I like to play the lottery. I mean, come on. Think about it. A MegaMillions or Powerball ticket is worth 100s of millions of dollars if you win, and they only cost $2 each. Then there's the state lottery worth potentially double digit millions—although ours was $1 it recently got bumped to $2. Still, these are pittances compared to what you can actually win, and despite the horrible odds to actually win, I always take the stance that somebody HAS to win, and the only way I can possibly be one of them is to have a ticket in my hand. It's really a fool's pleasure, you know. But, what the hell? But coming here on noise.cash it does make me think of something. Considering I hardly ever win anything at all from it, and certainly have never won the jackpots, what I am essentially doing when I buy a lottery ticket is tipping the future winner. How generous of me, hey?
