Oh well. It was good to me over the past three or so years. I was wanting to mess around with guitar a bit today, but I could not get my audio interface I use for recording and monitoring to monitor in two ears. It receives signal fine, but it's the monitoring part that's shot. I had a feeling it might have been broken when one of the cats got his foot tangled in the cords and sent the thing flying. It was confirmed today something broke on the earphone jack. Oh well, I have a new one on order. Only set me back about $97—I don't need anything fancy. Traded my AudioBox for a Beringer Euphoria UMC202HD. It should be here Wednesday.

Feels weird to put a heart on this post, as it's a post about a fallen soldier. I know for sure I would be on the upset side if my Focusrite for some reason died on me.
I considered a Focusrite. Just wasn't willing to shell out the $169 for it for the double jack inputs. You a musician too?
Used to, in my teens and 20's. Now I'm just in my 40's but I can't afford a Porsche to help with my mid-life crisis, so I play around with my guitar and some sampling when in the mood. What audio interface are you using, what type of latency and what software
Back in the day, and for most of the Pink Flamingoes album I used Sonic Acid Pro 4.0 for the DAW, but there was no interface. I was able to plug direct in from a mic or my amp straight into the computer. Eventually I wound up switching to a Presonus AudioBox USB and used the Studio One DAW. Now I am back to Acid, and the new interface will be a Beringer Euphoria UMC202HD. Eventually I may switch the DAW to Cubase, but that is a decision I have not made yet. For drum programming I always used FruityLoops. But I have my eye on Toontrack EZ Drummer 2.
Some nice gear, it shows in your videos the sound quality is quite good. I used to use the M- box audio with protools on and imac, but the latency was terrible, I then switched to Prologic, its been a few years now since I recorded anything. I used to love messing around with overlays and samples in the software on top of original guitar and lyrics for fun, I just don't have the time at home atm, but I do miss my equipment.

I don't have anything online atm, I did when I used FB, but I removed all my stuff when I closed that account, I am sure I might have a track or two still lurking about ha ha, I will see what I can find and drop you a link
