Frustratingly i've rented a cerberus last night that's good for 15 days To my dismay its nowhere to be found Though its cheap its very frustrating cant we have a lock for rented cards?!

How is it you can't find it? Do you mean, it doesn't appear in your cards deck? Have you tried in the "rented to me" filter (below playable) in the cards section?
You should at least have it for 2 days, given that's the minimum rental period. Only after 48h the owner can recall the card. Something else must have happened. Could you have rented a card on cooldown, for example? Go to your Collection and filter by "Rented to Me" and see if it pops up.
