The Four Faces Of Social Isolation
Everyone likes to be around other people. One reason is that social interactions are intrinsically rewarding. The other is that it helps people feel secure. Social isolation is toxic, because it poses a threat to our safety and well-being, but our need for other people is so strong, that if we don't believe we'll be able to be around others, it can even incite feelings of physical pain.
Social isolation can affect society in a noticeable way, with countless studies highlighting the negative impact it has on the health of individuals. It's now also believed to be contributing factors to often neglected, yet serious mental illness problems, such as depression and loneliness and the community might not address the issue, if people don't feel like they can talk about it.
The Four Faces Of Social Isolation
There are many ways to be alone. Younger and older people, rich and poor, men and women can all experience isolation in different ways. People can feel extraordinarily connected while also being completely alone. However, everyone can identify with one or more of the four types of isolation listed below:
**Alone Together: The Extinction Of Private Life**
One hallmark of the modern age is that the boundary between "public" and "private" has become increasingly permeable. Most of our interactions are not only known to others, but expected to be shared.
Even in small ways, it is often expected that we post things on social media websites, talk about our private lives in telephone conversations with total strangers, or brags about our latest conquest on our Facebook "page". The desire to share has overtaken many aspects of our lives, but at what cost?
Reasons for feeling isolated can vary greatly. While some people may be content with the assumption, that their lives are not interesting enough to be of interest to others, or that their problems are too petty to bother with, there are many others for whom such assumptions would be false.
Not everyone can be interesting, and not everyone wants to be. Some would rather live in quiet anonymity, than sacrifice their private lives for the sake of public recognition.
What matters is the recognition of your right to live privately. The modern world has encroached upon such things as the right to privacy, and we in the online community are not immune. From the "accidental" posting of intimate pictures and videos, to the use of hidden-camera "pranks", to the posting of information, that can not be unseen, our right to privacy has been slowly chipped away at.
This should not be; nobody should have to sacrifice their right to lead a private life just to keep up with the times.
As the modern world becomes increasingly reliant on computers, the future of private life becomes increasingly precarious. In order to ensure the continued enjoyment of a private life in the future, now is the time to cherish your right to privacy.
**Loneliness: A Quick Buzz Of The Heart**
When you are lonely, time seems to slow down and speed up all at once. The seconds seem to last hours, and the minutes seem to last days. You often find yourself daydreaming or doing mindless activities, such as staring at the ceiling, or chewing on a cuticle, or running your fingers along a piece of furniture you cannot name.
You often find yourself longing for the company of others, and feel an immense loss, when someone you have not seen in a while decides to end a friendship with you and then, there is the ache. Sometimes a small part of you still believes, hopes even, that you are just waiting for someone, who will make all this pain worth it, who will make everything better again. Sometimes you have to look at the person you love in order to remind yourself, that this pain is worthwhile, but even then it is not enough. Even though you know that he/she is out there, somewhere. You just need to keep looking.
Loneliness is a real disease, and it can be cured. However, it takes a lot of effort. If you are to dedicate yourself to your loneliness, you need to accept, that this is how your life is now. If you are to cure it, then you need to find ways to distract yourself. If you are to move past it, then you need to find the strength to carry on.
**Alone: No More, No Less**
At times you feel "alone". Perhaps you've been hurt in the past and have become a bit more guarded with your emotions. Perhaps you have built up walls around yourself, refusing to let anyone close. Perhaps you were a loner all your life and never learned, that it's OK to want and need someone else. Whatever the reason, you are alone, and you aren't sure you like it.
But, being alone isn't all bad. You've gotten to know and appreciate yourself a lot better this way. You've learned to rely on yourself before trying it with others. You don't need anyone to complete you, because you are perfect just the way you are.
You have become more independent and as a result, stronger. You have also learned to cherish the little things in life, because one day you may not have them any more. You have become better and stronger, because you were alone. It is only because you were alone, that you were able to face all these things and ultimately overcome them.
As you grow older, you may change your mind about being alone. You may one day find, that you do desire human connection and need it to be happy. But for now, you are content with your life and your choice.
**Weightless: Nothing Stands Between You And The Void**
You are weightless. No, not literally, but in your mind. Your mind is all you have to keep you grounded in this world. It is all you need to keep yourself from drifting away into nothingness.
You have become almost unable to feel anything physically. You have become so adept at disregarding your body, that you forget that it even exists. You can't feel anything physical, but you can sense all the emotions around you. You can sense, when someone is lying about something. You can sense, when someone doesn't have their emotions under control. You can even sense a hostile presence from across the room, just by sensing the emotion of fear in a person.
You have become so good at picking up on these things, you sometimes wonder how you ever missed things before. It's like you've got a radar built into your head now, and you can't miss anything anymore. It's a strange thing to have this much information, this much awareness and not know what to do with it.
There's so much going on all the time, you feel overwhelmed. There's so much information coming at you all the time, and you're not sure what's true and what isn't. How do you know what to make of all this? It's all just so confusing.
How To Use Emotional Intelligence When Making Decisions
When we catch ourselves in an emotional state, we'll often make the wrong decision. New research finds, that when people are in an emotional state, they typically make decisions, that they would regret later. The better we understand our own emotions, the better we'll understand the reactions of others. Choose your words carefully, when making decisions to deliver the message you desire.
Choose your words wisely, when communicating with your friends or team to minimize conflict. Learn to make decision before you make them and learn to make them after you know what you want to say. The more we know about our emotions, the better we can make decisions and behavior changes. The most important aspect of our skillset, is our ability to make decisions with the use of emotional intelligence.
What Is Emotional Intelligence
Emotional intelligence (EI) is the ability to recognize emotions, regulate your own emotions, and manage the emotions of others. It can be defined as the ability to effect your emotions on the situations you encounter and the ability to understand others emotions. The ability to use emotional intelligence can be learned, simply by practicing. By improving your emotional intelligence, you can improve the quality of your life and the lives of those around you.
Three Major Components Of Emotional Intelligence
**Is It All Relative?** Emotional Intelligence is relative. While tests can be used to rank people according to their EI, it is important to realize, that everyone is different. As one test gives a certain ranking, another test might rank someone slightly different. What may be considered high EI in one person, might not be considered high EI in another. This means, that you should only base your emotional intelligence on what the user considers to be the highest rank they have achieved.
**Is It All In Your Head?** Emotional Intelligence is real and can be measured. While many people believe it to be a certain thing in your head, that you just need to open up and let flow, it is actually a lot more complicated. It is important to understand, that you cannot force yourself to have a certain emotion if you do not feel it. However, you can learn techniques to help you feel a certain way, so as long as you practice them regularly.
**Is It In Your Heart?** Emotional intelligence is about more, than just the head and heart. It is about your whole person. While these three aspects are major components of emotional intelligence, there are many other areas, that contribute. These other areas include your appearance, your values, your lifestyle, and your personality. All of these aspects must be taken into consideration, in order to determine the full scale of one's emotional intelligence.
How To Increase Emotional Intelligence
There are many ways to increase your emotional intelligence, however, most of these involve self-discipline. The ability to make yourself do the things you want to do is what emotional intelligence is all about. Practicing certain skills regularly can also increase your emotional intelligence. For example, practicing singing can improve your musical abilities and make you a better singer overall. https://read.cash/@Peter-Molnar/the-importance-of-self-discipline-b4cdc1f0
The ability to focus is also important. If you can make yourself focus on a certain activity or task, you can increase your EI. The ability to reflect on your own work is also important, as is being able to recognize your own mistakes. The more you engage in the various activities, that can improve your emotional intelligence, the higher your EI will become.
How To Use Emotional Intelligence For Decision Making
Many people use their emotional intelligence for day-today decision making. For example, you can use your EI to determine whether or not a relationship or a job is going to be positive for you in the long term. You can also use your EI to decide whether you like someone or not. You can use your EI to work out whether you're going to win at a certain activity. You can also use your EI to help you with your short term decisions, such as what course of action to take when encountering something new.
Making decisions based on your emotional intelligence can be effective, however, there are times when it may be more beneficial to base your decision making off of logic. Different people have different methods of arriving at a certain conclusion. Sometimes, approaching a problem logically can lead to a more effective solution, while your emotional intelligence might dictate a different approach. In these cases, applying logic to your decisions can help you arrive at the best possible conclusion.
The important thing to remember is that you should always use your abilities in combination. You can't use logic or emotion alone, you need to use both. By approaching a problem with a combination of logic and your emotions, you can gain more perspective on it. By gaining different aspects of this perspective, you can find the best solution to the problem.
How To Develop And Sharpen Emotional Intelligence
Many people don't think about the ways in which emotions can serve them, because most people have accepted the negative connotations, that come with the word. In reality, you can use emotions to protect yourself from harmful situations and people. You can also use emotions to help you in positive ways, such as motivation or excitement.
When you begin to use your emotions in these positive ways, you will find that they naturally begin to strengthen. At first, you may still be able to identify with your emotions on a certain level, but you won't be able to feel them in the same way, that others can. At this point, you'll need to actively try to feel your emotions. By doing this, you can begin to make your emotions stronger.
In time, you may find that you can react to certain situations based on your emotions. For example, if something makes you angry, you'll be able to react in a suitable manner. If something makes you happy, you'll feel happy as well. This will naturally develop as you continue to spend more time with your emotions.
It is not essential, that you practice developing your emotions, as everyone's experience is different and some people develop quicker, than others. Certain activities can also help you to develop your EI, such as spending time with people, that have developed theirs, reading books about emotions and writing out your own thoughts on the matter. Talk about your feelings with people you trust and get their opinions on how you can improve.
The better you get at developing your emotions, the more freedom you will have in your life. You will be able to act in ways, that suit you through your emotions and you will be able to make better decisions.

Stream Of Consciousness: What Is The Mind Like Of A Creative Writer
Creative writing differs from any other writings more, than commonly thought. It is not merely utilizing words, that appear on the surface. Creative writers shift their perspective on events to find meaning, that isn't seen through the lens of the everyday. That shift is how they present hope to the reader, help guide them through dark experiences, and guide them through their own stories.
Some creative writers have a mental state called *"stream of consciousness."* In a stream of consciousness state, a creative writer's thoughts flow continuously from one idea to the next. In a sense, his or her conscious mind is never still, never without ideas or thoughts. A creative writer is the embodiment of imagination. They think big, ask big, imagine big, even dream big. But what are they actually replaced the mind with?
What Is Stream Of Consciousness?
Stream of consciousness is a writing technique in which the writer records their own thoughts as they occur to them in an unbroken flow. It is a way of letting the writer express their own inner monologue and thoughts, in the process letting the reader experience what the character is experiencing.
It can be very effective in creating the illusion of realism, but it can make it difficult for the reader to follow what is going on in the story. Because of this, it is often combined with other techniques to make it easier for the reader.
Sometimes, sections of the story will be in first person, and other times they will be in third person, but the thoughts and feelings of the characters are always in the reader's mind, rather than the primary point of view.
Many beginner writers use this technique, when they are trying to depict the inner thoughts and feelings of their characters. They may notice, that it isn't all that effective, so they don't use it again. More experienced writers use it to convey the frantic, chaotic nature of thoughts, without getting too technical with it and confusing the reader. It can also make the writing more flowery and elaborate, without adding unnecessary complexity.
Imagination
This is something, that creative writers never lose sight of. It's what drives them; it's how they get ideas. It's how they connect with their readers. It's how they can create something out of nothing. It's how they survive the hardest of times.
Imaginative writers can create any world they want, any situation they want, any environment they want. They can fill these worlds with anything they desire, as long as they maintain a certain level of realism. An imaginative writer could have a story set in the middle of the ocean and make it as real as possible. They could have a post-apocalyptic setting, where mutant insects and beasts roam the lands. They could have a world, where sentient computers hold nearly all power and are worshipped as Gods. It's all up to the writer.
Creative writing is highly transitory, though. Most writing is transitory. Most stories have a limited life span, and many books by the time they've reached a certain age are considered "classics" and not very read anymore. However, to a creative writer, their story is considered the "classics." They're able to connect with their stories and their readers in ways other writers never will.
The Mind As A Series Of Visions
Human beings have an innate desire to tell stories. We pass these stories down from one generation to the next, and these stories become myths, which become religions, which become new myths and so forth. There is one common element, that all cultures share: The desire to create stories.
This shows, that the mind is inherently creative, and it is the creative mind, that is needed to be a creative writer. The creative mind gives a person the ability to see things in a new way, to find new possibilities. It is through the power of imagination, that we create new things, new possibilities, and new realities.
The creative writer sees the world in a new way, makes connections, that others do not and discovers new truths. These truths are what allow the writer to see their own stories as "important" and to be able to inspire others to see the stories they create in the same way.
For the creative writer, truth is a moving target; it is whatever they want it to be at the time. To the creative writer, everything is open to question, everything is a new possibility waiting to be created, every story is a brand new universe, that can be built. Their vision is broad and as such they are able to create new possibilities in their stories.
For the reader, these possibilities are fascinating, inspiring and even life changing. These stories are new. They cannot be found anywhere else, and they cannot exist in the real world, only in the mind as a reflection of reality. But these stories are not real. They exist only in the mind, and they are wonderful to have around.
The Power Of Language
This famous line by Edward Bulwer-Lytton represents the power of words, and the reason why creative writing is such a difficult and dangerous profession. The creative writer is able to bend the very language of a story to reflect the desires and intentions of the writer. This is why many people criticize "literature" as being pretentious and overly complex. Because the writer has control over the words, criticism can be turned into a tool to question the writer's abilities. https://www.britannica.com/biography/Edward-George-Earle-Bulwer-Lytton-1st-Baron-Lytton
However, this is where the power of the creative writer comes in. The creative writer understands, that words can be used to reflect reality independent of the author's intentions. A creative writer can use words in such a way as to allow the reader to "understand" what the writer is attempting to say. This is why, when a reader "gets" a writer, they tend to gush and praise them as the best writer ever.
They have created the "illusion", that the words say what the writer wanted them to say, even though the reader's interpretation and understanding is a reflection of the reader's own desires. Words are powerful. They can reflect reality and they can lie. It is up to the reader to split the difference between truth and fiction and understand what the writer was attempting to convey.
What Makes Creative Narrative So Powerful?
We all have a narrative in our heads about ourselves, other people and even the world around us. These stories, that we tell ourselves about our lives influence, our thoughts and beliefs ultimately determine the type of person we become.
Creative writing takes these narratives and turns them into something the reader can experience first hand. The creative writer fuses their own desires and thoughts with the story in such a way, that the reader can not help, but experience them as well.
Taken to the extreme, creative writing can literally change the reader's reality. In this way, it has the same power as religion. However, religion and creative writing have one key difference. Religion states, that the stories it tells are literally the truth. Creative writing does not claim such a thing. Creative writing uses the power of suggestion, of building up a world in the reader's mind, that is reflected on the page.
The reader has to use their own will and strength to break through the creative writing and reach the "truth." They have to do this in order to experience the same world as the characters in the story. It is through this power, that creative writing can inspire, it can move people and change them. It can cause them to rethink everything they ever believed, or inspired in them. It can make them see the world in a new light, whether that be for better or worse.
Risk Management And The Importance Of A Diversified Investment Portfolio
Speculative investing is the act of investing in securities, such as stocks, based on anticipated price movement. And while it is not a good idea to put all of your cash into a single stock, a diversified investment portfolio can provide a strong foundation to ensure a balanced risk management strategy. This is especially true for start-up founders, whose last line of defense is a healthy risk management strategy.
Having a diversified investment portfolio can contribute to your ability to weather a range of different market scenarios, from a weaker economy to a stock market crash. But without a diversified portfolio, a huge amount of risk can accumulate in a single investment.
Risk management is when you face a situation with unknown outcomes, the effort to limit the possibility of negative outcomes is necessary. Diversification is the most basic type of risk management, where the investments are not in the same investment set. Investments are usually divided into three main categories: stocks, bonds, and real estate, but in recent years cryptocurrency has become a popular form of investment. Having a diversified portfolio is the safest approach to minimize risk in relation to investments.
Why Stay Diversified?
Stock market crashes are frequent occurrences. In fact, there is a new one every few months on average. Irresponsible speculation in any one market can result in catastrophic loss. The 2008 financial crisis is a prime example. If you had invested all of your savings into the stock market, you would have lost everything. A balanced investment portfolio includes a mixture of assets.
Staying diversified can help you avoid large losses in any one market, which could otherwise wipe out your savings. However, diversification alone will not protect you from significant losses. You also need to implement risk management strategies.
One of the most common risk management strategies is diversification over time. This strategy involves dividing your investment portfolio into time-periods, such as a year, to simplify the investment decision making process. After you create these time periods, you divide your investment dollars into individual security holdings. For example, you may divide your money, that you are willing to invest into five different stocks.
The idea behind this strategy is to make the investment decision easier by breaking it down into manageable chunks. This way, you will not have to make as many decisions in a given time period, which may otherwise be overwhelming. You can then choose the best investment for your time period based on your risk tolerance and investment goals.
Diversification Is a Process, Not a Goal
Diversification is a process. It is not a goal or an end state. You must always keep in mind, that you are investing in order to make money, not to hold an investment. This is why it is not recommended to hold all of your money in the stock market.
To be honest, most people do not have the capacity or time to hold many different types of investments. If you do not have the means to hold a wide range of investments, you should at least have some in each category. The more you have, the better.
You might have a general rule, that no more, than 25% of your funds should be in the stock market. If you keep this rule, you will want to split your money in other ways. For example, you might want to have 10% in cash, 20% in bonds, 20% in real estate and 25% in other assets.
You can also use these proportions as a guideline. You don't have to follow them exactly. Consider your personal situation, risk tolerance, and investment goals. Diversification doesn't need to be limited to only three assets classes. You can have in your possession precious metals, such as silver and gold, private equity, cryptocurrency and more.
Asset Optimization
Asset optimization is a type of risk management strategy. This strategy involves buying assets, when their market value is low and selling assets for their market value, when their value is high. There are two types of assets: cash and investments.
Cash is the simplest type of asset and is money, that you have in hand to spend. Investments are assets, that hold value and can increase in value. You should buy investments, that are likely to increase in value, such as stocks in a growing company, bonds from a government, that is running a surplus or real estate in a city, that is poised to boom. Investments are riskier, than cash but can provide higher returns if the asset is a good one.
Optimization is the process of making choices to make the most out of an opportunity. While asset optimization is a risky strategy, because there is no guarantee, that you will be successful, it can be worthwhile to try. If you are able to purchase an asset for a low price and sell it for a higher price, then you have made a profit. This type of profit is not necessarily the same as trading profit.
Trading profit comes from taking advantage of price differences. You buy an asset when its value is low and sell it when its value is high. This can happen instantaneously due to market instability or over a period of time, such as months in the case of a bond. A trading strategy does not need to be complex to be risky. If you are not experienced in the field, it is better to use asset optimization to buy low and sell high, rather than taking risks immediately with your capital.
Identifying Risks
Before you can implement risk management strategies, you have to be able to identify the different types of risks, that you may face. The three main types of risk are market risk, credit risk, and operational risk.
**Market risk:** Market risk is caused by the unpredictable nature of the market. It is the risk, that the value of your investment will decrease and is influenced by factors such as liquidity, investor confidence, and political events.
**Credit risk:** Credit risk is the risk, that an issuer of debt will fail to payback the loaned money. Issuers may include governments, companies, and individuals.
**Operational risk:** Operational risk is the risk, that an organization will have operational failures, such as accidents, security breaches, and system downtimes.
Diversification reduces the risk of market and operational risk. It also reduces the risk of losses, if the market or an individual business experiences losses. The greater the diversification, the lower the risk. For example, a stock portfolio is made up of many different companies, that are spread out to minimize the risk, in case of a single company fails, the investment still could be profitable.

