Daily wildlife photography: the little green bee-eater, Merops orientalis. It's amazing how colourful bee eaters are. These one were probably festing on all the insects in the little garden where I spotted them. Even saw a marital discussion, where the male bee eater was checking out the gorgeous female bee eater on the first photo, and had to flee quicky when his wife landed on the branch, furious... or then I just have a vivid imagination! :) PS. there's no telling males from females bee eaters in this species, they're both beautiful!
