Daily wildlife photography: the white breasted waterhen, Amaurornis phoenicurus. The big feet and legs of this bird are adapted to walking swiftly among marshlands. They didn't seem that disturbed with my presence, maintaining some distance but still actively searching for food. I say "they", because there were a couple chicks following this adult.