Personality Traits For Being Late
Have you ever noticed that it's usually when you're running late to an appointment, meeting, or event that you start thinking about what you should say when you show up. But it's much too late to start avoiding what you consider your most loved bag of phrases. Late people are often thought of as lazy people tardy for social events. Or maybe they are just unable to plan ahead for their day-to-day task. People, that are always on time for important tasks or events, but they are often late for less vital meetings or appointments. It's not something they have complete control over, so they often find themselves apologizing for being late. Most people have a tendency to be a little late, but a level of lateness may indicate a specific personality trait.
The Planner, The Avoidant And The Impulsive
Those who habitually are on time are considered to have a mean of ideal behavior. They are expected to be punctual, so to speak. Those who are habitually late, on the other hand, do not fit the mold of this behavior. Instead of thinking highly of themselves, they tend to be ashamed of their tardiness. They feel it is a weakness of some sort and this causes them to feel quite inferior. Others are not attracted to people, who feel they need to apologize all the time. They also do not gain respect from others.
While there are many types of people, habits, and other social cues, people tend to fall into one of three main groups:
**The planner:** The planner, or the high importance person, tends to be on time for everything. They plan things out in their head and do not miss a beat. They are rarely late and always have a backup plan on any occasion. This group tends to do very well in life and tend to be leaders or captains of society.
**The avoidant:** The avoidant, on the other hand, tends to be late all the time. They are simply not concerned with making good impressions and will often times show up late to meetings or events. They feel as though it isn't a big deal and don't intend on apologizing. They typically do the bare minimum and don't plan to do anything more in the future.
**The impulsive:** The last group is what I call the impulsive. These are the people who are late to the point of it being dangerous. They tend to not plan at all and instead just show up. They do have a backup plan and will often attempt to apologize. However, this is usually more of a way of them feel better about themselves. They tend to have the shortest time horizon, when it comes to planning and are probably in the most trouble, when they are late.
Other personality traits, that may accompany being late are lack of empathy and a short attention span. Being on time, on the other hand, shows signs of higher intelligence and a stronger work ethic. These are the type of people, that are going places in life. Being on time, in some ways, may make you a better person. People who are always on time tend to be more intelligent and better adjusted. They tend to do better in school, have better careers and live longer.
I'm not sure why this is, but being on time is a sign of respect. If you are on time for an appointment or meeting, it shows that you respect the time of your boss or supervisor. Being late shows disrespect. This is why being late is so dangerous. You don't realize how much it shows disrespect to your boss until it's too late. They'll usually take measures to fire or punish you as soon as possible.
Why Are People Late?
Being late has a lot of reasons. The most common ones are:
**ADHD:** Always being late for work or school has been identified as an indicator of something called ADHD (attention deficit hyperactivity disorder). Many times people don't realize, that they have this and are just labeled as busy. But really, it's just a bad habit. Being late is just not something, that you tend to do. Which would also explain why you always have so much energy when running late for an event. I guess it's nature's way of reaping the consequences.
**Traffic:** Another reason people are late is due to traffic. Nearly everyone has some sort of transportation problem and they all stem from the same root: too much traffic. More and more people are moving to the suburbs or leaving the city altogether and building new communities. This just means more cars on the road, which translates to more gridlock. There's just so many people in such a small area, that everyone is bound to get stuck in traffic on occasion. Of course, sometimes this isn't even the driver's fault. Sometimes there are accidents on the road or sometimes the weather or other conditions make it impossible to drive safely.
**Lack of planning ahead:** Lack of planning ahead is another common reason people are late. They will say they are going to be somewhere at a certain time, but fail to plan accordingly. If they have something important to do, they will usually show up late without a warning. You'll also miss out on an opportunity that may never come again. If you always plan ahead, you can take advantage of all the opportunities life offers. You may have to change plans a few times, but in the long run you will be glad you did. Of course, there are some people, who just don't give a flying flip about being on time.
Change Your Late Personality Traits
The suggestions here are things you can do on a daily basis to become a person, who is never late.
**Get up earlier:** If you need to go to school or work at a certain time, try to go to bed earlier the night before so you have enough sleep.
**Take public transportation:** If you need to go to school or work, try taking the bus or train instead of driving your car. This will reduce your chance of getting in traffic. Also, if you use public transportation, you don't have to worry about parking or having broken down car.
**Give yourself a few minutes:** If you absolutely have to leave home within a certain time, allow yourself more than that for unforeseen circumstances to arise. (Like having a flat tire in the middle of town or a bus not arriving on time.)
**Avoid stopping for snacks or anything:** If you take breaks to eat, drink water, etc. you're only prolonging the inevitable. Just keep going and don't stop.
**Get a cell phone:** If you're ever lost or get in trouble, you'll be able to call home or your friends for help.
**Stick to a schedule:** Most importantly, stick to a schedule! Don't be late!

Revolutionary Inventions, That Significantly Changed Our Lives
From the invention of the light bulb to the beginning of the space age, there have been huge advancements in technology and scientific research. Here's a look at some of these major inventions and how they changed our world.
10. The Film Cameras
The film cameras came about in the years just before the turn of the century. Before then, photographs were taken the old fashioned way, with a camera obscura. This was a dark box with a small hole in the top that you could put in a pinhole and view a scene inside. Because of the blurriness and shaky nature of these pictures, they weren't very good.
The film cameras eventually replaced the camera obscura completely. They were similar in that they used film, but they were easier and safer to use. You didn't even need daylight to make a picture with a camera. They were also much better quality. Soon, the film cameras were being used for all sorts of purposes. Mainly, taking snapshots of loved ones and important events, but there's no telling what they might end up being used for in the future.
9. The Light Bulb
The light bulb was another invention, that came out around the turn of the century. It was a very simple light source, that consisted of a glass bulb with a wire filament inside. The filament was heated with an electric wire until it glowed and gave off light. Although the bulb was simple, and not very efficient, it revolutionized everything. It allowed electricity to be used in homes, offices, and factories. It created artificial lighting that eliminated the need to spend hours in the dark. It inspired the invention of many things such as the flashlight, the flashlight bulb, the flashlight battery, and so much more.
Without electricity and the inventions it brought, human civilization might not exist the way it does today. The light bulb may not have been the most important invention, but it was an important one.
8. The Airplane
The airplane was another extremely important invention, that came out in the early twentieth century. Just as the light bulb had done before it, the airplane created an entire industry. Before the airplane, getting from one place to another required a lot of time and money. Airplanes changed all that by allowing you to travel not just across the country, but to other parts of the world as well. They made long distance travel affordable and quick.
Many different inventions were built around the creation of the airplane. There were inventions for aerial warfare, for trade, and for exploration. Without these inventions, the concept of global travel would not be as developed as it is today.
7. The Television
Television was another invention that was created in the last few decades of the twentieth century and continues to be one of the greatest inventions of all time. It changed the way in which people receive information. Before the advent of television, people relied on newspapers, books and other various forms of media to keep them up to date on what is going on in the world. With television, people are able to watch events unfold as they happen, rather than having to wait for someone else to tell them about them first.
In addition to this, television has changed the way in which children are reared. It's common for children to sit in front of a television for many hours a day. It is not uncommon for children to become completely detached from reality. Studies have shown, that children that grow up with a lot of exposure to television are more likely to have communication problems when they're older, as well as suffer from a decreased attention span and general intelligence. Although television has done a lot of good, it has also had some seriously negative effects.
6. The Typewriter
The typewriter is another invention that has had a significant impact on the way in which we live. It allowed for the creation of written works at speeds, that were impossible before its invention. Authors were among the first to reap the benefits of this invention. Today, the typewriter is mainly used for business purposes and for creating art.
5. The Telescope
The telescope was another invention, that allowed for the possibility of understanding the space around us. Before its invention, it was impossible to view anything other than our local sky. With the invention of the telescope, people were able to view much farther skies and discover many new, interesting things. It was this possibility, that motivated the invention of modern day astronomy.
4. The Microwave Oven
The microwave oven is another invention, that has revolutionized the way in which we prepare our food. It allows for the quick heating of food in a short amount of time, which is ideal for people, who hate spending half a day preparing a meal. It has also made fast food accessible to the middle class and working class.
3. The Digital Camera
Same as the film camera, the digital camera is another extremely useful invention. It allows for a record of important events to be made, allowing for the past to be understood and ones future to be planned. Photography is a very difficult art to master, as photographs cannot always be relied upon to tell the truth and must be studied in more detail. They can, however, provide important clues, when it comes to studying history. It is for this reason, that historians and other types of experts rely on photographs as one of their main sources of information.
2. The Screwdriver
The screwdriver is the second most essential invention after the tool itself; the hammer. It allows for physical work to be done, that would otherwise be extremely difficult without it. It has been used to construct buildings, to fix machinery, and to fix everything else under the Sun.
1. The Crossbow
The crossbow allowed for the first victory against overwhelming odds in the very first battle. It has been used to win every major battle in history since its invention. The crossbow is a simple weapon, that could be made by anyone. It is reliable, effective and devastating, when wielded by a skilled fighter. Without it, the history of battle would have been quite different.
This is my list, if you have anything else in mind just leave it in the comment section below.

Precognitive Dreams: Remembering For The Future
Toward the beginning of the 20th century, psychologist William James wrote about "precognitive" dreams (dreams of potential future events). Dreams can be prophetic and can help you remember for the future. You may be able to remember a precognitive dream, but the insights they offer might be a little murky. Precognitive dreams can be a helpful tool, but can also hold negative connotations. If you have a dream in which someone dies, or something bad happens, it's important to not take it literally, but to view it as a message or symbol. If, however, you have a dream that's so vivid you feel like you're living it, you might want to take a closer look. Some famous people have said, that their dreams have actually brought them to the most important and life changing realizations in their lives.
Definition Of Precognition
Many people today are likely familiar with the term "Precognition" in one way or another. If not, Precognition is defined as:
"The ability to predict the future or the present by using the power of the mind."
There are many variations of this definition, but this one in particular is probably the most common. Precognition is a little hard to pin down though and it is still not entirely certain if it is truly real. Although many experiments have been done, it has never been conclusively proven, that the human mind is able to predict the future.
However, while we may not be able to see the future, we can still affect it. Precognition is the ability to affect the future with the power of the mind, while "Psychic ability" affects the present with the power of the mind. While it would appear, that the apparent difference between these two abilities is only a matter of "power of the mind" and not really any other factor. The difference is actually much greater. Precognition and Psychic ability are in fact two different types of power that exist.
How To Find Out If You Have Precognitive Dreams
There are several types of precognition, that people experience. Your dreams could technically be described as one of these types. A dream of a future event is known as a "precognitive dream."
You have experienced a precognitive dream if:
- You had a dream about the future within a few days of an important future event.
You cannot predict when the future will occur. But you can make a prediction if you've had one of these dreams within the past few days. You can also have these dreams if you have been experiencing stressful life events, or if something really important is about to happen in your waking life. These types of dreams can be a lot more frequent.
It is possible to have a dream about something, that has already occurred, but this is rare. These dreams are not necessarily a good omen. Depending on the type of dream, they can be very accurate predictors of major events. They cannot however be accurately predicted. The future can only be changed if you make the proper changes to your life.
Most importantly, if you have a dream that can accurately predict something in the future, you must not ignore that prediction. Take it seriously and act accordingly. The more frequently you have these types of dreams, the more likely it is, that you have the ability to access information about the future. If you feel you are having these dreams frequently, it is very important, that you do not ignore them.
There are different types of precognitions, that you can have. You will no doubt have different types as you experience them.
- You will have " dreams about future events."
- You will have " nightmares."
- You will have "vivid, visual dreams."
- You will have " cryptic, symbolic dreams."
And many others types of dreams.
If you have a dream, there is a very high likelihood, that you will remember the event. There is some debate as to whether or not this is true, even if you don't remember the dream. On top of the different types of dreams, you may also have varying quality levels of the same type of dream. The commonality among all types of these dreams is that they are messages from the future.
Understand Your Precognitive Dreams
To experience a precognitive dream, you must have these dreams. It's that simple. That being the case, there is no way to actually trigger these types of dreams. Having said that, you can prepare yourself for when you do have a dream, that fits into this category.
First and foremost, you must never ignore a precognitive dream. If you do, the message will be lost and you may never receive a future vision again. Though it is unknown, why you have these precognitive dreams, it is known that these messages are important and there is a reason why you are receiving them. These dreams are probably trying to tell you something. The question is, what is the meaning and how do you stop a future disaster? The answers to these questions are unknown, but you should try to figure them out. It's important that you do.
When you have a precognitive dream, the next step is understanding it.
**Step 1:** **Remember The Dream**
For some reason, you will have a precognitive dream. The chances are very small, but it is possible that you won't remember this dream. If that is the case, then you will have no way of knowing if you've had a precognitive dream or not. Though this may be frustrating, it is important that you try your best to remember these dreams.
**Step 2:** **Interpret The Dream**
After you remember the dream, your next step is the interpretation of the dream. Though it may seem very simple, dreams are very complex and contain a lot of symbolism. This step is important for several reasons:
- It's the first step to figuring out the meaning behind the dream.
- It's important in assisting you in remembering the dream in the future.
Though it seems, that a lot of insight and importance is placed on this step, dreams are actually very simple to understand. The majority of dreams contain a very simplistic meaning. They are either a warning or one of hope and can be remembered easily. These dreams are often remembered easily, because they contain so much meaning.
The two types of dreams, that contain a more complex meaning (and therefore are usually harder to remember) are ones containing a metaphor and those with symbols.
If the dream contains a metaphor, it is important to look at the surrounding context in which you found the dream. For instance, a ladder might represent the stairs, that you are trying to climb in your walk of life.
Though it may seem confusing, metaphorical dreams are among the easiest to understand.
Symbols are much less common, but can be important to look at. An image in the dream could represent something specific or it could be representative of something abstract. For instance, a key might not be literally a key, but could mean something like a solution or a turning point. It is important to identify the symbols within the dream and try to remember them.
Though these dreams may be remembered with a little effort, most people tend to forget them due to lack of meaning. This is something, that you should try to remember though. If the dream contains a large amount of symbols, it may be best to write them all down.
**Step 3: Do Not Ignore The Dream**
This is the most important step in determining the meaning of the dream. The reason why dreams are so forgotten is because most people do not take this final step.
Once you have interpreted the dream and the symbols have been found, it is important to remember the dream. It may sound silly, but if you truly remember the dream, it will come true.

