Pegaxy SOS - Fusing to stop the downfall!

Feels like a lifetime since I started playing ... and it's only few months. Everything happens at 10x the speed in the metaverse, and Pegaxy was no exception. The Play2Earn game turned from El Dorado to fool's gold as those who joined while the game was sky high will have to work hard to see ROI or profit. Pega Fusion and new prize pools were added as a $VIS burn mechanism and a method to stop the landslide.

I decided to stop breeding at 30 pega, mainly because the amount of male horses was much bigger than the females. Was no point to bread weaklings when I could fuse the ones I had into better ones. At one point was more expensive to breed then to buy, and with the meteoric fall was no incentive to expand anymore. I was struggling to find scholars and I had to accept that the game is not attractive anymore. Fusing was the solution!

The Pega Fusion allows the players two burn any two horses of the same level for the above rank. The initial costs were cut down, as the community complained about the high cost of fusing. Two pacers will be burned to obtain a rare pega, after paying 8,000 VIS and 30 PGX tokens. Two rare pega can be fused for 16,000 VIS and 30 PGX, to obtain a fresh epic horse. Only the PGX price for fusing a legendary was reduced, from 240 to 30, while the VIS price was kept at 32,000 tokens.

Why fusing? Because better pega will win juicier prizes. It's all for the long game, and an effort to maintain the game alive. The prize pools where modified... as the initial amounts were an absolute joke. The pacer pool was reduced to 45 VIS, only to be raised at 70. The new prize pools were raised at 210 VIS for Rare, 570 VIS for Epic and to an amazing 1550 VIS for Founders and Legendry. At this point is not worth it to race paces and the only solution is the fuse them for hopefully better ones. 

The first fuse was to write history! Clover and Elesana will fuse in a poetical act of love. The two original horses, the spark that led to 30 pega, were about to become an absolute unit! Elesana had 6 Strength, 6 Water and 9 Fire, while Clover had 7 Strength, 6 Water and 9 Lightning... good parents for a future star! Both had WR above 25% after over 1000 races, and the Epic fuse gave me this snail! Clover Elesana didn't match the expectations, with 6.76% win rate from over 1000 races.

The next step was to fuse all the pacers with WR below 10%. Gave the fresh rare pega a full 25 energy run and fused for another epic! The higher WR pega will give the name of the rare, and the Ultimate title is to show the superior level. 

After few hours of racing and fusing was time to add another Epic to the PVM Stable of Windrunners! Will it be just a waste or VIS and PGX? Will the new horse become a track legend? Time and blockchain transactions will tell!

Superior fusing was how this Goblin-Skinned was born!  Club Cats made an instant impact, getting quick to a win rate above 40% and even winning two races in a row! Unfortunately it couldn't maintain that high rate but even 25% is ok for an epic pega! 

Other pacers will stay as pacers, as the win rate is outstanding. Have a look at Club1BCH | Club Cats water specialist speedster, with 45.95% win rate. This pega won $VIS in 646 races from 1406! Unbelievable!

Be honest and admit you were waiting for the end joke! We all love horses, and we all have idols ... but is not always perfect when you finally get to meet your idol in person!
