When you can't convince blocked minds it's best to ignore them regardless if they one day change their mind and decide you were better than they assumed. Apparently some people make up their minds based on hunches, which is always the worst indicator. The right path is giving several chances to people to prove themselves. Unless, of course, they can't hide they are untrustworthy.

I'm too old to give people 'several' chances. They're lucky if I give them two these days. I ain't got time to waste on them.