The Importance Of Quality Family Time
Believe it or not, the quality time your family spends can actually set a higher bar for life. With so much going on, it can be easy to let the details of family life fall to the wayside. You know what you should do? You should create a framework for family time, and stick to it. My parents were always making sure to spend quality time with my younger brother and I. We were little, so they found some interesting programs for us, visit an amusement park, visit the central park or the lido.
Recently, I've been reading a lot of articles about how a daily dose of quality family time goes a long way in improving a child's happiness and development, and I've found myself thinking I should do the same. I should try to make family time as much of a priority as work time. You know what would be even better? If people didn't have to commute so much. In this article I want to talk about the importance of quality family time.
The Importance Of Quality Family Time
The importance of quality family time can never be emphasized enough. Although this is a pretty bold statement, it's true. Familial duties, such as work and school, are obvious. Your mother will always be your mother, your father will always be your father, and your siblings will always be your siblings. What isn't so obvious, however, are the little things. For example, you sit on this couch and watch your family eat dinner together. You feel a sense of contentment. You grew up in a house with parents, that loved each other and that made you feel happy.
These are the little things, the moments that go unnoticed most of the time, but are important none the less. It's not just about the little moments though. All those big moments, that usually get exaggerated as well. These little moments make up the memories you have of your family. Those memories, of the good times and the bad, will be what you remember them by. It's important to make those memories, share them with the future and with each other. After all, you never know when those moments will be all you have left.
Why You Should Make Quality Family Time A Priority
You should make quality family time a priority because, chances are, you won't have it any other way. You're probably going to have to work and commute, when you go to and from work. You need to make the best of those times you do get to spend with them. Even if you do have the luxury of choosing when to work and when to spend time with your family, you should still make the effort when you can.
Make your family time as good as you can, because those are the moments, that you'll remember when you're old. While this is a rather pessimistic outlook on life, it does offer a little hope as well. The best way to make sure that you do have good family memories is to ensure, that those moments happen in the first place. If your family is happy, you'll probably be happy on some level too. That's just how it works.
Family Time Can Benefit Your Marriage
Of course, there's also the benefits, that come from a healthy marriage. Spending time with your wife or husband can help to build intimacy and trust. These are necessary components for a happy marriage. When you're with your loved one, you're less likely to feel stressed or upset about work. You're also more likely to enjoy each other's company and have a positive outlook on life in general.
Many people believe, that a good marriage can only survive if one spouse holds a job outside of the home. Although this is true to some extent, it is ultimately a two way street. It takes work by both parties to make a marriage work, and making time to spend together can go a long way. If you really love your wife or husband, you should take the initiative to make time for them.
When it comes to family time, all it requires is a bit of planning in advance. You see, it's not really realistic to think you can just jump out of bed and be ready to go every day. In fact, it can be pretty detrimental to your health. Rather than letting mundane daily routines dictate your day, plan ahead and prioritize your time with your family. You'll be glad you did.
Making Quality Family Time Happen
The first step to making quality family time happen, is realizing that you have to make it happen. If you're going to be working a normal job, you need to plan your life around it. If you always let your day be defined by the daily commute, you're never going to make the most of your time.
The next step is setting aside time every day to be with your family. This can be done on the weekends, or during the week. Sometime during the week, you should plan out the things you'll do with your family. Go out to eat, or go see a movie? Those options are there for you to choose from.
Finally, make those family times happen. If you always put yourself first, your family will eventually suffer. You don't want that, so make it a habit of planning your family time ahead of time and making it a priority. You never know how much time you'll actually have, so make the most of it.
By making family time a priority, you'll find that your bond with them will strengthen. You'll also find that your feelings of self worth will increase as well.
The Importance Of Being Present "The Moment Approach"
You've heard the saying *"the moment approach"* before. It's a pretty catchy saying, and one that's often misunderstood. *"The moment approach"* isn't about being impulsive or not planning ahead. It's about not getting lost in the moment and just doing what you can with what you have.
For example, let's say it's dinner time and your family has already eaten. You're hungry, so you grab some food from the fridge and sit down to enjoy your meal. You spend the rest of the night thinking about how you can improve your situation; you have a family, that loves and cares for you, so why are you eating cold food out of a bag.
You might be able to solve this problem in the moment, but by thinking about it for too long you start to get agitated. You lose that peaceful feeling, and end up just being miserable the entire time. To put it another way, when you're hungry, you grab food. You don't pause for a moment about whether food poisoning is a possibility or if the food has any other hidden dangers. You just eat.
The thing is, sometimes you need to make that same decision. In those moments, it's much better if you don't stop and think about everything that could happen. Sometimes, you just need to be there, be present and act.
Narcissism And Self Love: What Is The Difference?
Narcissism is a personality disorder, that causes people to become more and more absorbed in themselves and to put themselves and their desires and wants ahead of the needs of others. If you believe, that you are special and deserve everything you've got, you may suffer from narcissistic personality disorder. It's natural, though, to focus on yourself and the needs of others can sometimes get in the way of self-love and self-care. Narcissism is all about positive attention. Self-love, on the other hand, is about understanding the needs of others, even if their needs are not recognized. Acknowledging the needs of others not only helps you maintain a healthy relationship, but also helps your mental health.
Self-love and putting yourself first are not bad things, but they can be damaging, when not balanced with healthy relationships. For example, if you put yourself first every time and put everyone else second, you'll eventually suffer. The same is true if you put everyone else first and ignore your own needs. Even putting others first if it comes at the expense of your own happiness is not worth it. It is not self-love to put yourself last, in other words. Self-love can be a challenge for everyone.
Narcissism - Objectifying Relationship With One's Own Body
The main problem in dealing with the objectification of one's own body is the lack of boundaries. If you're not careful, you can find yourself doing things, that you're not comfortable doing. You can become so enamored with your body, that you lose touch with your feelings. This is a slippery slope and it's easy to find yourself in an abusive relationship with your body if you aren't careful.
As a result of objectifying one's own body, it is also common to engage in objectifying others. A woman, who is not in control of her own body can be dangerous. If a woman spends all of her time focused on the physical aspects of a man, rather than the mind, she's not likely to get too attached and will almost always be seeking out a new body to fill her needs.
The more time you spend focused on your physical body and the less time you spend thinking about the man inside of your head, the easier it is to enjoy the physical benefits of a relationship with a man, but forget about all the responsibilities, that come with it.
One of the most common problems that, come with a relationship with one's physical body is the inability to *"stay in the moment,"* to use a phrase. You can't enjoy the moment, if your attention is constantly divided. Look after yourself, especially physically. Take proper care of your mind and body.
Self-Love - Being Kind To Oneself
There are many benefits to loving yourself. Perhaps the most important is the boost you get in your motivation and confidence. You begin to see yourself as a worthwhile person and become happier with yourself. This makes it easier for you to lend a helping hand to others as well. You begin to practice healthy relationship patterns. You start learning to love and respect yourself before you can truly love and respect another.
Self-love also involves putting yourself first. Sometimes this is easier said than done, but it's important. Everyone needs a well-rounded life, that includes taking care of yourself. It's okay to go to the gym, have a massage or take time for yourself. It's okay to spend time with friends or go see a movie. It's okay to spend money on what you want. It's your body, you know what is best for it.
When you put yourself first, others will tend to put themselves second, while you'll be the one always making the sacrifices. When you love yourself, you have the right to love another. Look after yourself, physically and mentally. Make sure you are eating the right foods, getting enough rest and taking the time to relax.
Why Self-Love Is Important
Self-love is an important value, because if you don't love yourself, it's hard to love anyone else. If you don't love yourself, you are not going to make the best choices for your life. You will be more likely to act out of anger and resentment, rather than love and kindness.
If you don't take care of yourself, your self-esteem will be low and you will have a harder time trusting others. When you have low self-esteem, you are less likely to believe, that people like you and you will always be looking over your shoulder to make sure no one is out there to get you. This can make you prone to paranoia and a general dislike of most people. It can also lead to substance abuse, eating disorders, risky behavior and other problems.
If you don't take care of your mind, it will not be healthy. You will find yourself not able to focus or even retain information. This will make it harder to pass tests, do well in school or even hold a job. Having a positive outlook on life is the key to a successful self-esteem and a happy life.
How To Know When Self-Love Is Too Much
It's okay to love yourself, but not all self-love is good. If you start worshiping the ground you walk on, you will become self-important and unable to see other people's points of view. If you start treating yourself as the center of the universe and ignoring or even bullying others to get your way, your self-love is gone.
When self-love becomes an obsession, it can make you act like a spoiled child. Any type of self-love, that involves harming others or others being obliged to put you ahead of everyone else is sick and needs to be reined in before it gets worse and someone gets hurt.
When you start to hate or even fear others, because they disagree with you or don't share your views and become so unreasonable, that you cannot compromise, you have lost all sense of self-love. You are now forced to lash out against others in order to feel good about yourself. This is a sure sign, that you no longer know who you are. You need to be able to separate what you want from a desire and what you need from a physical need.

It's Called A Heart
I've seen how much pain can be alleviated simply by sharing our smiles and embracing each other. I've seen this first hand, and I've come to realize, that love really can change the world.
There are all types of love. The kind you experience while reading a good book. The motherly love you feel while being held close in your mother's arms. The romantic love you feel when you hold your sweetheart. But there's another kind of love, that one should not forget. The kind, that other people endure everyday despite its effects.
The heart is the emotional center of the body, the most important organ in all of life and it has to face all sorts of emotions, that a human could ever experience including the most beautiful feeling, love and the most terrible feeling broken heart.
If we're honest we should admit we don't really know how it feels to love and to suffer, to give and to accept love. Beyond the physical discomfort and pain of romantic relations, human hearts can't be quantified. They don't fly around the room following us around like the banner the army has at the parade; they won't spill out of our chest, if we make an incorrect move and put our hand on the wrong place. All we know is that we love and we suffer.
I was inspired to write this article by one of my favorite songs called: ***"It's Called A Heart"***
https://youtu.be/YQYs5AOXnOA
***"There's something beating here inside my body***
***And it's called a heart***
***You know how easy it is***
***To tear it apart"***
A broken heart doesn't have to be a physical object. It can be a broken spirit, that suffers in silence. We'd all like to think, that we can take all the bad things, that happens and just laugh them off. "It's just a scratch," you'd think. But what happens, when that scratch becomes a scar and that scar turns into a rent in your heart?
A scar is a mark left on the body as a result of some sort of damage or wound. A heart scar is a rent in the flesh, a wound that never quite heals. That's what happens, when the one you love leaves and never comes back.
What happens, when the world you live in becomes so brutal, that you can't take it? When you can't love, life doesn't have the same meaning it once did. We give ourselves to love and love reliably, only to have our hearts broken again and again. The pain is great and we come to the conclusion, that love simply isn't worth it. We turn away, we become loners, we isolate ourselves from society. We start to see what the world has to offer and we just take what we can get.
A broken heart is a great deceiver. It tells you that you aren't good enough, that you're ugly, and that you don't fit in somewhere. Sometimes it doesn't even let you love in the first place. If you're lucky enough, a broken heart can lead you to salvation, but not in the way you're used to. It is easy to tear a heart apart.
***"If I lend it to you***
***Will you keep it safe for me***
***I'll lend it to you***
***If you treat it tenderly"***
Many people suffered enough heartache. They don't want to go through it ever again, which is why they're going to make sure, that it doesn't happen to them again. They're going to be picky with who they give their love to and make sure, that person loves them back in equal measure.
But what happens if you don't have that sort of control over someone? What if they don't return the love you give them? Well, you can't help it if they don't know what love really feels like, so you're going to have to help them on that front.
You're going to lend your love to that person as well, but only just a little. You'll give them just enough, so that they'll know what it feels like to be loved and to keep taking that next step, they'll want more. Eventually you'll have to take back everything you gave them, but hopefully not before the process is complete.
A broken heart can be healed, but only with the right guidance. It's a risky endeavor though, you may never get that love back and the other person might become a horrible monster in the process. Take a risk, lend your heart. But don't become lonely along the way.
***"There's a sun shining in the sky***
***But that's not the reason why***
***I'm feeling warm inside***
***The answer isn't classified, it's my heart"***
There are many theories about why we feel love. One states, that the brain is the organ that experiences love. Where it exists so does love exist. Another theory states, that love is made up of a number of chemicals in the brain and that we experience these chemicals. Still another theory states, that love is a combination of all of the above.
We experience love in similar fashions to how we experience other emotions like joy, anger, and sadness. When you first fall in love, it feels pretty good. After the initial high of being in love wears off, you might experience a few negative emotions, but these should be minor.
When it comes to the more serious emotions, you're either going to feel them for someone new or you're going to feel a sense of loss for someone you once loved. It's all about balance and finding that point of equilibrium. Love can be beautiful, despite being filled with the negative.
***"Hearts could never be owned***
***Hearts only come on loan***
***If I want it back***
***I will take it back, I'll take my heart"***
If you're lucky, you'll never have to pay back the loan of your heart. If that's the case, then you'll just have to make sure, that you keep on giving it away. However, if you find yourself having to pay back a love, that wasn't really yours to give in the first place, well there are still benefits to such a scenario.
That's because you'll know, that the love you gave was returned with interest, maybe not in this lifetime, but if you keep giving it away, one day your pay back will come. So while you can't keep a broken hearted person from having another broken heart, you can give them the freedom to love again and again. Through lending your own broken heart, someone else may get help on their way to healing. Don't forget to take yours back though before too long, you don't want it to get too damaged.
***"There's a lot to be learnt***
***And you learn when you heart gets burnt"***
We all have a breaking point. While some of us may come back from that breaking point faster than others, it's going to happen. When it does, what happens? You learn. You learn, that maybe you can't handle some of the things, that were once possible. Or, maybe you can and you need to change to accommodate these things.
However it happens, you're going to stop doing something, because your heart has to take a back seat at some point. That's how you grow as a person and that's how you can become stronger, because of your experiences.
You will have regrets, but that is part of the process. You don't want to regret not having tried new things, because then you'll always be stuck in a cycle, never truly being satisfied. Instead you have to take chances and hope, that the results are positive. If they aren't, then you must move on, regardless of how it makes you feel in the moment.

The Wonders Of The Human Mind
The human mind is a powerful tool, with amazing capabilities, that can be used to our benefit or disadvantage. With that, the human mind like the human body is subject to numerous diseases and disorders, and it can be difficult to determine which is which. As such, natural and psychological well-being requires a holistic approach, including physical and mental health, to keep the brain functioning optimally.
Within the world of mathematics, the human mind, otherwise known as the brain or the nervous system, is without doubt something of a miracle. Without the brain, the existence of humans would be impossible. Without the brain, humans could not dream, laugh, love, or even exist. We all know that our mind is much more agile, than our bodies.
No matter what our body does, our mind can stretch its imagination far beyond just the physical. The mind seems to be the only organ among the five, that's made to grow, change, and evolve. And even though our mind is wired to do miraculous things, it has the power to move at the speed of light. But sometimes, it can be difficult to tap into its powers.
Our minds are nothing short of miraculous; the wonders of the human mind will always remain at the forefront of our consciousness. This is why it is so important to keep the brain and mind in top shape. Confusion, fear, negativity, and apathy can all affect our brain and leave us unable to think and solve problems with clarity.
How Our Minds Work
The human brain is truly a work of art. It has created tools and systems to help it accomplish what it needs to survive. We have made weapons to fight off attackers, and machines to help us. The brain has also made the mind, and the mind has made the world. We tend to take for granted what is one of the greatest creations of the brain: the mind.
The mind is constantly working to protect our lives. The mind likes to solve problems. Whenever something happens, your mind starts coming up with possible solutions. If you are attacked, the mind will come up with plans on how to beat or escape from your attacker.
If you have a test to take, the mind will prepare you to know the information, that will be on the test. On a daily basis, our mind is sorting through problems and dangers to come up with solutions. The brain has created a system for managing this important task.
As humans, we are able to think and communicate in amazing ways. We have a system to assign values to different situations and prioritize them. These values can be simple, such as the "risk" of doing something versus the "reward" of doing it. They can be complex, such as the "moral" or "ethical" obligations, that come up in every day life. These systems can be applied to any situation, allowing us to make decisions without even having all the information or without even thinking about it.
Our system for making decisions starts with the five senses. Using all five senses allows us to gather important information about the world around us. This is important, because the brain has a tendency to ignore information, that does not enter our field of view or sense.
The brain also tends to remember information, that is in a particular order. For this reason, our sense of sight is prioritized, since that is the way we experience the world. Our other senses work off of this, with sound taking second place, followed by touch, and finally, taste.
Using Shortcuts To Make Our Lives Easier
The brain has developed a number of shortcuts and heuristics to make life easier. Many of these shortcuts are useful and useful to the point, where they are considered "common knowledge", but there are a few heuristics, that cause problems.
The availability heuristic is a shortcut that causes us to weigh how easily something comes to mind, rather than its actual availability. For instance, if we have a scary thought about jumping off of a high place, we might consider the fact, that we were recently riding on an elevator, which made its way slowly though the same type of building. Because we were in a relatively secure environment, and since the experience was relatively recent and within our own mind, we might come to the conclusion, that elevators are safe to use. However, this is not necessarily the case.
Another heuristic is the representative heuristic. This occurs when we consider the individual that comes to mind, when we think about a certain type of person or thing. For example, if we think about a student, that is very book smart but socially inept, the student that comes to mind is probably someone we know. This is different from the stereotype, which is the mental image, that most of us have of students in our heads, regardless of if we know them or not.
Stumbling Blocks Of Our Minds
There are several things, that get in the way of our brains working the way they should. They can be anything that distracts or gets in the way of our capabilities, but they tend to fall into three main types.
**Distraction:** Distraction refers to any source of stimuli, that draws our attention away from what we are trying to focus on. This could be anything. Sounds, people, thoughts, and even external forces can all be distractions. This can be a minor annoyance, that doesn't interfere with your ability to think, or a major source of disruption.
**Internal forces:** Internal forces are those things, that get in the way of our own goals and plans. For example, our thoughts can be a major source of internal forces. Most of the time, these are things we are trying to ignore or force out of our head.
**Outside forces:** Outside forces are anything, that are not a direct threat to us, but still get in your way. Examples of this would be things like loud noise, or anything, that could cause us physical harm.
The Brain And Intelligence
The brain is the most complex and intriguing organ in the entire body. It does many things, but for now, we are only concerned with the brain's role in intelligence.
Intelligence is a complicated thing. It is not just a result of how much does the brain weigh, or the size of certain parts, or the complexity of connections between nerve cells. There are many standards used to determine intelligence, and no two people seem to agree on what the perfect definition of "intelligent" is. However, there are some general factors, that tend to be involved.
One of the main factors in intelligence is the size of the brain's neocortex. The neocortex is the part of the brain responsible for processing and understanding information. This is not the only factor, of course, but it is a factor.
Another factor, that tends to be involved is how recently the brain has formed. This is known as the "development period" and it refers to how long it takes for a brain to reach its full capabilities. The earlier a brain is developed, the more information can be dealt with. This is a major factor in determining how smart a brain is. However, the brain is not the only thing needed for intelligence, but that could be a topic for another article. Better Problem Solving: A Benefit Of The Insight Of The Mind
There are several benefits to having a better understanding of the mind. These benefits can be expanded to other areas as well, but they all revolve around using our mind to solve problems and challenges that we face in life.
Better problem solving may seem like an obvious benefit. The fact is though, problem solving is a very broad category and can include a large variety of things. The main types of problems, that can be solved with insight into the mind are those relating to intelligence, knowledge, and recovery.
**Intelligence:** Intelligence is what it says on the tin. The higher your intelligence, the greater your intelligence, and the more intelligent you are going to be in practically every area, that requires higher intelligence.
**Knowledge:** Knowledge is similar, in that the more you know, the better equipped you are to deal with any situation. This is especially important when it comes to surviving and dealing with life in general. Anything that requires you to know something can be greatly improved by just having more knowledge of it.
**Recovery:** Finally, there is recovery. The more of a "spring" a person has in their step, the more capable they are of getting up after being knocked down. This applies to physical springs as well as mental. The more resilient a person is, the better they will be able to handle hardships and keep going.

