I wrote an article on Hive, about Hive, and about the reasons HIVE SUCKS. Any author that has any self-respect would immediately abandon Hive or use it to republish articles, just for the 1-2 real people that might care to read those. https://ecency.com/hive-125125/@pantera1/why-should-i-create-content More or less, in both Hive and Steemit, you have to cheat with bots and fake views. These two platforms are still not dead but they should have been years ago. A post with pictures of a snail gets more engagement than a post with a lengthy analysis of the market. Why should I ever create exclussive content or even publish my content originally in Hive/Steemit since the result will be 2 views and 1 upvote? Someone told me to post from LeoFinance, I did that too, and it was even worse, since leofinance is lagging like shit. I wonder why these two platforms still survive. All I've seen from both Hive and Steemit was spam earning tips and engagement. hmm I usually posted via Motherhood and 3speak ( very rarely) as I have mentioned my time constraint won't let go through different communities. I might try to work my way to Medium and not Minds? what do you think? Thanks for the heads up

Those platforms are still alive thanks to snails 😂 But it's normal tho. You can't expect for people to like a Kendrick Lamar song more than Gangnam Style 😅🤣

I left steemit after maybe a month of joining it. I agree that most of the members there cheat the system to earn ridiculous amounts of tips in just seven days. I haven't explored Hive yet, but I joined last month. As for the 'Snail story'. I checked the other posts of that author, the earning amount is varying, so I don't think she got that $5.98 by cheating. Perhaps that guy who gave that post a $5.74 worth of upvote loves snails. We've seen some 'simple' posts upvoted by @Mercdemesel with huge amount in read.cash while some well-researched posts are getting almost nil. Well it's their money to give.
