Addiction is a state of being unable to stop the over-use of substances, drugs, alcohol, sex, porn etc. In most circumstance, the addicted individual does not seem to understand that he has an abnormal problem that may need urgent help. The abnormality becomes a lifestyle that is enjoyed as long the perpetrator is ignorant of it.

People can get addicted to a lot of stuffs that could be harmful to their health or physique. Most people really do care less what happens to their health and social.life in as much as they satisfy their present pleasure.

Addiction could also be on internet gaming (bet or gambling), fast food and parties. There are guys who always look forward to attend parties every weekend. In most cases, when they are not officially invited for such parties.

SIGNS OF ADDICTION

•Feeling sickly when you try to stop the act. The pressure is always high when you try to stop an addiction. You may begin to fall sick. At this point, do not be scared, it's just a feeling that you have to fight to overcome. Stand your ground and decide not to venture in to it again.

•When you are always alone. If you had been in the company of a gang that made you engage in an habit, the need to withdraw so as to avoid engaging in that habit may result into loneliness but soon, the right kind of people will come around or you will find them. The loneliness will not last forever.

•When you look unkempt and do not care how you look or appear in public places. Substance users, when they lose control of their thought will always look unkempt and in their appearance. Survey have shown that about 45% of people, especially males who look unkempt are abusers of substance.

•The urge to use the addicted time everyday. Since the body is ready used to engaging at that time, it is consequential when trying to put an end to that habit. The body will adjust over time when you bring in under subjugation.

•Sometimes when you do everything to ensure you get the substance, even having to sell your personal effects. That's a very dangerous part of addiction. Gamblers in particular would go any length to get fund to gamble even if they had lose recently in a gambling feat.

Addiction is a killer of destiny. Run or flee from anything that can cause you harm. Instead, be moderate in all things.

Addiction is indeed a killer of destiny. You don't need to write a letter to anyone or organise a send forth party to quit. Nice write-up
