*🗓 Saturday, August 22, 2020* *You are the Light of the World*💡 Today’s declaration: *My life is a blessing to anyone I encounter*💃🏻 We being the light of the world, we have been put in a position that can’t be hidden; we’re just like a city on a hill.🔥Everyone sees us.😌 Now, our lives are supposed to be the light that will show people the way to God. Just as light shines on a path to show people the way, our lives must perform this same function—show people the way.😱 In the verse 16, Jesus told his disciples to let their light shine before men so that they (men) may see their (the disciples) good deeds and glorify God.🔥 We are to lead people to God by what we do, so if your life isn’t doing this job, then you have to check yourself.😐 You are the light of the world. Just like a city set on a hill. You cannot be hidden, so you must do well to lead people to the right path.🙅🏻‍♀️Don’t lead people astray by your deeds.🚶🏻‍♀️ Are you leading people to glorify God or not?🤔 *Today’s Scripture:* “You are the light of the world—like a city on a hilltop that cannot be hidden. No one lights a lamp and then puts it under a basket. Instead, a lamp is placed on a stand, where it gives light to everyone in the house.
