Daily wildlife photography: the common ringed plover, Charadrius hiaticula. Found this little guys walking in a beach in southern Portugal. There are only three species of plovers in Portugal, and they're normally found in coastal areas; they're easy to recognize: no other similar species exist! Photos taken in Tavira, Portugal.
