It was about 4 years ago when one of my best friend's mother suddenly visited our college and when my friend was informed that she has a visitor during break time I tagged along with her (at that time we didn't know who came) And then suddenly she asked me to wait outside and she came out of the visiting room after some time and led a lady towards the gate. I waited till she was back and then asked Me: Hey, who was that lady She: mmm someone I know Me: ohh ok you both have a lot resemblance She: mmm actually she is my mother but don't tell anyone else Me: ohhhhhh it's good to see her I fèel bad for not greeting her She: actually I don't want her to meet my friends, you saw how fat she is that's why I don't want my friends to see her It took sometime to admit that a daughter can really say something like this about her own mother and I really wondered if she would never like her friend, me, to meet her family after all I was way more uglier than the lady, her mother.

That's an incident that we can learn a lot from. Hope her mom gets her due respect.
that is sad. I wonder where she got that notion , feeling, idea on not being proud of her mom just because of how she looked. So sad, I hope she will realize that it's not the outer beauty that counts but in their inner beauty and of all people that's her mother in which where she came from. She owed her life to that woman.
