There was a time I used to be shopaholic back in Doha especially when it's RAMADAN (usually after the feast) because of its SALE or Discounted items that would reach up until 70% off. It was fun buying those items that I love because my justification was that "I have the money to do and I was entitled for what I wanted to buy" I cringed when I reflected on this behaviour I once had. Likewise it's not just the amount of money that was lost but my identity when it comes to signature clothes. In my country, when you wear "branded" items, dang you are considered the big dog! It's insane how the society can easily brand you on what you wear and on what you have. Tsk tsk materialism at is finest!
