The notion of of converting almost everything into our currency was kinda amusing on the first three weeks of our arrival in the Middle East. Like you know you can't help but feeling a bit concerned that you spent that amount of money when back in the Philippines we rarely bought such items. I am talking about e.g. shoes which would cost on a regular price either at Aldo or Ninewest around 350-500 QR multiplied to 12 equals a waste for me because such an amount of money can buy other items which were more useful. Branded shoes were "trending" as the idea of wearing it gave you an image of a fashion statement. What's your stand on it? #PersonalFinance
