A problem with the aging internet (almost 3 decades now), is the links that don't work anymore. This phenomenon is has a name too: "link rot". (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Link_rot) It is common to read an academic paper containing links that are not working anymore. It is also common for YouTube, since the creator or youtube may have taken down (non-controversial or copyrighted material). Embedding videos is acceptable for writers. I don't often use them unless one helps me to make a solid point. It is also perfectly fine to embed videos since they are hosted and displayed directly from the YouTube servers. Anyway, when we meet a deleted video in our older publications we should edit and find something else or remove it completely if it is non-essential. Our previous articles matter and we should often revisit them, edit them, and even rewrite parts, as some may still generate traffic. Perhaps one of these articles can start trending all of the sudden, after a mention, a link by someone that read and found it interesting, or changes in SEO algorithms. #Writing

Great advice Pantera. I was actually thinking of editing some of my posts on read.cash. Will this send new notifications to people though?
It doesn't send notification. But there is an option to unpublish content, edit and republish. Maybe this will send, I'm not entirely sure, though. What I did one time was to completely rewrite one article, and gave the link again on noise.cash and social media.
