Like The Wind. Does this song remind you of anything? Yesterday I stumbled upon a video containing a song that I am sure I had listened to before, yet nobody knows who the artist is. This mystery has attracted several people globally on a quest to find out the creator. Here's the song: THE MOST MYSTERIOUS SONG ON THE INTERNET - FULL VERSION FOUND! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zPGf4liO-KQ It reminds me of several 80's new wave bands, while the voice sounds like Peter Steele (RIP) from Type O Negative. Still, this might not be a popular band at all. The song was played by a German radio station sometime in 1984. Recording songs from the radio to tape and a German guy recorded this song along with others. Twenty years later, that person found the tape he had recorded, and it immediately caught his attention. He is trying to discover clues about the artist since 2007, but until today nobody has figured it out. Many bands only release a promo with 1-2 songs and immediately disband (for several reasons). Yet, this song is so catchy, and the first time I listened to it on YouTube I was sure I knew it from somewhere. Perhaps it reminds me of a different song, though. Difficult to tell. There's also disagreement on the internet regarding the lyrics because of the singer's accent. The song lyrics are strange too. There's disagreement regarding the "Like the Wind" part, which initially was mentioned as "Blind the Wind", which makes no sense as a sentence or in the context of the rest of the lyrics. While the song was played at a German radio station in the 80s, it could be coming from anywhere. Some suggested as an origin even the ex-Soviet Union or Yugoslavia. A hunt on the internet goes on, on the subreddit: r/TheMysteriousSong and various other forums and discord channels. Wiki link: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Most_Mysterious_Song_on_the_Internet
