For the first time since its inception, bad news on the Splinterlands realm: the team had to lay off 45% of the staff. It's a surprise, although in these last months some warning signs were already there. I still think game will skyrocket and the team already proved their worth, but some things really need to change, especially the new player experience. Any thoughts?

I won't be to comment on the quality aspect. But to an outsider it only looks sensible to 'cut' some costs to survive in the long term
Yep. Hope they fix what needs to be fixed!
Tough decisions but I'm sure that the whole GameFi sector will be huge boosted by the next bull run and then there will be demand for professionals. And when it comes to Splinterlands, they'll be fine too. Still the best blockchain game there is.
As for best game, no doubts about it!
And by far!
