Daily wildlife photography: the common bottlenose dolphin, Tursiops truncatus. Who doesn't like seeing these guys? I was in a whale watching expedition in Açores, when a big group of dolphins appeared, following the boat and doing some acrobatics. No whales on that day, so seing the dolphins up close was a good consolation prize. This is one of the most common species of dolphins in the world, with a worldwide distribution, except in polar regions.
