Just because it was on SALE it doesn't mean you will BUY it specially if the item is DEPRECIATING in value. This necklace was on SALE at H&M! I took that longest queue just to buy this item back then because I was so engrossed on its design. I had the money, so I told myself I deserve to buy it. I never bought items that were not on sale anyhow unless if I truly wanted it just for its perks. As I was reflecting NOW how this accessory ( actually had lots of them that I haven't even worn anymore when I came to Seychelles because I don't feel like wearing it all, I've realized how I wasted not only monetary but the TIME that I invested with these items. It may be on SALE but still quite pricey. I had this moment in my life whereby DELAYED GRATIFICATION was not part of my vocabulary specially with my first 6 months in Doha, however I have learned my greatest lesson that when it comes to DELAYED GRATIFICATION, it is best to truly wait and ask yourself whether you authentically NEED it? will you die without having it? if not, then delay for a while.
