Events are unfolding at a rapid pace lately.

With the last one just a few hours ago, maybe there are valid reasons to analyze the situation? Cause if suspicions become true, then the time lost to create a counter-strategy may be detrimental.

Yesterday, we learned about a highly sophisticated attack against Noise.Cash, but it also seems that the purpose wasn’t to extract funds since what is on the website was already secured and the hackers must have figured this out already.

Today, with the new events unraveling, how can we seriously think that they are not connected?

After this last straw was drawn, my question is this: Are we all perhaps in danger these days?

Intimidation Techniques? From censorship to new grounds

I've read the recent posts by @MarcDeMesel and I'm not sure about what to think.

All our wishes and support are with you Marc.

This response to a Twitter user gives us confidence that everything will be fine.

I don’t republish the content from deleted tweets out of respect and support. I hope, though, that the device is at the hands of Marc and the post is his own. A lot is going on lately and there are people like Marc that can’t be silenced.

I didn’t replicate deleted content out of respect and understanding of the situation. I will delete this article if it serves better, since my intention is only to support Marc, Bitcoin Cash, Read.Cash, Noise.Cash, as well as any other Bitcoin Cash project and initiative.

I’m sure that being part of a certain network that not just condones but also approves censorship as a method of eradicating opposing voices, means that it won’t hesitate to act in other ways as well.

Yes this is about BTC. Which is not Bitcoin anymore. Let that sink in.

And you’ve all read the comments from the BTC army of shills on Twitter. Who are all these people? It doesn’t matter, they all act seemingly the same. They denounce any opposition with aggression and threats while appearing to have no moral grounds.

The BTC maximalists today are the same that previously used various illegal and immoral methods to acquire their BTC wealth.

Some have connections with darknet operators and some have helped set up these private networks. There is a lot of dirt in the BTC world, and this is not a secret.

But I doubt these guys are behind intimidation tactics and care too much for the price of BTC. The worst of them have too many concerns and wouldn’t be bothered.

This is something different. The modern BTC maximalists bag holders.

Maybe there are valid reasons to suspect an organized attack against Bitcoin Cash?

Personally Affected by Censorship

In this article: YouTube Suspends Bitcoin Cash Argentina (For No Reason) - A Disgraceful Attempt to Censor BCH I've previously published here at Read.Cash, I've expressed my concerns on the Bitcoin Cash Argentina YouTube channel suspension and also my suspicion that YouTube is surgically removing content that goes against the BTC narrative.

For my personal online experience, I've witnessed these signs lately:

• Sudden increase of spam (with malicious code injected) hitting my email at an alarming rate.

• My Twitter account was suspended for absolutely no reason. I've written about it yesterday in this noise. (I still get the same error even after messaging Twitter support).

• A couple of months ago my Youtube channel was suspended for no reason. I created a new account since the previous one didn't matter to me, still, there was no reason to suspend unless a biased security employee read my comments on BTC.

• Increased spam comments in all the platforms I am publishing written content (Read.Cash, Noise.Cash, Medium) with the intention to lower the quality of discussion. All these spam newly created accounts are reported immediately.

• Was banned from reddit community: r/cryptocurrency for defending users against censorship tactics by an arrogant and aggressive mod (not that I care either).

Maybe if you are a Bitcoin Cash supporter and creating content (articles, videos) you have also witnessed some suspicious signs. Write about your experience with censorship once you went against the BTC narratives in the comments below.

Now, what happened to me is clearly nothing. I get a few more spam emails that I presume they contain tracking tools and got suspended from two major media for no reason.

This is very different from a huge website like Noise.Cash getting hacked and its main benefactor having to face these issues just hours later. I'm afraid that there will be more similar "events" and there should be an organized strategy to defend against anything that might come next.

In conclusion - What's Next?

We know who are those supporting censorship. We also know how erratic is the latest behaviour of BTC shills, acting in good faith towards the maxis that pay them. Being a shill is one thing, but threatening and intimidating surpasses all limitation and is also going to bring legal issues.

The line must be drawn here.

These events have also started making people feeling unconfortable. And when you have some forces that can now move governments (banana republics), then it gets even scarier.

The more some elements grow in power, the worse of their character is becoming obvious. There are no names to be given in this post, and nobody to accuse, but we already suspect who are those behind most of these scare tactics.

I will be expecting increased attacks against all elements supporting Bitcoin Cash. Either this is Noise.Cash or personal attacks, hacks and even law implications set up by the paranoid dictators that want to force their view of custodials and KYC compliance on decentralized networks.

Better to begin immediately understanding the new dangers that apply. And not just for Bitcoin Cash community, since the target will be the whole decentralized cryptocurrency field.
