Let Men Be Men

Its another season of reflection again. Today, I like to be free from her and to be courteous with my reasoning, with a sense to balance it with how every kind of person would view it. Of course, I know people would always have different perspectives to a discourse, which is normal but we have to strive for what is right. 

I have watched with a sense of respect for both the male and female genders. The argument for gender equality has won a lot of grounds for the female gender but with that, there seems to be little or no change in world problems. 

With gross attention, I have listened to women likewise who have seen themselves as equal men. With every sense of humility, I'd like to stress that no matter the level of civilization we rub on this matter, man is wired differently by nature from women. And women are wired for a special assignment from men.

My Humanist Idea

To say that I haven't supported the feminist agenda to some level is a white lie. Some of the ideals that the feminist school of thought have argued in support for are very crucial and valid. Hence, I agree with it. 

We were  first humans  before we became men or women and that should be respected. 

Sometimes,we may like to mention those things that men can do that women cannot do. But that is not the core of the matter. As much as we know that men are stronger by nature than women, we should have the will to share respect across both sexes irrespective of who is stronger or otherwise. 

Strength is very important when you want to consider the difference between the two genders but wisdom could be a stronger force than strength. 

By strength shall no man prevail. 

All our arguments for or against one gender or the other are brought bigger over time by the evil contents and imagination of mankind. 

Disobedience to family virtues and immorality expanded the scope for the differences that the world is currently witnessing in the fight for equality  between both genders. 

The truth is that the male and female genders cannot be equal. Nothing in life will make them equal. The divide has been clearly stated by nature. Hence, not even man or woman can make them equal. The line between the men and female folks are parallel and cannot meet. 

Though the above, what makes the genders to be equal and honoured is the fact they the following are practised:

No Monopoly of Wisdom: There are times when the wisdom of both genders are needed to promote justice, fairness and progress. Since no one is an island of knowledge, when certain decisions are to be made, the ideas of both men and women should be considered alike.

We should come to the realisation that it takes two to tango. 

Two heads are better than one.

Mutual Respect: When we respect each other, there will be no reason to struggle over who owns what right or other if we respect one another. 

More alignment will cause the world to be a better place for men and women will allow respect to bridle or tame their ego. 

Dialogue It: When an issue is threatening peace and tranquillity, the best way around it is to sit on a round table and discuss to resolve it amicably. We have found that in our bids to settle the score between the male and female gender, on an individual basis, rarely would you find a place of dialogue. 

Dialogue could be an essential tool to foster a healthy relationship in the society between men and women. 

Public Office Holding: Society's thoughts of giving one public office in the hands of one gender should end already, it should rather be on the basis of qualification. 

Just like women can assume the post of housekeepers as wives, the ability or skill required to run a home may be applied in the secular world. Hence, there shouldn't be any form of segregation between men over women in holding public office. 

Even though the foregoing can help reduce the stereotype between both genders, it should be noted that natural demarcation has been created to give natural decisions on what a man can do better than a woman. 

Like I said earlier in this article, the body physique of men is created by nature to dwell on some premise.  But in recent times, the advancement in technology and other civilization in orthodox medicine have given space for the female gender to arrive at the same level of function as the male. 

So, we need to move with time. And on a serious note, the female gender aren't doing badly in some of these adventures they have assumed in the 21st century.
