LawPunks, the NFT series had an upgrade today. There is a new system that rewards users with LAW tokens for staking and leveling the NFTs using LAW tokens again. It seems there is no maximum level, although a previous list the team behind Law Punks (BlockNG) gave, was only reaching level 100. There is also hash-rate included, and each Punk has unique abilities that produce different values. Now, at this point, I've read a lot about wash trading and got to tell you about this. 1. I remember CryptoPunks since 2017-2018. I never thought it was anything else but a wash trade, yet it wasn't. Of course, some collectors did a lot of fake trades to increase volumes and prices. Nobody can deny that most cryptocurrency volumes in exchanges are wash trading, though. This is a big fact and everyone in crypto since 2017, knows how exchanges and certain whales manipulate volumes. 2. The CryptoPunks hype is real and exploded with the NFT bullish phase this year. 3. I have no reason to promote LawPunks, but I find it is making waves in BCH, while the same project in other blockchains failed massively. 4. I don't think it is the same team behind all similar projects, and even if it was, I still prefer unique NFT collections, not something that looks like a copy of another good idea. 5. I sold a Law Punk I was holding for many BCH. And I did not sell it to myself. So there may be wash trading, but there are also buyers looking for an opportunity. 6. I still hold about 20 other Punks, some with unique features, and perhaps all together if sold today can reach another 5-6BCH. But I don't plan to sell them. 7. I value online privacy, and suggest to everyone to be less open with their wallets and holdings. I am sorry but I don't disclose which is my wallet address. I suggest being strict with your privacy and this means also the public key. Most blockchains are transparent and you don't want anyone scooping in your wallet knowing exactly how much you hold. 8. All I wrote here as any previous posts, are supportive to SmartBCH most of all, and secondly to an NFT project that managed to take off in the SmartBCH ecosystem. It is the second one I've seen selling thousands of NFTs after Poolside Puffers. I'm not lying when saying the floor price was such, and I keep reading comments about wash trading, however, I sold so far about 10 NFTs at a floor price and one that was rare for many BCH. I bought NFTs at the mint phase and got lucky that is all. The one I sold increased in value a lot just days ago. I will not give its number or description for these reasons: i) I don't want anyone looking into my wallets, ii) What if its price reaches 10 or 100 times the price I sold it? 9. I was a Crypto Punk hater too and calling it a scam. Guess who laughed next to me? Everybody that ignored my opinion. 10. This doesn't mean there is no wash trading. A guy is trying to inflate the price of a certain NFT and selling it between two of his accounts. However, most of the volumes are real. I am buying low and selling higher and so do many others. Perhaps at some point, interest may weaken and prices will go lower. I never said anyone will be rich from this or there is no risk involved. There will be more NFTs and SmartBCH is certainly not comparable to Ethereum at this point. Yet, the reality is that the rare punks sell at levels you think they shouldn't. There is demand and there are reasons there is. Anyway, this was too long of a noise. Don't ask me which NFT I sold and for how much, I won't answer that. Those that trade LawPunks already know that most volumes are real. Just the screenshot I give, explains that the floor price of the most common Punks is 800% higher already than the mint price. There is no hype in anything I previously wrote about Law Punks. It is the second NFT project in SmartBCH that sold out, and it had a marketplace ready. If Puffers also add a marketplace there will be high volumes there as well. OASIS is opening up tomorrow and we will see. #NFTs #SmartBCH #BitcoinCash
