Wealth creation is a time honored thing that has followed the same basic rules throughout history no matter what it is that we called "money," in whatever time period we were building our personal wealth. Crypto will not change how you become wealthy. The same rules apply to crypto that apply to everything else we have ever traded for a profit. It will act just like any money we have used, no matter its origin—rocks, pigs, gold. Doesn't matter. Having a strong understanding of what it is you are investing in, and being realistic about that investment's outcome is key.