The Phycology Behind Laziness
There are many different aspects of how our minds function. One of these aspects is that sometimes when faced with a difficult task, our mind develops self-sabotage when not used. There are noticeable signs, when you are in the process of self-sabotaging yourself when faced with a difficult task: feeling tired and lazy, feeling resistance and difficulty, feeling negative and stuck, feeling overwhelmed, and feeling persecuted and stressed. Many people believe, that laziness is a mental condition, but this is not so. We all have no choice, but to work, to make effort to get things done and we can't be lazy. This is a mindset to get things done, but once you believe that you are lazy, you develop a mental block. If you believe, laziness to be a choice, then this is your choice.
You have a few choices. One of them is to deny the facts and carry on regardless, believing that you are working and working effectively. Another choice is to acknowledge the fact, that you are lazy and develop a new mindset. The third choice is to blame someone else or something else for your laziness, then work even harder. If you blame others around you, you will have a very difficult time working efficiently. This will also lead to a lot of unnecessary conflict in your life. Blaming others is a form of self-sabotage.
The fourth choice is to blame the task itself. This is the easiest choice, because in this case you can easily blame the task and the situation for being difficult. In this case, the reason why you can't make more progress on your task is because of external factors. The problem with this mindset is that you are giving yourself an excuse to stay lazy.
What Is Self-Sabotage?
Self-sabotage can be defined as the process by which a person causes harm to themselves, either temporarily or permanently, with the intention of breaking the cycle of laziness. The reason that laziness is broken is to remove barriers to success.
Self-sabotage can also be used to remove negative emotions. Whenever a negative emotional state such as anxiety is felt, the laziness that causes it is removed by self-sabotage. This can be combined with other elements such as removing barriers to success and removing negative emotions.
Self-sabotage generally occurs unconsciously. One of the main reasons for this is that laziness has become so routine for a person that they don't really think about it anymore. They don't think about how removing laziness leads to removing their ability to succeed. They just continue to self-sabotage and feel lazy on a regular basis.
Self-sabotage can occur in a variety of ways. The most common would be a person doing something that is unnecessary and takes more time that it should. This could be in the form of working a job that doesn't benefit them or people who are around wasting time. Another way would be a person engaging in social activities that are not beneficial to them.
Permanent self-sabotage can occur due to not thinking things through. This can happen with short-sighted goals such as a desire for instant comfort or a one-night stand. These things may seem like reasonable goals, but they are usually short term solutions to a long-term problem. These goals are generally not sustainable in the long run without long-term consequences.
What Causes Laziness?
The main causes of laziness are external factors. Let's say, you are tasked with writing an essay. You have several options on how to approach this. You can blame yourself for being too lazy to write the essay, and not having the necessary skills.
Or, you can focus on the external factors that are causing the difficulty. For this scenario, you could blame the writer's block, that you are experiencing on the topic. This would cause you to analyze what is actually causing the writer's block, then finding ways to get around it. You could research topics, that you could write about or how to solve the writer's block itself.
Some people are naturally gifted and can easily accomplish things without difficulty. There are also some people who have an extremely difficult time accomplishing things, even when they put in the effort. This difficulty level is usually relative to the person, as some take less effort than others to motivate. It is also relative to the person's approach. There are several different ways of accomplishing a task, and the one that works best for you needs to be used for the task.
One of the reasons why people blame others is due to a lack of knowledge of the subject. There are several reasons as to why this is the case. First, the person doesn't have any knowledge of the methods involved in achieving their goals. Second, the person does not understand how the factors affecting their goals, such as their schedule or environment. Third, the person is just spreading false information or propaganda.
People also blame others due to a lack of understanding of how the goals are achieved. It is very likely, that someone who is uninformed about how to achieve their goals will blame others in place of themselves.
The Emotional Impact On Laziness
There are several emotional factors, that cause people to either want to be or stay lazy. Whenever someone desires laziness, it is due to an emotional factor.
In order for a person to want to be lazy, they need to be feeling negative emotions. This can be related to school work, social anxiety, low morale, or lack of self-worth. If a person feels positive emotions such as interest, confidence, or enthusiasm, they will not have the desire to be lazy.
Someone who feels lazy may have a low opinion of themselves as well. This is why laziness is closely tied to low self-esteem. To combat this, a lazy person may engage in daydreaming or avoiding their problems.
Laziness is often connected to boredom. Someone who is bored may want to stay lazy, because it's easier and they're not really motivated to do anything else.
Other times, people who are lazy have a very relaxed attitude towards life. They believe, that hard work is for "weaklings" and that they should be entitled to welfare and other government assistance.
A sense of time urgency is an important factor for a person to want to be lazy. This means that they are under the impression, that they do not have enough time to achieve their goals. If a person feels, that they have enough time, they will not want to be lazy and will seek to achieve their goals as quickly as possible.
This article is my entry to @JonicaBradley's writing prompt #19: Laziness.
The Use Of Neuro Linguistic Programming (NLP)
Neuro Linguistic Programming, or NLP, is undoubtedly one of the most popular mind-set tools of the 21st century. It is an incredibly popular tool, that has helped countless people across the world. The best part of NLP is that it is easy to learn and implement. If you want to use NLP to change habits, focus on your goal, or be more successful in your personal or professional life, it won't be hard to find the time to learn the basics.
Neuro Linguistic Programming, doesn't always rely on spoken or written words. You don't need to understand the difference between conscious and unconscious to use NLP. Socially speaking human beings are individuals, who are interdependent. NLP is a tool, that can assist in making the most of the attention span of one's customers.
What Is Neuro Linguistic Programming?
People are always buying something, whether it be food, entertainment, or even other people's ideas. Neuro Linguistic Programming is a method of teaching and selling ideas. It is a way of teaching and interacting with people, that takes advantage of their natural neurology. In other words, it's a way of getting people to do what you want them to do, without having to resort to beating them over the head with a hammer.
NLP works on the human mind on an unconscious level. When you learn the basics of it, you will be able to improve your social life, or just become more successful in general. It seems simple enough and for the most part it is. The main thing you need to master is the art of 'subtlety'. If you are too obvious in your approaches, then your opportunities to use NLP will be lost. You have to be subtle in your wording and keep the context of the situation in mind.
The best way to learn the ins and outs of NLP is to practice, practice, practice. Once you master the basics of it, you will find that mastering your subject matter becomes a lot easier.
Some Of The Ways, That NLP Can Be Used
NLP can be used for good and evil, but to use it for evil I wouldn't recommend. In this section I'm going to be detailing various ways in which NLP can be used for.
**Manipulation:** The most obvious way in which you can use NLP is for the purpose of manipulation. As I said before, if you are skilled enough in NLP, you will be able to manipulate almost anyone into doing what you want them to. Whether it be for good or it depends upon the practitioner. One of the best ways in which you can manipulate someone is through their limbic system. The limbic system controls your behaviors and emotional responses. For instance, if you are really nice to them, then they will respond in kind. This is a basic "law" of the limbic system. However, not all niceness is equal. You can send mixed messages, that will confuse the person, causing them to do what you want anyway. Flatter them, insult them, scare them, anger them, etc. This works not only on the average person, but on professionals as well. It is through this that you can get someone to help you without them even realizing it. You just have to know how to manipulate them and get in their head. Of course, this can be used for good or evil purposes.
**Law Of Reciprocity:** Another way in which you can use NLP is to take advantage of the 'law of reciprocity'. This law states, that people will provide a good or service to someone, if they are provided a good or service first. You can utilize this in many ways. For instance, if someone is angry with you, you can try to make peace with that person. If someone dislikes you, you can try to gain their friendship. Basically, it's all about how you want to play the game of reciprocity. Just remember that once someone starts to reciprocate, they become dependent on the relationship. They will do anything for you out of fear, that you will stop providing. At this point they are yours for the taking, but now it's all about how you want to play that game.
**Catch And Release:** NLP can also be used for 'catch and release'. Catch and release in NLP is setting someone up, so that they will do something or think something in which you can exploit or take advantage of it. It's usually used for deception or trapping someone, but it can also be used for capture their imagination, capture their attention, capture their heart, capture their soul, capture their life, capture their future, capture their dreams, capture their goal, capture their mind, capture their success, capture their happiness, capture their... you get the point. 'Catch and release' is best utilized on people, that are 'low sensitivity'. This means, that they will act on your suggestions, even if they normally wouldn't do so. It also means, that they are easily influenced, but in a negative way. For instance, an extrovert might catch and release easily, but it won't be positive. A pessimist might catch and release easily, but it won't be positive. A pessimist, that is an extrovert is a terrifying combination, but that's the world we live in. NLP for 'catch and release' can also be used on people with low self-esteem. A low self-esteemed person will not think twice about doing something, that you ask them to do. They will do it, because they don't think they can refuse, or they are too embarrassed to say no. This can be a dangerous practice when it comes to relationships.
There are many other ways, that NLP can be used for, which I will leave for you to discover, but these should get you started.
How NLP Can Be Useful In Everyday Life
As you can see NLP is a versatile tool. In fact, it's one of the most useful tools you can have. In this section, I'm going to be going over a few of the everyday situations in which you can use NLP to help you. These are mostly for your personal use, but if you work with others, who also find themselves in these types of situations, they can greatly benefiting as well. NLP can be used in almost any situation on yourself mainly. It can be used on both the conscious and subconscious mind to help you with your goals.
Let's take motivation for instance. We all know we need motivation to do many things in life. This might be motivation to get up and go to school, to make decisions you don't want to make, or it might be motivation for a specific test. However we get it, we need it, and we all run out of it at times. That's when I go ahead and listen to motivational speakers.
This is a result of a 'gift' you have from the Universe. This gift can be anything you want it to be, but it is a product of inspiration, which comes from within yourself. NLP can be used for inspiration in all different forms. Let's take fear of heights for instance.
You fear falling from great heights, right? Does this fear disappear without any motivation to get over that fear? Of course not, so how can you get past this fear? With the use of NLP, you can practice your fears in a safe, controlled manner until you conquer them. NLP can also be used for this, to conquer a fear of yours. You would simply have to pick a situation in which you would feel comfortable using NLP to help you. Let's say breaking a height record? You could easily use NLP to conquer your fear of not only heights, but also of achieving your goal.
NLP can be used to help you achieve other things as well. It can be used to help you with confidence, it can be used to help you with school, it can be used to help you with social interaction and it can be used for everything else, that you can think of. This is just one way in which you can make yourself happier in life, there are many others.
Thank you for reading. I hope you found this article useful.
How Social Media Affects Our Daily Lives
Let's face it: We're all on social media. It's a part of our daily routine, taking up hours of our waking life and contributing to our comfort.
Take a look at your phone right now. What are you doing? What do you have open? What links are you clicking on? Those aren't necessarily productive, but they still take up your time. What about your messages? They're all from people you know, or at least think you know. You have a few messages from people you went to high school or college with, but you're certainly not keeping up with those. What about your news feeds? You see everything from cat videos to click bait to political posts, all of which are tailored specifically to you. What time is it of course, because you're constantly checking to see if it's time to go to sleep yet.
Most people spend so much time on their phones nowadays, that it has practically replaced the need for sleep. It's rare to go more than a few minutes without seeing some sort of social media activity. Whether it's Instagram, Twitter, or Facebook, you're always seeing something about what everyone else is doing. You're able to remain in constant contact with old friends and family, and you're also able to stay up to date on major events, that happen in the world around you. It's all so convenient, and it's made social media so accessible. We've created a whole new world, a world without consequences.
Social Media's Impact On Our Minds And The World
There have been a few studies on the effect, that social media has had on people. One study found, that teenagers who spent more time on social media had weaker social skills. It also showed, that these teenagers had more troubles relating to other people. This lead to less contact with real people, which can ultimately lead to a decrease in happiness.
Another study gave students a Facebook account and monitored their usage. They found, that the more time users spent on the site, the more they were inclined to post about themselves and their lives. They also found that this usage had a negative effect on well being. The more users posted, the less happy they were. This could be due to the fact, that the more people who post, the more boring and depressing the world seems.
This also causes a polarization of the world. Those who are into the same things as the user will start to dislike other people. Those who are against them will dislike the user as well. This effect can be combatted by using an anonymous account, but then you're not contributing to social media at all.
The world doesn't really need more boring people on it. The world needs more interesting people. We need to talk to each other instead of being afraid. Stop being scared of what other people think. Stop wasting your life away on a thing, that you could be using to your advantage. You are not your profile picture. You are more, than just an internet handle. You have a crazy amount of potential just waiting to be unlocked, don't let some dumb website hold you back.
Social Media Creates Emotions In Users
You're always seeing what your friends are doing. If they're laughing, then you'll probably feel good. If they're fighting, then you'll probably feel disturbed. If they're sad, then you'll probably feel for them. If they are on a holiday, that you can only dream of, then you'll probably be jealous. It's a toxic emotion machine, and we've all become addicted to it.
Sure, we get entertainment, laughs, and sometimes even useful information, but what are we really getting out of it? What has it really given us? It seems like we can only truly be contacted on these media. We can't just sit down and talk to one another anymore, not face to face. Seriously I have seen it before. People send messages to each other in the same household, when they are in separate rooms. It's really sad.
Time Consuming Unproductive Hours
I don't know about you, but I would rather spend my time doing productive things. Instead of staring at a screen, that primarily caters to entertainment. I'm not being entertained. I'm being wasted. To be honest with you I don't really care what kind of challenges people are doing or how they dance on Tik Tok. The more I think about it, the angrier I am. People think their time is so important, that they need to waste their day away on a stupid app, because they're pissed at their boyfriend/girlfriend or some other stupid reason. Sorry for my language. They could be doing so much more with their lives!
Bullying Through Social Media
It all starts with a news share or a political point of view. You see something on social media, or are just exposed to it in some other way. You see something you don't agree with, so you comment. Now this includes anything you find offensive. Religion, race, gender and other biases can result in comments. The thing is, people like to argue and they like to be offensive. You give them a reason and they'll start a flame war.
You don't really know this person that you are arguing with. You could be saying something horrible, that you believe to be true. Once the bullying starts it's easy to get lost in the comments. You can start to get angry at other people for what they say, rather than focusing on the original issue. Any criticism of a certain group of people can result in a warzone of hate.
I have seen lots of arguments really serious ones too. I don't think any of us are truly different, when it comes to raging at people on the internet. It's definitely not normal, but I think most of us have done it at one point. At first it's just words, but then it becomes hateful and others see it and it becomes bullying.
Bullying can lead to so much more, than just an argument on social media. Bullying can lead to real life consequences, which is why it's so important to stop it before it starts.
Not All Social Media Is Bad
I understand, that we can't all be on these sites all the time, but we should use them when we can. Not everything is as bad as people make it out to be. Take for example Reddit.com. This website is filled with niche communities. People can find whatever it is that they're interested in. There's even message boards and wiki's for some of the lesser known communities. Even though I'm not a part of any communities on there, I still go there to read the news sometimes.
Niche communities can be really beneficial to people, who are into specific things. Take for example Fantasy Football. You probably know someone, who is really into this sport. They have a few friends, that are in to it as well. The only thing the friends know about the person, who is really into it is their username. All of them are new to the sport and all of them are interested in it.
Wouldn't it be nice, if there was a place where they could go to learn more about it before meeting up? A place that allows people to discuss the ins and outs of the sport with each other? Wouldn't it be even better if this place had actual Fantasy Leagues? A place, where people can meet with other users ahead of time to set up a league and schedule games would be fantastic.
Now let's take our Read and Noise.Cash sites. These are social media sites after all. I have never experienced any negative things or bullying on these sites, in fact I am truly enjoying my time reading different articles, interacting with people and making new friends. So the point is, that there are useful social media sites out there, we just have to find them and use it as it should be used.
Thank you for reading!
The Evolution From Vintage To Luxury Cars
Once upon a time, the cars that are now classic took center stage. Today, it's not just vintage cars that are in the spotlight. From Bentleys to Maserati, classic cars are growing into an absolute luxury, that future generations will not be able to comprehend.
As cars have evolved from the vehicles, that Henry Ford put on the front lawn to the vehicles we see today, they have advanced in a variety of ways. From mechanical parts, to the type of vehicle, to the fuel source. Today, cars can be used as transporters to take passengers from one place to another, as the power source for a home, as a cargo tractor, as a highway interrupter, as a technology to help people drink less, as a trend to take passengers.
Modernism is always evolving, but there is no more defined series of changes, than the one that defined the cars of the 1800s to the present day. The move to more modern cars represented a change in not just the way they looked, but the way they were engineered. This article is about how they changed, and about the older cars that still survive today.
The main idea behind the car was to make travelling easier. The first cars appeared at the end of the 19th century, but until the end of World War I only localized areas were accessible by road. The car allowed for the first time the possibility of long distance travel. Of course, the first cars were very different to the cars of today. They were slow, heavy and didn't have many safety features at all. It was only after the introduction of the horseless carriage, that cars really started evolving.
The car industry took for granted for the most part, that cars would always be a part of modern society. As a result, car companies started making various changes to accommodate the needs of the driving public. Seating positions, materials, safety features, dimensions and performance all changed. The changes were so frequent, that it became difficult to recognize certain cars from different decades as they changed so much.
Cars in the modern day have evolved in a similar way. The types of cars, dimensions and performance have changed rapidly in the past few decades. The types of cars available have changed drastically, from the simple carriages of the 1800s to the ultra-lightweight, high powered sports cars of today.
Introduction To Vintage Cars
Cars have existed for over a century, but they only became widely used in the second half of the 20th century. Before the 20th century, cars (then called horseless carriages) were used on a limited basis. They were expensive and large with not many people wealthy enough to own one. In the 1800s, improvements in technology allowed for the manufacture of more affordable and smaller cars. The first car companies appeared around this time. It was not until the outbreak of World War I that cars began to appear on a large scale. Cars were used by the military to supply soldiers and supply across the globe. After the war, car use became more common place and by the 1920s, more than a quarter of households in the Western world had a car.
During the 1920s and 1930s, the car industry experienced a "baby boom". People wanted cars for all sorts of reasons such as convenience, mobility, safety and the desire to explore. The car industry responded with a series of new types of cars including the "vintage" car, the "touring" car and the "cruiser" car. The term "vintage" referred to cars, that were manufactured before 1918, "touring" cars were the cheapest cars on the market and were aimed at young couples with children and "cruiser" cars were large cars for families, friends and businesses. The 1950s saw the beginning of the end for the classic car.
Major Changes In The History Of Luxury Cars
In the 1950s, most cars were manufactured on a very basic level and had a lot of limitations. These limitations included safety, performance, safety features and car design. Many car designs from that time still survive, such as the Mini and the Volkswagen Beetle.
In the 1960s and 1970s, more and more safety features were added to cars to increase their popularity and practicality. In order to make these changes, car companies had to make drastic changes to their cars, such as removing seats and the gear stick. This led to the development of the modern day sports car and sedan.
The rise in popularity of the safety features led to a decrease in demand for performance cars. Car companies responded by developing more practical cars for families with children, such as the Ford Pinto and the Lincoln Continental. These cars went on to become some of the best selling cars in history and were the first cars to be referred to as "sportsters".
The term "luxury car" was created during this time. During the 1970s and 1980s, car companies focused heavily on safety features and luxury features, which can be seen with the Mercedes Benz 300 SL and the Cadillac Cachet. The concept of a "luxury" car was created to distinguish the more luxurious and high-end cars from other vehicles on the market.
The 1990s brought a major change in the motor industry. New safety regulations were implemented across the globe, mainly focusing on how cars are tested. This brought about many changes to the design of cars. Car companies started to add such features as anti-lock brakes, side airbags, crumple zones and seatbelts to their vehicles. At the same time, the market became flooded with cheap, mass-produced cars. To differentiate their vehicles, car companies now focused on features such as comfort, ride and design.
Dividing The Market
Despite all these changes in the market, there were still four major groups of cars.
**Performance cars:** Performance cars are vehicles that emphasize speed, handling and power.
**Sports cars:** Sport cars are high-performance cars, typically with a lower ride height, light weight and insufficient roof over the driver and passenger compartment.
**Coupes:** Coupes are a type of cars, that features a single, continuous roof. Typically coupes have a more upright seating position and a smaller trunk, than a sedan, but otherwise share many styling cues.
**Luxury cars:** Luxury cars are a wider term, that encompasses sedans, hatchbacks and minivans as well as performance, sports and coupes, but is typically synonymous with these last three.
Modern World Of Luxury Cars
This shift in car industry focused on making cars, that were both safe and luxurious. Companies such as Mercedes-Benz and Jaguar made a name for themselves by designing vehicles, that were luxurious, but also safe.
Today, luxury cars tend to be expensive, but they also tend to have better safety features and reliability. Many luxury vehicles feature a six-speed manual transmission and lightweight materials. These vehicles are designed to handle like a smaller, more luxurious sports car, but also allow for safer long-distance driving.
While sports cars tend to feature rear-mounted engines, front-wheel drive and a suspension, that all maximize grip, luxury cars may feature front or all wheel drive, independent suspensions or no suspension at all. The engines may be large, but are often of a type, that is common across many vehicles, such as an inline six-cylinder. Many luxury cars also feature hybrid versions.
Luxury cars are typically identified by their price. While some vehicles may feature luxury trim at small extra cost, cars with the highest level of luxury will cost significantly more, than regular vehicles of similar size and power. In many countries around the world, the term "supercar" is used to differentiate the most luxurious vehicles from the fastest and most powerful vehicles.
Modern supercars are typically identified by their power output, rather than their size or luxury features. A supercar may have a significantly smaller engine, than its super luxury peers, but may be identified by its V8 engine, which is significantly more powerful, than those of its less expensive competitors.
Thank you for reading. Until next time.

