  means nobody is in custody but the user. The opposite are custodial wallets, which lately dominate in Lightning-BTC. These are wallets that control the keys and don't give access to the user, but only act on trust. Basically the maxis today are doing the exact opposite of what Satoshi advocated for. Most Bitcoin Cash services are non-custodial, not centralized. Basically all wallets are non-custodial (don't control the keys) like Bitcoin(com), Electron Cash, etc.

    Okay, I had the meaning backwards. I thought non-custodial means you do not have custody of it (which it seems to me would be logical but...)
