Daily wildlife photography: the black redstart, Phoenicurus ochruros. Found this cute female during a weekend getaway, in a rural area. Females in this species are easily distinguished from males, since males are mostly black. What they do have in common is the beautiful red tail, that this one decided to expose for the photography!
