The goal is creating content thousands of people would want to watch and read. The next step, going viral, is even more difficult but with consistency everything is possible. However, content creators on various platforms are misguided. Some platforms like Hive for example have no potential simply because they have no real audience, just creators in an echo-chamber. Writers on Hive are not creating stories for genuine readers but rather for each other, fueled by financial incentive. The stories with top rewards usually offer nothing of value, yet other writers are engaging with these top-paid writers not out of genuine interest but only to attract attention to their own work. Well, here's the sad truth about Hive. No actual content creator thinks of using Hive, ever. No creator that values their work will ever move to Hive from YouTube, Medium, Instagram, since there is no genuine audience there.
