YouTube and google clearly sucks a lot. I'm not using google lately but I do watch youtube often. And it gets worse and worse every year. They present you the stupidest crap on top of the search results. It gets even worse year after year like they deliberately dumbing down the audience. Can't even block a YouTube channel you don't want to see.

YouTube used to be a great site until it was acquired by Google. Little by little, it's turning into what you say: silly entertainment for the masses.
That is true! Especially Google which never shows prominent and authentic at the top. They put the business first then viewer's choice.
