Every now and then you see a small ensemble and just feel joy. That's how I felt here... I wish you many such moments!

There are summery feelings outside, but obviously Christmas is not far away. Here I have already seen the first decorated Christmas tree and in my neighbourhood also at least 3 shining stars in the window. It makes you feel a bit confused...
In spring, a few little horned violets moved into my garden. Obviously they thought it was cool and sowed themselves everywhere, so in autumn you are amazed when these cute little flowers bloom everywhere as if it were spring again.
This is actually a romantic courtyard with a fountain. This, however, looks like a long construction site. So there's no romance here, just realism. That's life...have a nice evening!
Yesterday we decorated the snail shells of the Roman snails. The children love it! Luckily we live near the vineyards and can always collect supplies....
You can make such fun little things with little material...noses from maple with wire and beads - done. Have a good evening everyone!
In our neighbourhood, someone has set up a cup exchange fence. A fun thing with really changing cups. On our bike ride today, this red cup was laughing in the sun. A sunny Sunday to you all!
Today I only had a little business to do on the other side of town, but there was a small car accident right there. However, trams and buses could no longer pass and it was total chaos. After a long search, I found a parking space. To be on the safe side, I took a picture of the street sign to find my car again...
Good evening and greetings from the sauna, of course without a photo. Actually, one is supposed to relax and normally I read a book, but in the new season, energy saving is the order of the day. There is very little light and it is far too dark to read. The professionals have eBooks with them but I was badly prepared and so I have time to write to you...
Today I also had to photograph such a beautiful night sky. Since I have seen the power of the moon on the shores of the oceans in various places around the world, I look at it even more reverently. Good night!
Colours like in summer, only it's November...🤔
A dear friend has poured a candle for me and I like to think of him every evening. We rarely see each other but when we do it is always very good.
Ancient trees with an incredible will to live fascinate me again and again. This oak is over 500 years old. That means it has seen real knights and damsels and much more, both beautiful and sad. Remarkable!
Very old farmhouses had holes in the wall at the top to ventilate the roof. Sometimes they were decorated with such beautiful patterned lids. Today, these beautiful pieces are sold at flea markets where my friend found them... Have a nice weekend!
Saturday afternoon just at home...also really nice. I wish you all the opportunity for contemplation from time to time.
My roses have not flowered like this all summer. These colours in the sun when it should be snow...
Days with obstacles... Stollen baking (for those who don't know it - a very substantial Christmas pastry) was planned together and at my girlfriend's place. All the ingredients packed and...the car won't start...off to the train.... You see, we made it after all.
Good evening everyone, on the photo you can see Dresden airport...no one on the road.... Here, at the latest, I always realise how far we are from a cosmopolitan city. We are on our way to London and I am looking forward to a lively airport with people from all over the world.
Dear people, don't throw anything away...there is always a use for it and I find this upcycling really funny.
This imposing building is the chapel of King's College, Cambridge, and was built around 1515. There were many beautiful details to discover. Maybe I'll show some more in my next posts. Have a good evening everyone.
Painting behind glass...an old technique that is hardly used today. Seen here with great perfection. Also found in King's College.
I don't know their names but they looked cute and didn't mind at all. Have a good evening everyone!
An English breakfast from 1860, definitely not with poor people. Very special, pheasant for breakfast. I'd rather have today's light version... Bon appétit!
Someone says that the Church does not move with the times...
There is something calming and decelerated about the end of the season. Only weatherproof walkers and rock collectors remain, and nature. I love it!
See the faces? A funny idea, designed and sewn by fashion students in England. Not necessarily wearable fashion but interesting. Have a good evening everyone!
We travelled on an English double-decker bus today and were happy as children to sit up in the front row and enjoy the view😁. Anytime again!
A cosy afternoon with soft jazz with the band "Land über". A good way to get in the mood for Advent and highly recommended live. Have a nice rest of Sunday wherever🙂
I wonder what they are talking about. It's really cold but they don't mind and they spread summery lightness in the snow. Enviable!
An evening with Olaf Schubert and the Ballast Orchestra. Weird humour but well done. I wish you all a great evening!
This stark stone made of special marble is a memorial for star children. All the love for all parents who had to lose their child like this.
If I am ever ready for the island, I find it very inviting. An interesting artist found in a shop in Norwich England.
I thought I was too old for Advent calendars, but there is now a nice tradition. 24 women make an Advent calendar for 24 women. Each of us packs 24 identical packages and then we swap them over a fire and mulled wine. It's really a lot of fun every year...
A fun carousel to slow down. Even the rain couldn't dampen the mood. Have a great weekend and first Advent!
He watches the human activity from a wall and thinks his piece.... A good time to you all.
A very good evening to you all! I hope you had a relaxing first Advent and some of you were able to enjoy a delicious mulled wine outside...like here.
Sometimes window dressing is really nice to look at. This one had something of childhood about it. You just want to stop and look...
This is what a photo looks like when you want to take a photo of something important as a passenger at the side of the road and the traffic light turns green... Have a good evening everyone!
Hello all, Here's a funny idea from a wine seller. Each bottle in this shop was labelled with an exact description of the taste experience to be expected. It was very interesting even if I didn't buy anything.
