A friend based in Germany once told me that they always have hesitations to come to Seychelles due to the expensive cost of hotels, though I have suggested Airbnb as there are affordable prices to check from. During our 3 days and 2 nights staycation at Cerf Island, 15 minutes away from Mahe, it costs us 5000 SCR! 2500 per night, the usual prices of any other hotel which have a pool as one of the main amenities. The experience was a blast as the 5000SCR ( 327 Euro/ 387 USD) included Breakfast and Dinner! However, upon checking in some of the amazing islands on Yas in Abu Dhabi, I was amazed that a 4-star hotel would cost only 11,998 SCR for 11 nights included Breakfast alone. I opted for this option thinking that we would be out for dinner mostly as I would be attending the convention as well. What's my point? I think I can understand my friend now when she kept saying to me that here in Seychelles, it's not easy to come over for a holiday because it's just too EXPENSIVE, she loved how this island is presented through magazines but coming over is not as easy as what she thinks. Though the airport is now open for tourists, still the main consideration is the cost of their staycation. Anyhow my experienced booking indirectly without the aide of Radisson's Membership rate was not so convenient as I was always rerouted to "search option" instead of "payment option". Time is so crucial for other things so BookingDotCom is the best option. I had my Travala account yet the hotels were quite expensive.lol! Any thoughts guys? images of Radisson Blu hotel, a screenshot from my confirmed booking (edited on Canva) images of Cerf Island edited on Canva
