A mobile court has fined a lakh rupees for raiding a coal factory in Abhaynagar. Broke the coal furnace. Deputy Director and Executive Magistrate of Khulna Divisional Environment Department Zia Ahmed conducted the operation at Dhulgram of Siddhipasha Union of the upazila on Tuesday noon..According to court sources, a raid was carried out at Dhulgram on the banks of Bhairab river in Siddhipasha union of the upazila on Tuesday afternoon on the basis of reports that coal was being made by burning wood to the detriment of the environment. The owners of five factories fled during the operation. However, the owner of a coal factory named Ashish Kumar Dutt alias Joy Babu was caught by the police. At that time the environment department fined him one lakh rupees

Factory owner Ashish Kumar Dutt said, "I along with Kabir Sheikh of Siddhipasha village, Hormuz Ali Sardar of Dhulgram and Rakshed Ali of Chandragati village have built a coal factory by renting land from local Hormuz Ali for five long years." There are a total of 36 reactors. Two hundred minds are burned in each furnace. Which takes 10 days to burn coal. The manufactured coal is supplied to different parts of the country by river.

The owners and employees fled before the mobile court raided Farooq Hawladar's coal factory in the same village. According to the villagers, people are suffering from various diseases including shortness of breath due to black smoke while burning wood. Children and the elderly are at risk
