyone else.
It’s an extremely confusing one isn’t it, so many good community member posting fantastic content are not given the ability to use the free tips, how the system decides who qualifies really is a mystery. For me I share out 10%-15% of my income to give back as I believe that’s the right thing to do and have the hope that one day I will qualify for the free tips as well. For now I will try to be the best community member I can, stick to the rules and encourage people to keep posting awesome content.
