Can you survive a Zombie Apocalypse?

Today I was thinking about something that came in my mind which is survival against a zombie apocalypse. We did see at least a movie that has zombies in it and the survivors would try to survive and live and try to escape from the island or that city or whatever the infected area is, and today I want to talk about it. Can we survive a zombie apocalypse?

Surviving

Being able to survive in a zombie apocalypse is very hard and is actually harder than you think because everything will be either closed or simply infected by the zombies which are roaming around and in the city or the area you are in, and therefore you cannot or you will not be able to have any food or water for the meanwhile while trying to escape. Medicines on the other hand will also not be available unless you have some packs of medicines at home, and trying to survive a zombie apocalypse is quite challenging and needs a courageous heart and of course weapons and maybe a leader to lead the team of people to survival. So where are we going to get the weapons from? do you have any idea on how to survive a zombie apocalypse? Where to get the food from, what to eat and how to sleep while knowing that zombies can enter your house?

Places to stay in

In a zombie apocalypse sleeping in your house is not the best choice because you can be hunted and basically infected from the evil undead humans so sleeping in a safe place that has plenty of ways to get out from like many doors or many windows is one way to stay in but of course you guys can't sleep all at the same time, someone or two people at least have to stay awake to be able to tell if the zombies are coming to your house and to wake you up to get ready and try to escape. Building great safety like high metal gates all around the house if you have time and materials of course, or simply building something from scratch if you also have time for that and also have some materials to start with. Having no materials whatsoever requires you to hide at least in a safe and secluded spot maybe underground or in a very high place or building which requires you to build a ladder and then removing the ladder so the zombies can't climb up to you, another way is to keep switching from one house to another while keep hiding from the zombies and while having some type of weapons, guns, knives, bats or anything like a chainsaw to defend yourself meanwhile, until you reach to safety or find a helicopter or plane that you can travel with, and having a car or a bike is basically very needed but you also need gas so stopping every few on some stations to fill up your tank is the best thing you can do because you have to keep moving. One more thing is that you cannot stay in the same place unless you have a really big source of food and water until the zombies die eventually without any sort of food or nutrition they can have, so every now and then you have to escape. so basically you have to really keep moving forward or else the zombies will just come up to your house and get inside the house and infect you as well and your friends, or simply lock you inside with no food or water.

Weapons needed

You need a lot of weapons to fight off all the zombies you encounter as your bullets in any type of gun will eventually finish so you need some sort of weapon with you that you can fight off the zombies with which do not require you to have bullets or electricity or batteries to use it, so having a pistol, a machine gun or a rifle, and a sniper rifle including a knife is one way to do it. But the best way is to have all of those including many of the weapons or tools that you can use with your own bare hands such as a really big knife or a bat full of needles, or maybe something like a machete which will have a longer distance between you and the zombie to try to kill him.

One fun way to do is to ride on the motorcycle each one of you, while holding a chainsaw with batteries or a really really sharp knife and try to kill the zombies while driving, another getaway is to have a really big and armoured car or truck that you can run the zombies over with and escape. Sometimes you actually have to steal an armoured car or truck which can be obtained from a police station or simply any truck from a workplace. Another great weapon is acid, if you managed to obtain some sort of acid you can eventually make an acidic gun and spray the zombies with while driving on a motorcycle. what a fun way to escape.

Medications

If you don't have any sort of medications just hop into some pharmacy that is close to you or hospital and simply take any medicine that you find which you might need on your way out. Having bandages and alcohol based products is one good thing to have because you can clean wounds and put a bandage on them to help them recover and stop the bleeding, and take some pain killers if you somehow get injured and hurt which can help reduce the pain.

If you can't find any weapons

If you are unable to find any sort of guns or rifles to use then hop into a supermarket and take as many knives and pepper sprays as you can including alcohol bottles that you can throw on the floor and light them up to create fire and burn the zombies or stop them from coming to your way meanwhile, until you escape to another safe place. Other type of weapons include bicycle chains which can be tied up with any sort of baseball bat type or heavy wood sticks from the trees and try to fight your way out which is going to be a little bit harder. In the worst case scenario you can go to a pet store and free all the animals which are there to create a more chaotic scene to distract the zombies and try to escape which might hurt or kill the animals but I mean you're just trying to escape, aren't you?

Getting help

Help can be achieved by contacting anyone that you know or the police station or army if they are not infected by the zombies already while trying to fight them off, then you can have some sort of help and you might have a better chance of escaping if you wait for them to come, but from my own opinion escaping on yourself with bunch of friends is better than escaping with the police that will create a lot of attention for all the zombies. Less people means less zombies to detect you. If you somehow cannot use your own mobile then hoping outside in a safe place and trying to use the payphone or any phone from any shop or house you can access, can help.

Believing in yourself and your leader, or maybe you are the chosen leader

Believing in yourself is one way to get closer to escaping and surviving, and getting scared or having some sort of anxiety or depression while the zombie apocalypse is going on will not help you in any way and will probably make the situation even worse than it is. Avoid any sort of overthinking and focus on your goal of surviving even if you somehow get injured just keep moving forward and remember that you have a life to live and you have to survive, you even need to survive if you have loved ones for you to take care of or someone that loves you and that's waiting for you to come back. And if you have another person that's leading the team then believe in your leader and follow his steps one by one so you can have a better chance of escaping and try staying together as a team for more protection and detection.

Zombie apocalypses can be hard but they can also be fun for the hardcore survival like-minded people and escaping with a brave heart and a good soul to help your friends as well is a success and something to be proud of.
