I seen that another Splinterland Battle Challenge took place, involving the Exploding Dwarf. This little guy has a fiery temper and a strong attack. Has blast at level 1, piercing at level 3, retaliate at level 6 and trample at level 9.
I chose a rush damage team that can hit behind the tank and annihilate ranged, casters or healers, and the Goblin Mech shielding my kick-ass cards. The Ettin Spearman, Pyromancer, Sand Worm, Fineas Rage and the Exploding Dwarf were chosen to seek and destroy.
My prediction was right as the opponent build his team around the back healer and the Silvershield Paladin as a tank. He used the Divine Healer, Elven Cutthroat, Feral Spirit, Silvershield Knight and Peacebringer as a mix of damage, heal and sneak.
The Paladin and Peacebringer were down in round two, followed by the Divine Healer in round 3. The battle ended in 5 rounds, losing only the Goblin Mech.
At level one, the Exploding Dwarf has 1 Health, 2 Speed and 3 Damage. The blast ability works as a treat against healers and casters, as damage is spread to monsters adjacent to the target. At 5 mana, it can be used in both rush games and tactical battles.
