Daily wildlife photography: the green iguana, Iguana iguana. I'm not sure if this is the biggest green iguana I've seen... but it's by far the one with the meanest look! I spotted it during a canoe ride in Tortugero, a nature park in Costa Rica. Despite the angry look, green iguanas are harmless, they're vegeterian... but don't try to grab them, because they can bite, and those tales give some powerful lashes! As with all creatures in nature, look and admire, but don't touch. :)
