Some people are not thinking clearly about LN-BTC and the El Salvador deal. This is not a positive sign for cryptocurrencies. Such a move destroys everything cryptocurrency stands for. It is really sad watching all this cheering for censorship, KYC, and reliance on the government. Not even the slightest regulation is required unlike what BTC maxis will be saying. BTC is not crypto anymore. It is not Bitcoin and not cryptocurrency. It is expensive to move digital cash under the control of governments. I am too disappointed by all those sellouts that were supposed to be revolutionary all this time. Luckily, we have Bitcoin Cash and we can use it on-chain to send our money instantly and almost free of charge to anyone we want. In a couple of years, if the BTC circus doesn't implode, the maxis will be calling their bank and ask for authorization of their transactions.