5 Powerful Daily Practices To Bring Out The Best In You
Every day there are hundreds of opportunities for us to give up. It could even be one small decision. Getting really good at anything takes practice. That's why the daily practice is the perfect place to start. We all know what it takes to create the life we dream of. We know what it takes to reach success, have meaningful conversations, have more energy, have more love for ourselves, be more productive, etc.
But it's easy to forget these things when our lives are filled with work, family commitments, and daily activities. These so-called un-important things we do on a daily basis. This is where we can strengthen our internal connection and reconnect with our inner greatness. Every day that you don't take a break from your normal life is a missed opportunity to shine. Every day that you put off practicing something new is a missed opportunity to improve yourself, no matter how small.
Step Away From Distractions
Distractions are everywhere. The phone, TV, computer, chats, social media, all these things can take your eyes off of what's really important in your life. One of the greatest distractions we have in our modern society is technology. It's very easy to become engulfed in this grey zone between work and play. You can easily get so lost in a video game, that you don't realize how many hours have passed. Or perhaps you find yourself on your phone so much, that you conversation skills have suffered.
These things aren't inherently bad. We all need fun. We all need play. But we mustn't let them take us away from the daily journey. Otherwise, we might find ourselves on the wrong side of the job market, or worse yet, no job at all. Technology can be your friend, if you use it the way it should be used.
Step away from the distractions. Put down the phone. Turn off the TV. Leave the computer alone. Go outside and enjoy the sunshine. Talk to real people. Realize how much you still haven't told them about yourself. Realize how little you truly know about them.
Don't get me wrong, I'm not saying ignore technology. Use it to your advantage. All of us can learn more about what we're doing and achieve more greatly by studying and practicing the arts of technology. Just don't let it consume you.
Strengthen Your Intentions
You have the ability within you to realize your dreams. It's not a question of if, but when. You just have to remember why you want to do this in the first place. Things will not always go as planned. In fact, quite the contrary is true. We all experience failure along the way. But if you don't stop, you'll never realize your dreams. To do that, you first have to accept that you'll never be perfect. You'll never live up to other's expectations. In fact, you shouldn't.
You should always try to do better. Maybe not better than someone else, but better than you did before. Being satisfied with what you have achieved is a great thing, but outperforming yourself is even greater. I'm glad I finally learned the lesson myself. But if you really want to achieve your goals, then you need to make them priorities. Don't let anything else get in the way.
You only get one chance to achieve your goals. Make it count. I can't tell you how to do it. I don't know your reasons. I don't know your life. I can't tell you how to live it. All I can say is to strengthen your intentions and by doing that, you'll be taking the first step towards making your dreams a reality.
Challenge Embarrassment
This is the part that many people struggle with. Everyone has insecurities of one kind or another. Maybe it's self-consciousness, maybe it's social anxiety, maybe it's an inferiority complex, or maybe it's a superiority complex. But these things do exist, and they're very real. They're not necessarily flaws in yourself or a weakness on your part. Everyone has them to one degree or another. What matters is how you deal with them.
In the real world, there are going to be times, where you're going to mess up. In fact, you're probably going to mess up a lot. What matters is how you deal with those moments afterwards. How do you react, when people find out something embarrassing about you? How do you react, when you say or do something stupid? How do you react, when you fail?
These are all the questions, that you should to ask yourself. Are you going to let these things bring you down or are you going to take a lesson from it and move on? You have the chance to be who you want to be. Will you take that chance or are you going to hide in the darkness? Don't be afraid to speak out. If something is wrong, speak out against it. Don't be part of the problem. Make a change to see everything better around you.
Graduating From Negativity To Optimism
If you have been struggling with self-doubt, if you have been feeling as if you're not good enough and it's all because of what others think of you, then you have to change your mindset about it. You are good enough, you are smart enough, and you are talented enough. Look at all the things you've accomplished in your life. Look at the things you've built. Look at the people you've made laugh. Look at the times you've helped someone in need.
If you see all these things, then you know you can do it. Just have to put more optimism into it. Put aside all your negativity that's been holding you back and just keep doing what you've been doing. Remind yourself of what you want to be and who you want to be. Keep pushing yourself and in time, you'll start believing it yourself. The power of confidence is a wonderful thing. With confidence, you can achieve practically anything.
Experiment With Your Limits
I have found that the limits are the limits only, until you prove them wrong. Everyone has their own limit on what they can achieve. What is the largest size house you think you could build? What is the fastest speed you could travel? What is the highest jump you could make? And once you break through those limitations, what's next?
There is no end to your potential. As long as you believe you can achieve something, you absolutely can. You probably heard ***"be yourself"*** a million times. There's a common misunderstanding, that being yourself means being pretentious or acting in a strange and outlandish way. It doesn't. Being yourself means, that you should always be yourself. Trust your instincts and act on them.
If that means standing out and being remarkable, then that's what you should do. If that means standing out and being unusual, then that's what you should do. If that means doing something no one else would do, then you should do it. If that means stepping out of your comfort zone, then you should do it.
Not everyone will understand you, and that's okay. Don't worry about being the center of attention. Not everyone wants to be the center of attention. That's their right. Just do what you want to do, because it is better to be yourself, than to try to be somebody else.
Why Many People Are Always Disappointed In Their Relationships
Many people often remark, that they have been disappointed again in their new relationship with their partner. If they have to experience disappointment over and over again, perhaps they should ask themselves, if they are to blame. How is it that they have to be disappointed in each of their partners. The answer to this question is very simple. They are looking for the right one, but they never find them, and that is precisely because, they are looking for someone, who meets their expectations in every way. They are looking for someone, who is perfect for them. They may fall in love and the relationship works for a while, but later they realize, that they haven't found the person they imagined for themselves. If they're looking for the perfect person for themselves, then they soon have to feel disillusioned, because that's not going to happen.
If they expect someone to be a certain way, and when they don't live up to their standards, they are disappointed. This is a very common and dangerous mindset. The "ideal" they have in mind, is not likely to ever exist for any of us. Even if they manage to find someone identical to what these people have in mind, they will still be flawed in some way. They will have their own set of interests and quirks, that these people won't like as well as having their own flaws.
It is possible that they will never find anyone to meet all of their expectations. Even if they did, they probably wouldn't be able to satisfy their deepest longings and desires either. So why would they bother looking? If they're not willing to accept someone for who they are, then they will just remain alone.
I'm not saying they should settle for mediocrity, but they need to realize, that their standards are extremely high. They need to lower the bar and accept the good, that is given to them. If they can do that, I can almost assure them, they will have no more disappointments in the future.
Does this mean they should lower their standards? No. They should still cherish the relationships, that they do have, but they should not set the bar that ridiculously high, because they won't find anyone, who can ever meet their needs. Instead, they should cherish the good, that they do have. Being in a relationship is difficult. There are many factors in a romantic relationship, from satisfaction to rejection to understanding.
Satisfaction In A Relationship
Satisfaction in a relationship is an interesting one. You may be satisfied in some aspects of your relationship, yet dissatisfied in others. This is common especially in long term relationships. For example, you and your significant other get along well with each other. You have a good time together and you're comfortable with one another. You're satisfied with this aspect of your relationship.
However, you don't love each other. You really don't. You would like to, but it's just not there. Perhaps you think you love your partner, but the feelings aren't as strong as they were in the past. This makes you dissatisfied since you would like to feel love. There are external factors, that could be causing this, such as the changing times or the lack of idealism, that previous generations had. But I believe at least some of the blame should be placed on yourself.
When you set the bar that high, it is impossible for anyone to meet it, except for that one person. That is the main problem. You found the one person, who could meet your impossible expectation, yet they don't feel the same way. This makes you even more despondent. But perhaps if you lowered your standards, you could find someone, who would make you feel truly satisfied. Who wouldn't want to feel that way?
Comparison In A Relationship
While setting the bar so high can be a problem, it can also be a crutch. You tend to compare every new person you meet to the one you have in mind. This is also a problem. For example, let's say you meet a person you find attractive. You have a tendency to think, but they aren't your dream man/woman. This is a silly and unreasonable thought to have.
However, rather than being happy for who you have, you continue to compare. You think how they aren't your dream man or woman. How they don't make you feel the "right" way. How you should only feel a certain way when you're with your dream man/woman. Ultimately, this leads to a vicious cycle of discontent and unhappiness. You continue to seek out potential mates, but you aren't being satisfied with any of them. Why bother trying if you're just going to feel dissatisfied with everyone?
So how do you break this cycle? Simple, you drop the unreasonable expectations that you have. Perhaps your dream man or woman doesn't even exist in this world. If they don't exist, then you can't be disappointed, when you don't find them. Matches are made up of two individuals not just for the physical aspect, but also the mental aspect.
While it's entirely possible you'll never find your other half, you shouldn't keep on the lookout for them. You should instead enjoy the people, that are in your life now. If you do that, then the right person will come along, when you're least expecting it.
Take Time To Learn Values And Expectations
The most important thing you can do to lower your stress levels with these matters is to learn what respects and values, that the person(s) that you're interested in have. Do they drink? Do they smoke? Are they a big part of any clubs or societies? Do they have a dog or a cat? Are they a tree hugger? Are they religious? Is this person liberal or conservative when it comes to politics? What are their moral and philosophical views on life?
These are all important things to know when dating. These things shouldn't be barriers to you, but the fact that you know them, shows that you're actively seeking out a relationship. You should find ways to learn more about one another. This doesn't necessarily mean you have a long conversation about the meaning of life. It can be as simple as asking a question about the other person's interests or something they enjoy doing.
By learning about one another, you're creating a foundation of trust. Trust is the most important factor in any relationship. If you're both comfortable with one another, then you'll naturally become closer. The most basic way of lowering your stress is to learn about the other person. Once you do that, the rest takes care of itself.

