I knew Madrid was going to win but I was expecting both team to score.
That was not the only real chance. Benzema scored a goal in the first half that was disallowed for offside. But as you can see, there was another Liverpool player behind Benzema. The goal had to pay.
Benzema was in an offside position but the pass wasn't from a colleague so giving offside was wrong in law
In my screenshot you can see that Benzema was not offside.

You are right. Because the goalkeeper is normally in the goal, the last defender is normally the penultimate player. Here, however, the goalkeeper was far in front, so the second defender was the penultimate player. I didn't think about it.
