I agree with you. We can overcome poverty with some good perspective in life. One person can be financially poor, but rich in family and relationships, harness that strength to improve your situation. Another can be mentally poor but rich in creativity and skill, use strength to prove otherwise. There is always something that will push us to greater heights, one day at a time, slowly but surely. Nothing is instant.

A lot of Filipinos are contented to be called poor, some judgement are coming from their selves. Some are just accepting the reality without doing anything for them to live a better life. We have this saying "Hindi kasalanang mabuhay ng mahirap, ang kasalanan ay ang mamatay ng mahirap." Cause when you are already born from a poor family, you already know what is the feeling living in it. You already know how hard it is. That is why you must feel motivated to do your best. To make a way to scape in that type of life. Stop depending on what other people can give you. Start to the dream from yourself, do a planning to achieve it. And of course pray for it. Do your best, God will do the rest.

You are poor if you don't have food on your plate, being sick and not being able to see a doctor, no education and not knowing how to read and write, you don't have any job at all, your homeless. Life is very strange. What a miserable life lead a poor people! Its so painful. They cannot fulfilled their daily need. On the other hand there are many people who have many things but when he or she compare with others then he feel jealous. They are not actually poor.

I remembered the saying that goes like "It is not bad that you are born poor. It will be if you die poor." So if we experience being poor, not only in monetary aspects but in various areas of our lives, we must strive and work hard in order for us to overcome them.
