Daily wildlife photography: the common tern, Sterna hirundo. This rocky location is called "Furnas de Santo António", and it's an important nidification place of this species, as well as another tern species. Found several individuals there, coming and going, and preeening their feathers as the visitors enjoyed the show. Photos taken in Pico island, Açores.
