A song I wrote back in 2017 that my wife absolutely hates. Not for its "musical" aspect, but for it's "context." Sometimes music just comes, and not all of it is about personal experiences, but it's just telling stories. I am a horror writer, and maybe that's part of where this one came from. It's about rape and murder, and personally I have no desire to do any of these things. But the idea and the song just came to me and so I wrote it and recorded it, for whatever that is worth. That being said, many people who have heard this song said it reminded them of something David Bowie-esque. I do not get that vibe, but there has been more than one person that said that to me. Maybe I was inspired by "China Girl?" lol. Not sure.