What Does Time Mean To You?
What does time mean to you? Does it mean becoming an amplified, digital version of yourself? Does it mean having all the time in the world, without any interruptions? Or does it mean being stuck in a time warp, that makes you feel trapped, suffocated and lost, afraid of the brevity of your time on Earth? Time in and of itself is neither good nor evil. Yet, in and of itself, time can be our best friend and we can make the most of it when we make the most of ourselves. Or time can be our worst enemy and we can let ourselves be swallowed up in our own anxiety and anxiety about the world.
The world is always changing and we can change it. The future isn't set in stone; we can mold the future to be something worthier, than what we've got going on right now. We can make the future something worth living for. Even if the only thing we have to look forward to is another day in the same old grind.
Time Is Something That Rules
Time is the master of all things. Time is the great equalizer. Time is what allows the strong to thrive and the weak to die. Time is something we have little control over. Sometimes I think the only way to deal with time is to not even deal with it. Instead, ignore it. Ignore the ticking of the clock, the passing of the clock, the slowing of the clock. Ignore its inexorable, ever-approaching tick-tock-tick-tock. Ignore time.
Instead, live in the moment. Live for today. Enjoy what you can while you can. That's what I'm trying to figure out how to do, but I don't know if I got the hang of it yet. Maybe that's why time hurts so much. Maybe time is so relentless, so cruel, that it makes even the rational feel helpless. You try to ignore it, but you can't. You can't because one time you catch yourself staring off into nothingness and you realize what you've done. But it's too late. Time has already caught up to you.
So many moments in time have already passed that can't be turned back. Once a moment has passed, it's gone forever. There is no going back. The past is gone forever. You can only live in the present moment, which is fleeting and temporal. And that's what makes time so tragic. Everything is in the past. Why we win some and lose some? Life is tough, but then again, so are we.
I'm trying to deal with this. I really am. But you know what I haven't been able to do? Forget. The past can't be forgotten, because it won't let you. It haunts you, following you like an ever-present voice, that whispers whatever you do in your ear. So what is it that I'm supposed to do? Just let the past haunt me forever? Is that what I'm supposed to do? I can't. I just can't. All I can do though is to close it and ignore it.
Time Is A Resource
Time is a resource. It's really the only resource in most cases. There is no more land, no more money, no more people, no more power. There is only time. You can't make more of it, and you can't waste it. If you're not using your time wisely, then you're going to end up like the wasting stones in your field. It may have been a nice idea to make your home in the past, but in the end you'll come up short. You'll end up like the traveler in your story. You'll just end up with nothing.
Time As Our Best Friend
Time is kind to us. It allows us to learn from our mistakes. Even when we die, time keeps on ticking. But there is a but, in order for something or someone to grow, they need time. Time is invisible, but it isn't without consequences. Without time, something will eventually stagnate and rot. Time preserves the past so that the future can keep on evolving. Without time, we would only be able to remember the past, and not be able to learn from it. We would never be able to go beyond it, and we would eventually cease to exist.
Time As Our Greatest Enemy
Time is also our greatest enemy. Time is what causes everything around us to decay and rust. It is also the cause of our inevitable fate. It is the only thing, that will ultimately end everything. Time has given us the gift of knowledge and taught us how to harness the power of the atom. It gave us machines, that could travel across the solar system and it gave us the ability to create things, such as the internet and the computer. Time gave us everything, and in exchange it took everything from us.
It is the only enemy, that we cannot see, but it is the greatest enemy we have. It is the only enemy, that we cannot fight, but it is the enemy we must fight against. It is the enemy, that is within us and without us. The clock is ticking and it doesn't care where we are, who we are, where we come from or what we are doing. It works against us. Time waits for no man.
Time Is The Master
It has the ability to destroy and create. That's why it is the master. Time is the only constant. You can build a shelter to protect you from the elements, but it can't protect you from time. Eventually the shelter will fall apart, and the elements will rain down again. You can stockpile food to feed you through the harsh winter, but without a sustainable food source, it won't matter how well you prepared. Time will still take it's toll.
You can write down the rules of time, but they will eventually be forgotten just like how the rules of gravity were forgotten. Time has it's own way of doing things. So how do you deal with time? How do you bend time to your will? You don't. You accept time for what it is. Then you make the most of your time. You make the most of your time by trying your best to understand it. And only by understanding it, can you get the upper hand over it.
7 Common Life Hardships You Might Have Experienced Before
Sometimes we truly think we’ll never experience a hardship, because we’ve always been safe and protected. That’s just not true. So sit back and think about the difficult struggles, that you and your peers have dealt with and survived. These struggles will shape your journey and be touching through it all.
One of the best ways to deal with any problems in your life is knowing what they are. If you know you are going to have a difficult time, the only positive way out is to accept it and find ways to move forward. It does not mean, that you have to be strong, just that you have to have determination. The harder you are on yourself, the better you will be in the long run, but that does not mean, that you should beat yourself up if you mess up. Be confident, but realistic.
In this article I am going to list 7 common life hardships, that you might have experienced in your life one way or another.
Lack Of Love
**Family:** This is a big one, that a lot of people face. You might be a prodigy or a genius, but none of that means a thing if you don't have the support to go with it. The vast majority of people have to rely on other people, whether it be for money, protection, or just someone to talk to. If you don't have any of those things, then life will be rough.
**Friends:** Just as important as family, but many people don't realize, how much value friends can have in their lives. Even if you aren't close to someone, it can help to have someone to speak to on difficult days.
**Love:** This is probably the hardest one out of all of them. There have been many times I've played this game and it has never been easy. Sometimes you can get lucky and find love, but it is always fleeting. A relationship is always hard work, but it's worth it when you get to spend time with the person you love. You can't forget, that they are there for you, always.
Losing A Job
This is one of the more common things, but it is still rough. When your job is taken away from you, it can really put you down. Nobody wants to hear how you're struggling, but it is important to stay positive. If you don't have anything, then you might as well have something to keep your mind occupied.
If you're really unlucky, you could lose everything. Then what will you do? This is the time where you'll need to rely on your friends and family more than ever. Your goals will change and you need to make sure, that you want to stick with this path. Because if you don't, there is no incentive to go on.
Losing Trust In People You Trusted So Much
As the saying goes, ***"Bad things happen to good people"***, this is especially true when it comes to life. If you have people in your life, that you trust and can rely on, losing that is rough. It's even worse when you have put your trust in the wrong people and it ends badly. I have never played this path, but if I did, this is obviously a hard one to have.
However, if you had people that you could lean on and trust in real life, then you would definitely be happier. The problem with that is you can't just throw away caution and do that. You need to play the odds and rely on the people, that have proven themselves to be reliable. You can't afford to be giving your trust to everyone, but there are some real opportunities that you missed out on because you were being too cautious (let's not talk about how many people you probably could have avoided losing due to being too cautious).
This hardship is probably the toughest out of the lot, mainly because it is very personal. You can't really talk about it to anyone, because no one will understand, and you'll just be taken for a ride. Just have to deal with it and the sooner the better.
Getting Rejected By Someone You Like
It's always tough being turned down, but at the same time it is a bit liberating. There's no way to prepare yourself for disappointment. It sucks and it is definitely the worst kind of hardship. You can't really go through life worrying about what you'll feel, if someone doesn't like you, you shouldn't base your life around others opinion.
However, there are some harsh realities, that people don't really talk about. Namely, that sometimes someone isn't going to like you for who you are. They might have legitimate reasons, but that doesn't make it any easier. It could be a totally one off thing, and there is nothing you can do to change their mind.
It could just be a matter of time before they aren't interested anymore, but the fear of being alone forever is going to slowly eat away at you. Because no matter how much you try to push these thoughts from your mind, they are going to be there. People might forget about you or move on from you, but never you. That is how lasting these feelings are.
The other harsh reality of this situation is that it is almost always one sided. You can't just force someone to like you, and most times if someone likes you they will at least go out with you and try to do so.
The best you can do is keep yourself busy, and not worry about it. If someone does like you, then great! There are worse things in this world. If they don't, then that's still okay. You can't be focusing on someone, who isn't interested anyway.
Getting Lost In Thought
There's a lot of things, that can happen in your life, that can cause you to be lost in thought. You might be thinking about something, that happened recently or even from your childhood. However, these memories might start to cause a flood of other memories, that you were trying to push away.
For example, let's say you have a vivid memory of your parents fighting whenever you go to visit them. As a child, this was really scary to you and you would always try to avoid such occasions. As you get older, your attempts to push this memory away fail and you start to realize it is actually causing you distress.
As it stands, you don't really know how to feel about this. Was your childhood actually all that great? Was your childhood so bad, that it caused you to fear your parents fighting? Or, are you just going crazy and this is all in your head?
In this case this would be a good time to take a break. Maybe have someone you trust talk to you. If you can't get anyone to help you, then you'll just have to take a break. Remember, when taking a break, you continue to keep these thoughts to yourself. If you feel like you can handle it, then continue on.
A New Set Of Skills To Master
As you get older, you find yourself increasingly seeking out challenges. Whether it's something academic or something physical, you always want to be one step ahead.
However, challenges can easily take a toll on your body if you're not careful. Over the years you've built up your skills to a level, that you believe you're pretty good at it. There's a lot of things you haven't tried yet though, mainly because you're a bit too busy with other things.
However, you believe that it is time to test your skills against a greater challenge. Namely, the challenge that is facing the world right now. Figuring out an answer to how to stop this destruction would be a worthy challenge for you to take on.
The problem is, you don't know where to start. You know there's more to this phenomenon than what people believe, but what? How? Will you have to roll the dice and take a chance on what you think might work? The chances of success are pretty low, but you feel like you should at least give it a go.
You can't go to anyone for help either. For one thing, most of the people you know wouldn't take your word for it. They'd probably think you were a bit crazy to be thinking about tackling such an overwhelming challenge yourself.
Feeling Lonely And Depressed
Being lonely and depressed is one of the toughest hardship in life. We are social beings, that need friends and loved ones. Just when you think that you've got your life together, something can still happen that can throw everything off track. Sometimes you can be on top of the world, and then everything can end like in a matter of hours.
As you grow older, these feelings only get worse. You start worrying about things you can't control and that only ends up pushing you deeper into the hole of depression. The older you get, the harder it is to find ways to cope with your problems.
As you are getting older, you start to think things like, ***"what is the purpose of my life now."*** This is a very dark place to be in, but it's a reality of life. You just need to keep pushing through. You can't let the voices in your head win, you have to keep your mind occupied on things, that will make you feel better.
A Brief Introduction Of How The Scientific Method Is Used And Tested
Science, the most powerful force on the planet, is now present everywhere in our lives not just in our schools, but also in our homes, workplaces, devices and communities. Modern science is an infinitely complex endeavor, that sometimes overwhelms even the most passionate scientists. But knowing what the world of science is today is the first step towards understanding what kind of modern science might look like in the future. The importance of science has only continued to grow in recent years. Those with scientific curiosity and a fundamental thirst for knowledge know the importance of scientific research and many work at understanding how the scientific method works and is tested within their own fields. However, this is not so common in the general population. For those with minimal scientific knowledge, this article provides a brief introduction on the basics of how the scientific method is used and tested.
The Scientific Hypothesis
The first step to scientific methodology is the scientific hypothesis. A scientific hypothesis is a proposed explanation for a phenomenon or set of phenomena. It is not a theory, and should not be confused with scientific models or scientific theories. A scientific theory is an explanation for all observable phenomena, that is linked to a formulation of the laws of the universe. Theories differ from scientific hypotheses in that they attempt to unify two or more pieces of evidence in order to better explain the observations in the world. This does not imply, that hypotheses are less supported; they simply differ in degree of evidence compared to a theory. For instance, the germ theory of disease is a classic example of a scientific theory, while the phlogiston theory of fire is an example of a scientific hypothesis. https://www.britannica.com/science/germ-theory https://www.britannica.com/science/phlogiston
The most general definition of a hypothesis is ***"a proposed explanation for a set of observations"***, although some consider this definition to be too broad. For instance, the hypothesis, that the world is flat would fit the definition, but not the more specific definition of the earth is round.
One common mistake, that those without a scientific background make is to confuse a hypothesis with a theory. A theory is a more specific explanation for a set of observations, than a hypothesis and often the explanations are mutually exclusive (You cannot have the theory, that the world is flat and round at the same time). For instance, the theory of evolution is a specific explanation for the origins of life, that explains the appearance and diversity of life on earth consistent with the assumption, that the laws of nature are essentially fixed.
A common misconception among the public is that a hypothesis must be supported by experimental data, before it can be accepted as a real explanation. This is a logical fallacy known as circular reasoning. The statement ***"I believe the Sun will rise tomorrow, therefore it is the case"*** is an example of circular reasoning. A better way to state the proposition, that the Sun will rise tomorrow is ***"If the Sun rises, then I will be relieved"***, which is a statement that can be supported by any amount of evidence. However, if I see that the Sun is clearly rising in the sky tomorrow, this will confirm, that I made the right decision. This evidence would support my hypothesis, that the Sun will rise. Therefore, my original statement, that I believed the Sun would rise is now supported by evidence. https://www.logicallyfallacious.com/logicalfallacies/Circular-Reasoning
Oftentimes, scientists will state hypotheses, that are not supported by data in order to rule out hypotheses, that are unlikely to be true. For instance, the statement ***"I do not think, that life exists on other planets"*** is a hypothesis that is supported by logic and cannot be tested. Therefore, scientists will state that ***"there is no conclusive evidence, that life does not exist on other planets"*** or ***"planets likely do not contain life as we know it"***, which can also be supported by evidence. The existence of these statements is evidence, that can be used to support the statement that ***"life probably does not exist on other planets"***.
By convention, a scientific hypothesis must have a "null hypothesis" and an "alternative hypothesis". The null hypothesis is the assumption, that the hypothesis is false and all observations will support this. For instance, if the null hypothesis is "X is the cause of Y", then all observations that do not support this can be said to be "not X". This is the position that scientists take as a starting point for all new hypotheses. https://www.statisticshowto.com/probability-and-statistics/null-hypothesis/ https://www.statisticshowto.com/what-is-an-alternate-hypothesis/
https://youtu.be/fI1EiPh-WsU
The alternative hypothesis is the assumption that the null hypothesis is true and all observations will therefore support this. This can be thought of as ***"If Y is the case, then X will also be the case"***. For instance, the alternate hypothesis ***"X causes Y"*** can be reformulated as ***"Y causes X"***. This reformulation is a simplification of the original, and not every hypothesis can be reformulated in such a way. Even so, one must still attempt to do so, as failing to do so can lead to false or irrelevant conclusions.
https://youtu.be/5koKb5B_YWo
In both cases, one should consider the experimental design as well as the potential sources of experimental error. A good design will make any conclusions drawn from the experiment as reliable as possible. A source of experimental error is an assumption made by the scientist, that can never be truly eliminated. For instance, the experimenter may make the assumption, that all potential sources of error are equal; however, if one of these sources is greater than the others, the experiment's results will not accurately reflect reality. https://www.simplypsychology.org/experimental-designs.html#:~:text=Experimental%20design%20refers%20to%20how,groups%2C%20and%20matched%20pairs%20designs.&text=The%20researcher%20must%20decide%20how,to%20the%20different%20experimental%20groups.
There are different types of experiments, and one should choose the type, that will be most appropriate given the nature of the hypothesis. A common experiment, that is done is a controlled experiment in which the experimenter manipulates one factor the ***"independent variable"*** while measuring another factor the ***"dependent variable"*** to see if the change in the first factor affects the second. https://www.simplypsychology.org/controlled-experiment.html#:~:text=In%20a%20controlled%20experiment%2C%20an,they%20can%20be%20objectivity%20measured.
A common question that arises is what is the purpose of this type of experiment. The purpose is to try to answer a specific question, which may be based on previous hypotheses, that have been proposed by other scientists. This experiment can either provide ***"evidence"*** in favor of the hypothesis, or ***"refute"*** the hypothesis. A finding of ***"evidence"*** supports the hypothesis, while a finding of ***"no evidence"*** refutes it.
Other types of experiments can be useful in providing more information, such as inference experiments in which one can make hypotheses and test them, or case studies in which the researcher interviews real people and uses their firsthand accounts to come to conclusions about groups or systems abstractly represented as statistical data. These experiments are less precise in their outcome and are more guides than rules. https://www.expii.com/t/scientific-inference-definition-examples-10307

Disobey Your Unwanted Thoughts, That Can Easily Turn Into Reality
Do you sometimes hear a voice in your head telling you that you're not good enough, that you're not enough, that the people you care about will never be there for you? Well, that's not true. See, sometimes those thoughts can turn into reality and they become a toxic cycle. But what if there was a way to shut your mind up and stop those thoughts from becoming a reality? You probably know the feeling you find yourself following unjustified thoughts until it becomes clear, that they are taking you down a completely different, unwanted path. Don't let your thoughts play out in your reality, whenever they lead you astray, or you lose peace of mind. You'll miss out on the good things in life, and you don't want that.
Dealing With Thoughts, That Are Not True
Who doesn't sometimes have thoughts that aren't true? And who hasn't thought a little bit about those thoughts themselves? It happens to everyone. Thinking "I'm a bad person" when you're really not. Or thinking about that one time, when you hurt someone's feelings or you feel guilty about something that isn't actually a big deal.
Thought stopping is a great way to deal with the negative thoughts, that pop up. You know the ones I'm talking about. Those thoughts, that make you feel like all of your problems are because you're a terrible person. Maybe you even think you're a threat to everyone around you. It's best to just ignore those thoughts, because they aren't true.
Not All Thoughts Are Created Equal
There are a couple of types of thoughts. The most common I find is the ones, that make you feel really terrible about yourself. It's hard to ignore those, because they're so personal and painful. I like to call these 'Low' thoughts, because they make you feel like you're worth less, than everyone else.
The other type of thought I'm talking about are the 'High' thoughts. These are the thoughts, that you have during an argument or stressful situation. For example, arguing with your parents about something so stupid, that you can't even remember what it was about. Those are the ones you should pay attention to, because they're the ones, that aren't true.
For me, the low thoughts are easier to deal with, but they do no good at all. If you pay attention to them, that's all that will matter. You'll only end up suffering even more, because you're trying to reassure yourself that they're wrong. The important thoughts are the 'High' ones. The stressful situations and arguments should be dealt with like any other: by thinking about something else and not giving in to the negative thoughts.
Be Mindful Of Your Thoughts, But Don't Be Attached To Them
Mindfulness is a great way to deal with thoughts. It's the act of being conscious about your thoughts, instead of letting them rule your mind. It's best to be mindful in the present moment, but that isn't always easy. But you don't have to let your thoughts always control your mind. You can learn to let them go, no matter how bad they are.
It's good to really be able to recognize the difference between your thoughts and reality, because some thoughts are worse than others. For example, "A lot of people out there are my enemy" is a terrible thought. "I'm ugly" is a much worse thought. Now, "Everyone I meet is judging me" isn't really a thought, it's an excuse that people use to explain their behavior. It's what you make of it.
Sometimes other people's thoughts about you can actually be worse, than your own. So, when trying to be mindful, don't pay attention to what you assume others are thinking about you. If you can notice what others are actually doing and saying to you and why, than you'll be able to move past some of the bad thoughts in your own mind sooner.
Don't Let The Bad Thoughts Destroy Your Peace Of Mind
Once you start paying attention to the thoughts in your mind, you might start getting overwhelmed. It's important not to let those bad thoughts take over completely, because they won't do you any good. In fact, all those thoughts are just poison. One bad thought can mess with your mind and make it harder to notice other, good thoughts.
One thought doesn't make the world bad. One thought doesn't make you a bad person. You might think about things that would make you angry, but that doesn't mean you're a bad person. It doesn't mean there isn't good in the world. You're just trying to do what's best for yourself.
It's okay if your thoughts sometimes make you cry. It's okay if you think about the past and how you've lost people. It's okay if you sometimes feel lost and alone. It's okay if your brain sometimes feels like it's going to explode. Your thoughts aren't bad. Your feelings aren't bad. Your problems aren't bad. They're just a sign, that you're alive and you're growing. Don't try to hold them in. It'll just make things worse in the end.
Your problems will never go away. You can either make them better or give in to them. You can choose to let the thoughts that plague you control your life, or you can choose to change your mindset.
Choose To Make Your Thoughts Better
With enough practice, you'll start to notice the difference in your mindset. You'll be able to choose which thoughts you pay attention to, and which ones you let go. You'll find that the bad thoughts will get weaker and weaker each day, while the good thoughts will get stronger and stronger. That's how your mind works. You have to train it like a muscle. The bad ones will disappear eventually, but the good ones will stay. You'll be able to rely on them when the bad ones return. Your life is what you make of it. Take control of your thoughts. Take control of your life. That's what mindfulness is to me.

How Your Attitude Determine Your Life And Your Future
What is your attitude? How do you act? What are your beliefs? Each person has their own unique attitude, but there are some universal truths. We take our attitude for granted often. Unless, our attitudes are the result of our own personal growth, they have not changed much in the past. We might have had a few setbacks, but overall, we maintain a certain perspective.
Attitude is much more, than what you think to say to your friends or make fun of on social media. Your attitude drives what you put your energy into. It determines how much progress you make. It can deter or encourage you. It's a big part of the way you operate and the way you think. Your attitude is what keeps you going and what holds you back from your greatness. It defines you and all of the people around you.
We often argue, that our external world has a huge impact on our success and happiness. We also argue, that if we change our external world, we can change our internal world as well. The one thing we don't argue about as much as we could is if adjusting your attitude about your life and your future can achieve the same results.
How Attitude Effects Life
Your life to a large degree is shaped by your attitude. Your attitude either pushes you to reach for the moon or holds you back from even attempting. Each day, the choices you make will bring you closer to your goals or move you further away. This is a simple reality, that does not change.
This concept of attitude is not one, that most people understand. Some don't even believe it, but books and real life experience have disproved this viewpoint. If you don't believe it, try to change your attitude in an area, that you are proficient. For example, if you are not a people person, it may be difficult to change that mindset into one of confidence.
The effects of how your attitude changes your life is huge. It is why people become so cynical and bitter with age. However, the sky is not the limit. There is nothing stopping you from attaining whatever dreams and goals you may have. It starts with believing that you can do it, then taking the first step.
Your attitude is not something, that is beyond your control, but you must choose to use it. This means making decisions every day about what you will do. You can choose to let your situation or environment dictate your decisions or you can choose to take control. This may seem like a small thing, but in the long run it makes a big difference.
The way you approach and accept reality is also a choice that you make. You can decide to see the glass as half full and the world as a good place or you can decide to see the glass as half empty and the world as a bad place. Your attitude will shape how you see thing and how you approach life's problems. Your attitude can be molded into something, that will push you to the moon. It all starts with how you approach reality.
Fight or Flight
Your attitude has two primary aspects, the fight and the flight aspects. They are very simple in nature, but extremely complex in their interactions. Most of your energy goes into these two aspects. The fight aspect represents your desire for order and structure, while the flight aspect represents your instinct for survival.
Your fight aspect gives you a desire to take control over your life. This desire usually manifests in the form of purpose and direction. The fight aspect helps you seek out problems and attempt to solve them. This isn't always in your best interest, but it helps you survive in this crazy world.
Your flight aspect is your instinct of self-preservation. It's activated in dangerous or life threatening situations. This is the aspect, that allows you to fight or flee. Fleeing may seem like the easy way out, but it's not. The flight instinct gives you the opportunity to learn. Whether or not you learn from your mistakes is another story.
The fight aspect of your attitude is controllable, but the flight aspect is not. To an extent, you can decide how much fear you have in your heart, when situations arise. The problem with this approach is that your instincts are superior to any amount of discipline or willpower you can muster.
The Links Between Your Attitude And Your Life
Like I said, your attitude affects your life. Most people don't pay attention to it or even think about it, but it's all around them. It's what makes them able to laugh in the face of adversity or breaking bad news to a loved one.
Take a good look at your life. What do you have to complain about? You have a roof over your head, you have food on your table and you have people, who care about you. Is it a good life? No. Is it a fairytale-like life? No. Are you going to whine about it? No.
How you choose to see your situation is the key to your attitude. You have everything that you could ever want or need. Your attitude can shape how you see your predicament.
You're stuck in an existence that you don't want. This means you have two choices. You can either let this situation beat you down or you can find a way to change your situation for the better.
Most people don't want to change anything. They like their current set up and they're going to stay that way. This is obviously the easier choice, but it can lead to depressing situations in their lives.
The second group of people are the people, who want to change their situation, but don't know how. This is a dangerous mindset. If you're in this mindset, you're going to be frustrated a lot, because you won't understand why you can't accomplish your goals.
You'll also be frustrated by people who are more educated or skilled in a certain area, than you and they will (probably) get further, than you in life. You have to create links between your attitude and your life and those links are discipline, hard work and knowledge.
**Discipline**: You have to make the decision to put in the work. This may mean doing boring or tedious tasks, that you don't want to do, but someone else needs done. This may also mean making major changes in your everyday life.
**Hard work**: After you've decided to put in the discipline to reach your goals, you're going to have to work hard. You can't be lazy and expect to get anywhere in life. You can't be frivolous and expect to get ahead. You need to put in the extra time when no one is watching.
**Knowledge**: You can't get anywhere without having some sort of knowledge. This may come natural to you or you have to study. It may be school-related or even something you've found out on your own. The knowledge is going to be key to your success.
Those are the three factors, that are going to shape your life and your attitude. That's why you have to work hard at everything. You can't take it easy. You have to put in the work and understand, that good things take time.
Some Of The Many Famous Cuisines Around The World
There are many famous cuisines around the world, that worth to try. I am going to list out popular cuisines from around the world, that every foodie must go for. Whether you are a foodie or a casual restaurateur, you should really try all these cuisines at the nearest location to you. All these cuisines have a special story to offer to their visitors, and have a fascinating culture behind them. These cuisines are not only popular, but they have a dedicated following as well.
So, do you want to know about those cuisines?
Fine, I will begin with Spanish Food.
The Spanish food is fast becoming popular all over the world, mainly due to the large Spanish population in Latin America. The term "Spanish Food" is a blanket term for the different regional varieties of Spanish cooking. There is no unified Spanish cuisine, but rather a large number of varying regional Spanish cooking traditions.
Spanish foods tend to be relatively simple and not too elaborate. They are often made with pantry staples, rather than fancy ingredients. Spanish foods are known to be very hearty and are usually eaten as three course meals with wine or beer after each course.
**Spanish food includes:**
**Jamón** **(Ham):** This is probably the best known Spanish food. It is a cured ham which is usually served as a first course with bread and wine. It is usually served in the region of the north, where the climate is cold enough for it to be preserved through salting and drying.
**Paella**: This is a special kind of dish from the region of Valencia. It is a rich dish made with many ingredients. Usually it consists of chicken (including its bones and skin), beef (including its bones and skin), shellfish (such as shrimp, clams and squid), peas, beans, and various vegetables such as carrots, onions and celery. Other ingredients can be added, such as cut up hard- boiled eggs, sausages, and cut up fried chicken.
**Arroz (Rice):** This is the national dish of Spain. It is a thick rice stew which is eaten with salt. It can be made with chicken, duck, or any other kind of meat. It is often eaten cold in the winter.
**Almond Tapioca Pudding**: This is a traditional Spanish dessert, which is made from tapioca pearls cooked in sugar and almond milk. It is served cold.

