Poll time again! What do you understand when someone responds to you by saying: "cool story, bro"? a) That your story was cool, and someone also called you a bro or b) Your story was not arousing interest, and the other guy was being sarcastic?

You can never really know bro! 99% it’s just a generic response, but it could be also a genuine one!

  It was popular phrase several years ago used as sarcasm. It means nobody cares or cares to believe. Although it is a reference to small chat dialogues, not to full essays. I should have mentioned that.

For me it means: I didn't read, but, I'm interacting to see what I win. I don't like that, we write with passion and not being read is disrespectful as a blogger.

  Yes clearly if someone responded like that in one of my articles that's what I would also think. In small interactions during a chat, it is used sarcastically, and suggests it was boring, or not believable.

    I thought it was a comment on a post. I don't like comments like that. I write because I like it, and to mean that they didn't read anything. If it's a private message, then I think it's because he likes what you write. I would also write to you privately to tell you that.
