Daily wildlife photography: the american crocodile, Crocodylus acutus. This amazing reptile can reach over 4 meters! These photos were taken in Costa Rica, in the pacific side. A bridge over rio Tarcoles quickly became a tourist attraction, since good number of these animals can be seen swimming and basking in the river's shores. There's only another species of crocodilian in this country, but it belongs to the alligator family. And do you know the difference between an alligator and a crocodile? Well, one sees you later, and the other one... in a while! PS. Sorry, it was too hard to resist the dumb joke ! :) #Photography