Indian food has become very popular in recent years, with the large Indian community in the United States being a major driver behind this.
There are many different kinds of Indian food, all of which are very popular. The different kinds of food are largely based on the different kinds of ingredients which are grown in the different parts of India.
**The most common ingredients in Indian food are:**
**Basmati Rice**: This is a kind of fragrant kind of long grain rice, which comes from the foothills of the Himalayas. It is particularly long and thin, and is the main ingredient in many different kinds of Indian curries.
**Moong Dal:** This is a split yellow lentil, which comes from the Indian state of West Bengal. It is used in several different kinds of Indian dishes, such as Chana masala and Daal.
**Aloo** **(Potato):** These large white potatoes are boiled, peeled and cubed, and then used frequently in various curries and meals.
**Dry Fruits**: These are fruits, which are sold in dry form, such as coconut, almonds, cashews, raisins, and pistachios. They are frequently used to make desserts and sweet dishes.
**Ghee** **(Clarified Butter):** This is a type of fat, which is obtained from cow's milk. It is used in many Indian dishes for frying and cooking.
Thai Food
https://vegecravings.com/moong-dal-recipe/
Thai food has experienced a recent surge in popularity, and for good reason: it's one of the more unique and delicious cuisines in the world. While Thai food has been around for centuries, it is only in the past few decades that Westerners have rediscovered this ancient cuisine.
The main ingredients in Thai food are fresh herbs, fresh vegetables, fish sauce, chili peppers, lime juice, dry chili flakes, and dried shrimp.
**Other ingredients include:**
**Jasmine Rice:** This is a long-grained rice which is popular in Thailand, though it is also popular in other countries with a significant Thai population such as the United States. Jasmine rice is important in Thai cooking because it absorbs the sauces and flavors, that are being cooked with very well.
**Tofu:** This is a meat alternative made from soybeans. It is used in many curries and stir fries.
**Tamarind**: This is a sour fruit which is found in many different varieties. It is primarily used in Thai cooking to impart a sour flavor.
**Fresh Veggies**: A wide variety of fresh vegetables are used in Thai cooking. Many of these are used in stir fries, but some are only used in specific kinds of curries or soups.
**Fish Sauce:** This is a salt-like condiment made from fermented fish. Its main use in Thai cooking is to add depth of flavor to curries and other dishes.
Hungarian Food
https://vocal.media/feast/delicious-goulash
Hungarian food is the traditional food of the Huns, the ancient nomadic warriors who once roamed vast areas of Central Europe. After the fall of the ancient Hungarian empire, the ancient Huns were assimilated by other nations, with their ancient food ways being forgotten. It wasn't until the 19th century, when the Huns were finally "rediscovered" by the Austrian government. The Huns, being the nomadic warriors that they were, began to move into the fertile lands of the former Austrian Empire, opening small businesses and farms. Their ancient ways of farming and livestock raising ultimately helped shape the modern-day agriculture in Austria, especially in the area of meat production, which is dominant in the Austrian diet.
Despite the fact, that the modern Huns are relatively assimilated into other nations, their ancient food ways still exist. One of these ways is the preservation of meats using raw salt, which is a process still used in modern-day Hungarian cookery. This process involves immersing meats, fish, or other foods in large quantities of salt for extended periods of times (up to several days), which enables the cook to keep the food (especially fish and meats) alive and prevents it from going bad.
Another ancient food way, that is still common in modern-day Hungarian cooking is that of feeding infants and small children with Adults' food. This is a very old Hun custom, which stems from the ancient warrior culture of the Huns.
**Hungarian food includes:**
**Gulyás Soup:** This is a thick beef soup, that is usually eaten with small dumplings. It is sometimes known as "Hunter's Soup", since it is a common food for hunters and outdoorspeople to consume, when foraging in the wilderness.
**Pörkölt** **(Stewed Lamb, Beef, Chicken, Pork):** These meats are stewed and sometimes topped with soured cream especially the chicken stew. Like the rest of European cuisine, this type of food is lower in fat and calories, than typical American fare, but a little goes a long way in terms of taste.
**Lángos (Deep-Fried Dough):** This is a type of deep-fried dough, that is popular in Hungarian cuisine. It can be topped with cheese, sour cream, garlic or other toppings.
**Stuffed Cabbage:** This is a common Central European dish, which involves cabbage being stuffed with minced pork and then cooked. Along with the meat, rice often cooked inside the cabbage leaves as well. This dish is often made for Christmas alongside with fisherman's soup.
**Stuffed Paprika:** This is another common dish in Hungary. Very similar to stuffed cabbage in terms of the stuffing. It is made with tomato sauce.
Although the cuisine of the former Austro-Hungarian Empire has its roots in ancient regional cooking, it was the influx of immigrants from other regions, that gave rise to the great variety of dishes we know today.

Literacy Therapy: A Wonderful Combination Of Literature And Psychology
In the twenty-first century, a growing body of literature is combining education and literature in a cohesive way. With a growing need for a skilled workforce, literacy is a skill that is going to be constantly in high demand. Literacy is the umbrella term for the skills required to read, write, speak, listen, spell and use numeracy. Literacy includes basic reading skills, higher order reading skills, written language, and oral language. There are many psychological principles, that are used in literacy therapy. These help the reader understand the author's message, experience the story, learn new information, or apply information they already know.
Literacy therapy teaches the traits of good reading comprehension. One of these traits is the ability to make inferences. An inference is a line of reasoning, that you draw from evidence that is given. In literacy therapy, the reader is often asked to make a lot of inferences. Helping learners make the leap from the literal to the figurative and from the general to the specific is another important skill. This trait is closely related to making analogies. An analogy is a comparison made between two things, that are not like each other. For literacy therapy, this often involves comparisons between reading and other skills.
Defining Literacy Therapy
Literacy therapy is the practice of using literature or the power of the written word to help individuals or groups of individuals. The term can be used to refer to both individual work as well as group interventions.
Literacy therapy has been used to help individuals with a huge variety of conditions and problems ranging from dyslexia to post-traumatic stress disorder. It has also been used to help groups of people, such as prison inmates or children in distress.
One of the most common uses of literacy therapy is to help dyslexic individuals improve their reading skills. Dyslexia is a difficulty with language, that affects the way the brain processes words. People with dyslexia have trouble reading and writing. They also have other language problems, such as problems expressing themselves, problems understanding what other people say and problems understanding what they read.
Literacy therapy for dyslexia typically involves the use of literacy-based interventions. These interventions are designed to improve reading comprehension, word recognition, fluency and writing skills. Intervention techniques can be delivered one-on-one or in a group.
The Power Of Literature
https://quotes.pub/q/literature-has-the-power-to-change-lives-minds-and-hearts-584610
Literature has the ability to connect with people on an emotional level. It can be able to provide that "escape" that is so important during difficult times. People can and often do, identify with characters in stories. This identification provides people with a sense of connection to the story. This connection to the story, in turn, creates a deeper connection with the reader. The reader connects with the characters, for example, they can begin to feel what the characters are feeling. They get to take a brief trip inside the story. This helps people cope with their problems.
One way that people cope is by immersing themselves in the story. This is sometimes referred to as "play-pretending". It is a way of escaping the problems of the world. In play-pretending, the reader imagines, that they are the main character of the story. These pretend games often become more like reality as the reader forgets about the real world entirely. This ability to escape reality is one of the reasons why people choose to read.
How Does Literature Work With People Emotionally?
People often experience a wide range of emotions while reading. The reason for this is that reading is an active process. The reader does not sit there and absorb the words on the page. Reading requires the reader to do the work, which is a little like doing a task. When reading, the reader must apply their own intelligence and comprehension skills to the material. This requires concentration and a willingness to do the work.
**Some of the emotions. that people experience while reading include:**
**Interest:** The reader is fascinated or intrigued by the topic.
**Smiling:** The reader is enjoying the reading experience and displays a smile on their face.
**Shaking Their Head:** The reader expresses disagreement with the idea, person, or concept being presented.
**Sighing:** The reader expresses a deep feeling of emotion.
**Sorrow:** The reader feels deep sadness, depression, or despair.
**Surprise:** The reader displays a brief moment of shock or surprise.
**Trust:** The reader trusts, that the information is correct, trustworthy, or valid.
After people experience an emotion, they often have a response as well. These responses are often related to the emotion they just experienced. For example, if people are bored while reading, some of their responses might be related to boredom. People might yawn, look around, or start dozing off.
How Can Literacy Therapy Help?
Literacy therapy can help people with a wide variety of problems and conditions. It is not a replacement for medical treatment, psychiatric treatment, or special education. Before literacy therapy can be recommended, it must be determined that there is indeed a problem, that needs to be fixed. For example, if an individual has no major problems other than being forgetful in their day-to-day life, it may not be necessary to focus on their reading.
If an individual is having a negative reaction to the materials they are reading, such as an increase in nightmares or flashbacks, then it may be necessary to stop reading that material until it has had time to expire. In some cases, literacy therapy can make a negative situation worse. This is more likely to happen with those with a severe learning disability or a history of abuse. In these cases, it is important that the literacy therapy is a positive experience.
Not Everyone Is Addicted To Series, Who Watch Them
We could be wrong, but sometimes you're not quite sure, what someone means when they say they're addicted to something. There are certain things that people are said to be addicted to, series being one of them. But, what does that even mean? Game of Thrones has been a smash hit from the moment it first aired, with its razor-sharp scripts, compelling storylines, and gorgeously realized costuming and production design, that had us all staring at our screens like we were on some sort of medieval opium rush.
Fans of the series crave the carefully crafted friendships, the fast-paced scenarios, and the always-sparkling romantic chemistry between their favorite characters. Whether they're new to the show or have been around since the beginning, they are often hooked. Series are a popular way for TV viewers to show their love for television shows. Some viewers are addicted to them, but others are content with just following the plot. These are the types of shows, that are watched by people who are not addicted to series.
What Do We Mean By Saying Series Addiction?
https://commons.wikimedia.org/wiki/File:TV_highquality.jpg
People who are addicted to series have a deep seeded obsession with a TV show. They will read articles, forums and comment sections just to keep up on the latest information. They are constantly seeking out new things about the show, consuming any media that has to do with it, or just obsessively thinking about it. All aspects of their life are often intertwined with the show. When watching the show, they get high off of the relationships and drama that unfold. When it's not on, they get negative, tormented vibes.
There is a certain joy, that addicts can get from a TV show. Some addicts are happy just getting the high, that the show gives them, while others need to consume the material constantly in order to get the same effect. Addicts are always searching for more information about their addiction. Whether it's reading the series bible or watching extended cut versions of the show on DVD, addicts will do whatever it takes to keep getting that high.
However not everyone is an addict who loves TV series. Some folks just like watching TV series for the escapism, that they offer. Some folks don't have the time to become deeply invested in TV shows. With a series, you can binge watch an entire show in one day, then set it down for a week before jumping back into the action. Everyone has their own pace, that they prefer when watching TV shows.
Some addicts love the intricate character studies that go into series. It's not enough for them to know about a TV show, they want to know every last detail about the characters involved. They want to know what motivates them, how they feel about each other, and how they end up solving their problems. These are the types of addicts, that will write extensively about characters in their forums or on websites. Other times, they just want to discuss the most obscure details about the show with other fans.
Addicts can also become filling a certain void in their lives. Some people get addicted to the madness, that is forums and online discussions. While others get addicted to the shows themselves, and end up manipulating their lives around them.
How TV Series Can Affect You?
Just like drugs, series can alter your mood, watching too much TV can mess with your head. While watching TV is a wonderful thing, it is important to remember that you still have real problems in the real world. Getting wrapped up in fictional characters can be fun, but can also lead you down a dark path. Once you start thinking about what would happen if this character did this instead of that, you're no longer thinking clearly. You can easily get so caught up in fiction, that you forget that the rest of the world exists, let alone have problems in it.
You can still enjoy TV series without getting addicted. It may take you a few weeks to get into the swing of things, but after a couple of episodes you'll be in TV-induced bliss just like everyone else. Maybe you shouldn't become addicted to TV series. It can be a drug, good or bad, and it's something you need to decide if you really want to go down that road or not.
Is TV Addiction A Bad Thing?
https://www.pxfuel.com/en/free-photo-jridf
While watching TV can be a wonderful thing, it may also be bad for you. Some shows are more "good for you" than others. Certain types of shows can put you in a better mood, make you laugh, or just give you something to escape for a little while. At the same time though, some shows are just simply bad for you. The vast amount of violence on TV can affect your mood or how you act. The stereotypes that some shows embrace can also cause problems in some cases.
Sadly, some people are just bad for you. You know the type. It can be any kind of person really. Whether they're violent, manipulative, lazy, or just down right selfish, these kinds of people are bad for you. They'll mess up your good mood, or even worse, cause you to become one of these people. This is why it's always best to enjoy TV in moderation. You can have your fill of escapism, just don't let it go to your head.
Do You Need To Binge Watch TV Shows?
You could just watch the latest episode of whatever show you like whenever it airs, but that may not be the healthiest way to watch TV. If you're seriously into a show, there are some benefits to binging watch the entire first run of the show.
For example: If you're watching Game of Thrones and really enjoying it, but you also know that's a show with a lot of violence and graphic content, it may not be the best idea to binge watch it in one day. Sure, you're probably in a fit state of mind to watch it, but the time required to watch an entire series can be unhealthy if you're not in it for the long haul. So maybe, if you wait a month or two to binge watch it, it'll be easier to go through.
Alternatively, if you're a person, that just wants to enjoy a good show without being emotionally invested in it, then binging the first season of a show might be for you. You can just watch a few episodes here and there as you have the time to do so. Then when you're done, you can either wait a month or two before binging the second season, or you can just stop watching altogether. Whatever you decide, don't feel bad about it. Everyone's different, and there's no "one size fits all" approach to watching TV.
Building Wealth: What To Focus On The Most
Building wealth begins with a solid foundation and that foundation begins with understanding how money works and how it can be responsibly managed. If you want to build solid wealth, there are two building blocks need to be applied to do so. The first one is, that you are constantly making money, the second one is that you are constantly saving money.
The era of social and economic transitions is upon us and it means, that we must take a new approach. At least one thing has not changed: people must earn and accumulate wealth to survive and so create opportunities for happiness and mobility for their loved ones. One of the most important skills an individual can possess for this era is investing.
Investing is an opportunity for individuals to be knowledgeable and disciplined in accumulating, managing, and parting with their savings. Following hard work and wise investing, individuals can build financial security and financially stable future for themselves and their families. An individual's financial security is a basic need for survival and happiness.
In the last decades the global economy saw a phase of tremendous growth which brought tremendous wealth to many people around the world. The rapid growth in the world's population and rising standard of living were accompanied by a rapid growth in the global economy. This rapid growth in the global economy was mainly fueled by the rise in the financial markets and capital investment.
However the booming stages of the economy have come to a close and a new era is upon us. The era of global financial and economic crisis. It is a period where major economical powers are experiencing a financial slump, and it will most likely continue until a new order is established. A new era of responsibility and discipline is needed for all in these trying times.
In this article you will learn how to:
**- Recognize and avoid potentially dangerous financial situations.**
**- Make wise and informed decisions when investing.**
**- Create a balanced investment portfolio.**
**- Establish financial goals.**

