This is the Mont-Saint-Michel, France, which is located in the estuary of the Couesnon River. Its situation in the middle of a bay makes that, periodically, is invaded by the sea. So, with high tide you’ll be in an island, and in a low tide, in a rock connected to the Continent through a vast terrain of quicksand. #Travel