Recognize And Avoid Potentially Dangerous Financial Situations
There are always changes to be aware of that can affect your personal and financial future. These can be things you can easily control or that you cannot control. The ability to recognize the opportunities and risks you face is a valuable skill, that will increase your chances of success in life.
The risks you need to be aware of are the ones, that could happen over a period of time. This could be a long-term problem or a problem, that happens abruptly. Take, for example, a company that fails in an industry and the stock market takes a dive. If you invested in such a company and it begins to fail, you could lose all of your money immediately.
The other kind of risk is an instantaneous risk. This could be something like illness, injury, natural disaster, or war. An illness or injury could occur, that would prevent you from working or earn money. A natural disaster could hit your city or region causing you severe property damage or even complete destruction. In all these cases, you need to react immediately and take steps to prevent a permanent loss of income.
There are other risks, that are neither one of these. These are risks that cannot be easily quantified. An increase in costs due to living in a more expensive area, for example. Bad investments could also do this, as well as many others things. The important thing is to be aware of all the risks and to make a plan for how you would deal with them.
Make Wise And Informed Decisions When Investing
There are a number of decisions, that need to be made when it comes to investing. First is the decision on what you're going to invest in. This can be as simple as a savings account or as complex as a company investment. The second decision is the frequency of investment. This would be daily, weekly, monthly, or yearly. This third decision is the amount you decide to invest. The fourth and final decision is the type of investment you decide upon. There are online investments, that provide great returns with low risk, there are simple stocks, that can be bought and held to provide profit, there are mutual funds, that contain numerous types of securities that could perform in different ways and much more.
When making these decisions, make sure that they fit your personal play style. If you don't know what that is, ask yourself the following questions:
**How Much Risk Are You Willing To Take?**
Do you prefer taking risks with your money or do you prefer to keep it safe? A common risk taker is one, who loves to take risks with their money. This person would typically buy high risk high reward investments. They prefer to invest in companies, that offer high potential profit with low potential for loss. These types of investments would be ones, that offer smaller amounts with the chance of great profits on a large payout.
A risk adverse person would typically keep their money in safe accounts like savings bonds or CD's. They like to keep their investment returns low and steady. They prefer to invest in companies, that have a history of success, have a good track record, and are solid. These types of companies would be ones, that have been around for a long time, have a large customer base, provide goods and services that everyone needs and wants, or are reliable.
**Keep In Mind: While it is true, that taking risks can lead to great success, it can also lead to great loss.**
**How Much Do You Enjoy Investing?**
Some people are interested in investing, while others are not. If you're not interested in investing, then it's not going to be all that fun for you. You can't force yourself to enjoy something that you don't.
**How Much Do You Enjoy The Specific Activity Of Investment?**
There are a lot of decisions to make and a lot of things can go wrong. You might hate investing in the stock market, but if you enjoy trading on the stock market, you might still enjoy doing it. If you aren't interested in the activity of investing, then don't do it. Just like not everyone enjoys playing poker, some people would rather not consider it an option.
Create A Balanced Investment Portfolio
https://www.quoteinspector.com/images/investing/pie-chart-stock-ticker/
Balancing your investment portfolio is important. An investment portfolio should contain a variety of different types of investment. If you have a large amount of money, that you're going to spend in a year or two, then you should have a large amount of money in short term investments. These investments should be enough to cover the expenses you expect for that upcoming year or two.
On the other hand, you should have some of your investment money in long term investments. This would typically be in the form of stocks in companies you have founded or have an interest in, or in bonds in companies you are considering starting a business with. These long term holdings will provide you with profit should you need it, but more importantly they will grow your money so that you won't need to work as much in the future. The goal is to have a well balanced investment portfolio.
Establish Financial Goals
Many people never establish any sort of long term financial goals. If you don't have any long term goals, when it comes to your money, then you're going to be in trouble in the future. You need to establish your financial goals for yourself.
Your goals might be as simple as "I want enough money, so that I don't have to worry about money problems in the future." or they might be more elaborate such as, "I want a house and a car." or "I want to have a six figure by the time I'm 40." Whatever your personal goals are, make sure you write them down and achieve them.

Finding The Balance Between Knowledge, Progress And Power
Most of us want to get better at something, but sometimes we get stuck in the same place for an extended period of time without any tangible progress. Sometimes the best way to get unstuck is to find some new information. Sometimes though, new information is the best way to become stagnant. It's important to balance learning and progress.
This blog is about the balance between learning progress and power. It's about us trying to learn. It's about doing something great for not for greed, but for the betterment of the human condition, which is the only reason I'm interested in learning in general. It's about trying to do something good and maybe, just maybe, we'll actually figure out something, that everyone can agree on and be happy with. It's about finding, that ever elusive perfect balance, that we talk about a lot, but never actually achieve.
Let's begin.
Learning can be frustrating, time consuming, and even boring at times. That's why so many people are content on just living their lives and not striving for anything greater. However when you learn, and you read and you do your homework, you will be unstoppable. You will achieve greatness. You will not just survive, but you will thrive in this world. You will become more, than just an average human being. You will become a being of power. You progress from learning, but you have to find the balance in doing it. Power comes with responsibility. Power can only be achieved by those, who take the reins in their own hands.
Knowledge is power. Progress, just a step forward for mankind. Knowledge gives you the edge to succeed in life. Knowledge, progress and power. These words seem so simple, yet the implications are great. Don't just read them, grasp them by the horns and live your life by them. What is the use of power, if you don't use it to rise above the rest? What is the use of progress, if you don't use it to change the world for the better? What is the use of knowledge, if you don't use it to improve yourself? Life is all about balance. It is about finding that fine line where you not only survive, but thrive.
The Knowledge Progress Theory
Knowledge, progress and power is the tagline that, will go above all my writings. I will explain my thoughts on each and how I believe things should be balanced.
**Knowledge**
Knowledge is defined quite simply as the more you know, the less you need. I think quite often the world has unreasonable demands on knowledge. It used to be the case, that all one had to do to be considered educated was to learn how to read, write and count. These days though, education is so much more, than the tools of literacy.
Knowledge has taken on a much more complex meaning in the modern world. People want to know things. They'll never use in any way, shape, or form in their everyday lives. It almost seems as though society as a whole has developed a need for knowledge. Even worse, often times those with the most knowledge are those, who have the fewest practical skills to back it up.
I call this the "Knowledge Progress Theory". It basically states, that in order to get ahead in life, you need to keep learning new things. Even if you're not doing it for personal benefit, you're still getting ahead, because society demands it. This concept is horribly broken.
**Progress**
We progress through life not by actual growth, but by consuming what has been created before us. This is true in every aspect of life, but especially when it comes to knowledge. We don't actually achieve anything ourselves, we just consume the creations of those, who came before us. This cycle will never end. The more we consume, the more we want and the more we need. This need for knowledge will never be satisfied.
This need will never end. The key to success, the only way to true fulfillment, is to do something yourself. Create your own path. Nobody can do it for you. If you really want to achieve something in life, the only way to do it is to take the reins and drive yourself to success. Give yourself freedom. This concept is highly praised and greatly accepted. There is no greater driving force, than personal motivation.
However, it must be noted, that this concept does not just apply to success. It can be applied to pursuing any goal, that has meaning to you. I've heard it said many times, that if one has a passion, then everything else will fall into place. This is untrue. Passion is merely a byproduct of finding fulfillment in your goals. If you have a passion, then you have a reason to pursue your goals.
However, your goals do not need to be decided by something other than yourself. You do not need the approval of others. You do not need to fit in. You do not need to be great. You do not need to live up to some ideal. You do not need to succeed. You just need to be true to yourself. This, in my mind, is the ideal of balance.
**Power**
Power, in my mind at least, is the ability to do anything that doesn't harm or infringe upon the rights of others. This can be anything from changing the world to simply cleaning your room. The important thing is, that it's something you're willing to do even if you don't like it. Any task you give yourself should benefit you in some way. Otherwise, what's the point? Achieving your goals should be fun and not something you dread. When you achieve your goals, you'll be glad that you did. When you're content, you'll be happy. When you have a good time, life is good. This seems so obvious and so simple, but so many people forget it.
Properly understanding knowledge, progress and power is the key to achieving balance. Knowledge, progress and power. These are three of the most commonly misunderstood concepts in the world today.

Identifying Both Bad And Good People
While we are living our everyday lives and busy with our tasks, that's need to be done within a deadline, often times we may not even realize, what kind of people we are surrounded by. Maybe there are more bad people or people with bad intentions, than the good ones. Maybe they pretend to be good, but if you pay more attention to them, you will realize, what their real intentions are. In this article I am going to talk about how to identify both bad and good people.
Rules For Identifying And Avoiding Bad People
There are certain types of people, that you automatically start to avoid once you learn to identify them. Bad people tend to have certain traits, such as:
They're engaging in illegal or immoral activities (even if they're trying to hide it).
They're frequently engaging in violent or aggressive behavior.
They're attempting to intimidate others.
They're engaging in mean or bullying behavior.
They're attempting to control others.
They're attempting to gain power and influence over others.
And many other similar traits.
You can learn all of these traits by simply observing others. The more you observe, the easier it becomes to instinctively avoid, ignore, or even identify people as bad.

Practice Makes Perfect: Identifying Bad People
Once you learn to identify bad people, it's very simple to avoid them and to only associate with good people. This is the single most important thing you can do in order to avoid becoming a victim or an enemy.
You will have to be vigilant and you may have to occasionally "turn people away" from your group. This is completely worth it, as it's much safer to not have bad people around. If you're ever in doubt about someone, just observe them for a period of time and draw your own conclusions.
Real World Examples Of Bad People
Let's take a look at some real world examples of bad people so you understand the type of people you should be aware of.
A "Bad Seed" is a colloquial term used to describe someone, who has been identified as an at-risk youth in need of guidance, protection, or social services. They're referred to as "Bad Seeds" because they tend to grow up to be criminal, delinquent, or otherwise anti-social individuals. They tend to do worse in life, than other people and face more challenges and obstacles. As a result, they turn to crime or other anti-social behavior as a way of life.
Before you can truly identify someone as a "Bad Seed", you need to know what type of youth they had. For most youth, it's at least partially due to their environment. You can't point to any one thing and say, "Oh, that caused this kid to become a criminal" but there's usually something, that leads up to it. For kids that grow up in broken or abusive homes, it can be pretty shocking when they end up in the situation they're in when they're older.
Still, there are some kids that are just naturally criminal. They have no other skill set and tend to find themselves in trouble. Despite their best efforts, they just can't seem to keep out of it.
Regardless of whether or not they're naturally criminal or end up that way due to some sort of environment, none of that really matters. What does matter is whether or not a person is a "Bad Seed" (and there's actually no definite answer to that) but it's better to be safe than sorry.
Bad people are bad news. If you stick with good people, you'll probably stay out of trouble.
Identifying The "Good" Type Of People
So, how do you tell the difference between good people and bad people? It's actually pretty easy.
The good people are like your light; they're bright, they're easy to find, but sometimes they're somewhat hidden. They're similar to the "light" in the sense, that they're good influences on you, but they're trying to stay out of the "light" and not be targeted by it.
These are the people that go to church, do volunteer work, and live their lives trying to better the lives of others. They're teachers, doctors, lawyers, accountants, mechanics, and any other profession, that focuses on helping others. They're the people that always pay their debts, give the "little guy" a break, and go out of their way to help an injured stranger. They're the "good guys" that never get the recognition they deserve.
They're also the "good" people that live in the community and try to keep everyone safe from the "bad guys". In other words, the protectors. They have no desire to "take down the bad guys" because they believe the bad guys need to be taken out so the community can function properly. Because of this, they tend to find themselves massively outnumbered. One would think this would cause them to become bitter, but they don't. They just know that they have a duty to serve, and they do it.
They never fight back. They never strike back. They never do anything other than try to stop the horror, that hits the world. They do it because it needs to be done, because nobody else is going to do it. They do it because it's the "right" thing to do. As for you, you are one of the "light" yourself. You don't want to fight evil; you want to stop it. You want to find a way to end evil before it ends you.
You could easily go out and find someone, who wants to do what you do, but if you're really serious about this, then you need to work at it. You need to find the "good people" that aren't really noticed by everyone else. The people that don't draw attention to themselves. The people that are on the outskirts of the "light" although they'd rather be in the middle.
The problem is, however, these people are few and far between. In a world of crime, corruption, and general moral decay, being "good" is not only a rarity, but a dying breed. You need to find someone, that is still trying to do what's right, rather than what is profitable or pleasurable. It's a tall order, but with a whole lot of effort and determination, you could succeed.
The Odds Are Never In Your Favor
The odds are never in your favor. Sure, you may find a few people, that are the "good" type, but the ones that are really hurting people for profit are most likely going to be bad. Those are the ones you're going to have to try to put out of business. After all, the "good" type would never do things like that.
It's a simple enough plan, but the problem is you don't really have a "good guy" to help you. Most of the ones, that would be willing to work with you are bad, if only because they're looking out for number one and know that the "light" type is rarely if ever proactive in stopping bad things from happening.
Then there are those, that would be willing to work with you, but not because they think you're going to put them on the "good" list, but because they want something in return. Well, maybe that second one is a little too "bad" for you, but you get the idea.
Not to mention, there's all the obvious ones, that are going to be problems. The ones that will openly work with you out of a sense of "uber" villainy don't really strike your fancy. The ones that will see you as a mundane threat and try to screw with you in every way possible just to prove how "tough" they are. The ones that will just outright attack you and not give a crap about any of the excuses, justifications, or justifications in return. And that's just the ones you can think of off the top of your head.
So yeah, you better get to looking for the good people.
This is it for today. I hope you found something useful in this article. Thanks for reading.

Impatience: Why Are We Impatient And What Triggers It
The way we work and live in personal and professional life has led us into a situation where we cannot bear waiting. We accept that we'll need to adapt to an endless flow of information and we'll need to wait for it to come to us like a wave. But why is the human mind so dramatically inclined to anxiety and impatience?
Many people experience impatience in one way or another. Most of the time, it goes unquestioned and unexamined at the conscious level. But when it manifests in a destructive way, such as when we become reckless, it can be very serious.
The main trigger is the feeling of frustration, that arises when we anticipate that we will not get something we want immediately. This frustration can easily expand into anger, and this is a common way in which our minds trigger more destructive behavior, such as violence and other damaging emotions.
The Issue With Being Impatient
The issue with being impatient is that it is a crutch. It can allow us to avoid situations, that we are uncomfortable in, or it can cause us to make poor decisions, because we believe we can get a better outcome by acting now.
In our society today, we place a great deal of importance on being productive and making a profit. It is important to be productive and make a profit, because we need to survive and make a living. But it is also important to take a break from time to time, to enjoy life and not worry about our toils. A small amount of enjoyment can increase productivity more, than you might think.
Loss of productivity and focus is a major problem today. This is not only a problem within the workforce, but a serious issue in many aspects of life. Being impatient can cause us to miss out on amazing opportunities, because we are too concerned about our future. Or it can lead us to make poor choices now, that we end up hating later on.
Many people are concerned about the world around them, but nobody is really trying to solve the problem. People are content on complaining about the problems that they see, but few actually dedicate themselves to finding a solution. This is a waste of talent and intelligence.
What is the purpose of our lives? To live well and enjoy ourselves now. If that means changing the world to a better place, then that is what we must do. But until that time, why waste your life in a meaningless way?
Don't Let Impatience Ruin Your Everyday Life
In our constant push to be more and more productive, we sometimes forget the reason why we are doing so. The purpose of all our effort is to ensure a better future for ourselves and those we love. Of course, we want to improve our lives and do more, but we must remember that we will not always be young and strong.
We must always remember to enjoy the here and now, to put aside our ambitions for a later date, because if we do not, we may find ourselves living our lives over again, but this time without any of the happiness or fulfillment, that comes with it.
We often forget this, for we are impatient for the day when we can finally achieve what we want, but this is a foolish way of thinking. If we knew the future, we would not live as we do, we would not take the risks we do. Life is uncertain and we must make the best of what we have now, for tomorrow we may not.
It is important to always remember, that we cannot change the past, and that we must not let the future corrupt the present. The future is unknown and uncertain, but that does not mean we should not make the best of the lives we are given now.
How To Deal With Impatience
The easy way out is to not become impatient in the first place. This is usually far too late though, once one starts to get impatient, it is very difficult to stop. That is why it is important to be aware of this problem and how it can effect your life.
There are some things that you can do to help with your patience. The most important thing is not to take things so seriously. Life is not always a life or death situation, and even the ones that are serious should be taken in that manner at most.
Do not try to fix everything in one go. Fix the things that are most important to you, because once you start fixing them, the rest of the problems will probably solve themselves.
Try to maintain a proper work-life balance. If you are not careful, work can take over your life, and then you will also have no life. Last but not least, have fun. If you are having fun, then you are probably not being impatient.
Prevention
So how do we prevent being impatient? The first step is to become aware of the feeling as soon as it arises. Look at the situation as it is, do not let your mind's imagination or past experiences alter that. If you are in a state of impatience due to frustration, then the best way to handle this is to wait. This does not mean sitting there and stewing, but rather taking a step back from the problem. In cases of anger, find a way to channel your energy into something else, such as exercise or a good intellectual pursuit.
In most cases, this will be a temporary sensation that will pass. In others, you will realize that something needs to change in your life to prevent these rushes of frustration from arising as often as they have been lately. In those cases, you will have to make changes to your life. Meditate, pray, go for a walk, talk to someone you trust, or otherwise manage your life in a proper way to make sure, that these sensations do not occur as often.
Practicing Patience
If you are serious about changing the way you think, then you are going to have to practice. This may be difficult at first, but if you truly want to change, then you will make an effort in doing so.
You should make a list of all the times you were impatient. For each one, try to think back on the situation and how it has changed. Did the outcome make things better or worse? Was it something, that you could have done something about?
Once you have completed this activity, read through the list and for each one think about how you can improve the next time. Decide what you can do to help yourself and how you can deal with the situation in a better way next time.
As you begin to fix these little flaws in your personality and others begin to notice a difference in you, you will find that it becomes easier and easier to be patient. Once you master this, you will find that life will become less tedious and you will truly be glad, that you took the time to change yourself.
